Outlines
ð Introducing the Road Train Challenge
The video script begins with an introduction to a road train challenge featuring a K20 tractor and a road train built for the task. The host, Murphy, welcomes viewers back to his channel, Murphy's Diesel, and introduces Whistle and Diesel, who have brought their K20 to pull the road train. The Dozer, which is part of the road train, is described as not being in the best condition, with some transmission issues, but is expected to be powerful enough to get on the trailer. The team prepares to load the Dozer onto the trailer and discusses the challenges they might face, including concerns about the brakes and the PTO of a mixer truck that had been damaged in the past.
ð Highway Attempt with Additional Weight
After loading the Dozer, the team attempts to take the road train onto the highway. They encounter difficulties as the old square body truck struggles to move the heavy load. To aid in this, they decide to add weight by placing 5,000lb concrete blocks in the back of the truck. The team also discusses the route they will take, which includes going to LA 1021 at 24 Main Street. There's a humorous moment when they realize police officers are behind them, but it turns out to be a light-hearted interaction.
ð ïž Building the Ultimate Road Train
The script continues with the team working through the night to build three more dollies for the road train. They are preparing for Whistling Diesel to arrive and hook his K20 to the 400,000lb road train on Old Route 66. The team is excited about the challenge and is making sure everything is in place for the big pull. There's a sense of anticipation as they discuss the possibility of the road train moving and the potential for it to get 'Western', a term used to describe a dramatic or impressive event.
ð§ Road Train in Action on Old Route 66
The team successfully assembles the road train and begins the challenge of moving it down Old Route 66. They discuss the weight distribution and the importance of the road train's contraption working effectively. The host engages with the audience, asking for their thoughts on whether the little red Chevy will be able to pull the massive load. The team also considers the possibility of using a wrecker with a crane to add more weight if needed and ensures that the brakes are functioning correctly before proceeding.
ð The Road Train Pull and Its Aftermath
The climax of the script involves the actual pulling of the road train, which weighs approximately half a million pounds. The team discusses the challenges, including the uphill incline and the need for the brakes to be locked to assist in the pull. Despite some initial hesitation, the road train begins to move, and the team expresses their excitement and relief. However, towards the end of the paragraph, there's a mishap as the brakes come loose, causing the road train to roll back downhill, highlighting the risks and challenges of their ambitious endeavor.
ðš The Catastrophic Event and Recovery
The script concludes with a dramatic event where Whistling Diesel's Chevy experiences a failure, resulting in a broken drive shaft. The team reflects on the outcome, with some expressing that they had predicted such an event due to the strain on the vehicle. Despite the setback, the team manages to recover and unload all the equipment safely back at their yard. They discuss the experience, acknowledging the difficulties and the learning opportunities from the challenge. The script ends on a humorous note, with a suggestion to check out the inside of a differential after Whistling Diesel's attempt, implying that it would reveal the extent of the damage.

of the redheaded bully on Christmas
store story that bullies the kid around
the redheaded bully is calling look at
him looks just like him do it take your
hat
off see look at
him hey Irrelevant for this but uh after
you want to pull it with the Rotator oh
it's all right I don't want to I don't
want to feel it yet I don't want to feel
the weight yet so is it going to is it
going to be able it be moved into the
center of the road fine yeah yeah you
think it it'll over steer it right into
the is that thing going to air up more
this trailer is it sagging the touching
the ground right now uh no shouldn't be
if it is we can we can drop this neck
more okay I'll just back a truck up
right here so is that one all the way
up which this tra this trailer no oh
okay hey I'm going to let you be the one
to pull it up cuz I don't want to feel
the weight yet so I don't want to ruin
the SC the the shot this is 68 this is
68,000 right here
[Music]
so oh boy dude we're going to snap that
thing you
think I hope not because all that weight
on those four these your these four
bolts are bigger than the ones you got
in your
truck if if it does we got welder so
that's a good point yeah yeah
we'll just start welding stuff
on I more than we already
have there it
is well looks like we did it folks maybe
as long as we can get it to roll look
out
[Applause]
400,000
lb creeping down old 66 with 400,000 lb
folks my Contraption Works yes let's see
if whistl and diesels
works we did our part are we taking B
look at that thing folks look at
it's a road train folks is that not the
coolest thing you've ever
seen
huh what do you guys think is it going
to pull it
uhhuh that that red
Chi right there folks my mom thinks that
that little red Chi is going to pull it
yeah what do you think Dad
I don't think it can get it to move you
don't think
so I don't know you're a little on level
ground almost level I don't know wait
till till Cody Gets behind the whe he's
not afraid to get on
it if it doesn't pull it I feel sorry
for that
truck what do you think I think he's a
little shy at 27,000 lb or rolling
resistance going to be some I think I
think he's ready to tear it
up what do you think you going to pull
it yeah what is this only a billion
pounds uh almost yeah it's like right on
the CP of a billion okay yeah almost a
billion pounds so I think we lock up the
brakes that'll help a lot yeah there we
can start by locking up the brakes make
it work for it let's have everybody uh
chalk all the wheels um that'll that'll
help us out and then you're all going to
need to just pull back
uh to to stop me from just going over
that mountain you should definitely get
some recer rck ropes on it with
everybody you should hop on the 40 just
keep going I'm I'm thinking I'm going to
go up through the mountain pass you're
just going to round it out and just hit
the 40 yep
yep I already called Dot and got um all
the permits I need so at least on this
highway as long as you don't go to New
Mexico should be really good it's uphill
a little bit so that's good so nobody
can say it's downhill it's uphill just a
little bit you got about that's right
folks it's steeper than it looks so it
is
uphill uphill uphill steeper than it
looks yeah I I got a fine the other day
cuz I was hauling uh some heavy
equipment through a school zone and uh
accidentally clipped the edge of the
school they find me
like that yeah I clipped the edge of the
school off and they they're like oh you
know you're unsafe and Reckless and
Communists I can't believe it communist
folks we're living amongst Communists
you know what I I impressed myself FKS
like you know I didn't think it was
going to work I'm going to be completely
honest whose idea was cutting all the
back of the semis yeah it's really cool
yeah me and Rod are the brains of
outfit there he is all right that's the
right-and man right here yeah that's it
it's our camera guy or are you fast am I
fast yeah are you fast fast runner the
fastest the fastest man alive i' never
been
beat oh my God that about killed you he
did it in slick leather sh Cowboy Bo
okay all right we should do a
race what race you can be your chuck if
you want we should do like we should do
a race from one end of the trailer to
the other that's a long that's like a
100 meter DH that's pretty far all right
whenever you're ready I'm down we'll do
it I got boots on too say you you look
like you're fast too I got boots on it
looks like more of a challenge than the
other
ones he's got some stride too he's
little taller than you think it has to
maintain is there a leak anywhere we
going to have to have it on oh I'm sure
there's leaks
everywhere No it should be all right and
if if I start spinning we can throw
those big blocks in the back with a
crane on the wrecker okay
sweet that truck up there he could boom
into the back of your truck
awesome babe
babe set the break set The Brak set The
Brak set theing Brak it was at this
moment that he knew he up you
think it has to maintain is there a leak
anywhere or you going to have to have it
on oh I'm sure there's leaks
everywhere
good we cut the air compressor off and
it led the lines out of our service line
so the brakes wouldn't set ah really
yeah that's what so do the brakes work
now yeah okay as long as we got that
running the valve open we're
good
well it's go time folks no turning back
now so the guys here in ashfork Arizona
at Murphy's diesel helped us put all
this together and you guys have a
considerable amount of equipment out
here um and we are on a stretch of road
in the middle of nowhere but they loaded
all this up so if you want to go through
this real quick what do we have here got
a TR 55 ton we got a 400 matu all right
so how much does that weigh that weighs
96,000 okay yeah got another half of a
semi another low booy another low booy
and the low boy weigh 22,000 lb a piece
okay 22,000 lb each KATU 155 okay and
this kamasu
bulldozer that looks familiar another
half of a semi Kenworth all right and
then we got a slide axle here with a 966
loader price around 67,000 all right so
78 89 another 90,000 got another truck
half another slide axle blade on it and
the blade weighs right around 40 so we
have roughly half a million pounds uh
and then we have the static friction and
we're also pulling it uphill uh the
brakes came loose and it actually rolled
back downhill to just to prove it set
the break set The Brak set The Brak set
theing Brak thanks to the guys at mury
diesel here they do heavy off-road
recovery and they're they're very good
at what they do they stack all this up
they stacked up half a million pounds
for us to pull in the middle of the
desert here so really good work they
just cut a bunch of semis in half and
they're like all we we got it all set up
I'm like oh my gosh the brakes are all
hooked up right the brakes are working
oh yeah we're good now we had a little
mishap R backwards we got that figured
out okay so the brakes are working never
mind that AR all right so I was just
making sure that the brakes are working
because when when we merge onto the
highway I want to be able to stop in
case there's kids in the school
zones
we're about 5 minutes away
from getting after it so stand by all
right we're going to pull half a million
PBS with our square body here uphill so
I forgot to specify yeah that is uphill
we're pulling on this we have four giant
piece of equipment and I'm going to I'm
going to just merge on of the highway
we're going to go to the mountain
[Music]
SP need more
weight we're going to let the air out
folks and drive it
out
oh yeah I like
that heck yeah all right you got keep on
going all right just settling down oh my
gosh oh my God
[Music]
[Music]
[Music]
I broke something up here too though
something look at the oil we blew
something else good thing we got a tow
truck
that camera held
on that camera how am I going to get
cold now how how am I going to get this
to the orphanage I have a dough truck
you do yeah I have a couple of let me
call so oh no oh my oh no it's dragging
all right oh
I knew you were going to do it I knew
you would hit
it what happened he Ram just work
through the side of your bed over there
you no he hit he hit your
bumper great
great they're just getting
some
they're on the
40 did you give him a business card well
folks whistling Diesel's Chevy didn't
survive Murphy's diesel
well whistl and Diesel's rear drive
shaft didn't survive Murphy's
decent I think it's safe to
say how'd you feel about that R just
what I
predicted you predicted that it I L told
somebody that it was going to do a
burnout with nothing in it and then
we're going to put weight in it and it's
going to blow a drive
shaft they pulled it like 20 ft though
work I think yeah it went well it was
pretty good if it wasn't for like as you
can see from here it's like I think
we're pulling it 3 ft uphill oh yeah
it's pretty uphill I think if we came
maybe a little bit further might might
not have been as difficult no it did
pretty good
though thank you very much man you it's
been a long couple of days folks you
know we did did a heck of a job whistle
and Diesel pulled that Dozer and he said
you know what I need more action we made
it happen we loaded all of our equipment
up we built a Road train we hauled it up
to Old 66 the Mother Road put it all
together almost lost it all in a
catastrophic event when the brakes gave
out here we are we're back at the yard
we got everything unloaded everything
went real well we didn't scratch a
corner on that bad lurry uh whistle and
Diesel T truck up a little bit we're
going to fix that it went great I did
great per usual reer Rick he did great
everyone else
mediocre next
question that's all I got I really I
mean you hit it all good job uh
so well that's it folks uh You Stay
classy whistle and
Diesel see you on the next one whistle
and
Diesel you ever wonder what the inside
of a differential looks like after
whistling Diesel's done with it check
that
out looks healthy
folks that's not supposed to be
there
