this is a very very very exciting and
nerve-wracking vlog Vlog today we are
officially starting our wedding dress
Journey oh my God I feel like I haven't
even let it fully sink in yet that
that's happening today doing some deep
breaths it's going to be a really
exciting day of course in true Remy
fashion I woke up this morning and
realized that I have my period as well
as I cut my knee in the shower it's
bleeding a lot and I just feel like
that's the perfect day to try on a bunch
of white dresses you know I expect
nothing else from myself though you know
I'm not shocked this stuff always
happens to me and we're going to move
forward with the most positive attitude
that we possibly can I'm giving myself 2
hours to get ready so I can just take my
time enjoy it soak it in I'm really
excited today to kick off the wedding
dress try on process I wanted to just
invite my family so originally I invited
my mom my dad my grandma and my aunt but
the drive is just a little bit too far
from my Grandma she's getting older and
long car rides and her just don't mix
anymore so she'll be there in spirit and
my aunt unfortunately called me last
night night she got sick so it's just
going to be my mom my dad and I which
honestly I kind of love would have loved
for my other family to be there too but
it's totally okay things happen we'll
definitely have to call in my aunt my
grandma and you know keep them involved
to some degree and then also Alicia's
going to come because she's going to
help me actually get some content which
is so sweet her I'm really excited and
it's honestly kind of funny because in a
few weeks Alicia my mom my dad and I are
going to go to Asia together and yes I
will be so honest I have been definitely
I'm going to use the word dreading the
idea of finding a wedding dress for
myself because I'm sure a lot of you
guys watching this can relate to me I've
been so lucky to be able to be a friend
and support for some of my friends who
have tried on their wedding dresses
which has been so much fun they all
looked so beautiful but I have to be
honest when I've gone with them there's
been a little thing in the back of my
mind thinking about how my experience
might be a little bit harder because my
dress size is not as small as theirs
from what I saw when I went with my
friends is they'd pick a dress off of
the floor and then immediately just
throw it on on and it would fit them
either like perfectly or it' be a little
bit too big so they clip it for them
very rarely was it ever too small for
them and when I would watch it be like
oh my God I mean they look amazing they
seriously like they said the bar so high
for me so I've also been a little bit
nervous because they're just so stunning
in everything and that's not how things
usually go for me if I'm just being
honest and then on top of that I've been
dreading the idea of being embarrassed
if you know it won't fit me or if I
can't even get it up my leg or anything
like that which I've talked about this
to you guys before but I just wanted to
be honest about the insecurities that
I've been having about you know the idea
of dress shopping and the showrooms that
I've been to and all those sorts of
things but the last time that I talked
to you guys about this a lot of you
suggested to just like call beforehand
to these showrooms and make sure they
have extensive sizing make sure they
have inclusive sizing which I agree is
very important for just a shop to have
in general and then also on top of that
for me to go into this experience
feeling comfortable and not feeling
overwhelmed and not feeling insecure
because this is a day where everybody
should feel the most beautiful their
best their most amazing and if a shop is
not offering sizes to make people feel
that way then we will not be shopping
there but yes I'm feeling a lot better
and I have to say I'm very excited about
the actual also sorry I'm only talking
with one hand because I'm literally
holding this bloody knee with the other
hand hopefully it's stopped it's been
bleeding for a long time hopefully in
the next 2 hours she'll stop yes today I
am actually very excited to start off
this journey with the shop that we're
going with an amazing company called a
zazi will actually reach out to me
they're actually sponsoring an Instagram
real for me which is so kind of them
they basically just wanted to invite me
into their showroom and I could bring
some people and I could try on dresses
and they're doing little snacks and
light bites and champagne and all the
things and I am just so grateful and
excited to start my journey with them
because they have an extensive size
range they have dresses that will fit me
they have dresses that will fit
everybody so I'm really excited to start
my journey here and what a wonderful way
to start and also have my family
involved so I obviously wanted to Vlog
this for you guys too and I wanted to
get ready but I feel like I have to wait
for my knee to stop bleeding so you know
what I'm going to do I have to keep it
elevated I'm going to pull my carryon
suitcase under the desk and I'll just
keep my leg elevated there hopefully
this will help okay leg up women in stem
all right so obviously also I'm trying
not to flash you right now obviously I
feel like I should do like Bridal hair
and makeup today or you know something
that I could at least imagine myself in
on the actual day I was thinking of
doing my normal makeup nothing too crazy
from the original looks that I always do
and then I was thinking for hair maybe
I'll do a half up half down just because
I love when I put my hair like that I
don't think I do that for the ceremony
but I think I could possibly do it for
the reception or maybe like an updo of
sorts I'm not sure but let me get to the
makeup I'm actually going to do a Tik
Tok getting ready with me for Tik Tok
because as you guys know I'm trying to
trying to do all the social media
platforms all the time but the makeup
look is going to be the same as it
always is so I'll come back to you guys
when I'm done with my makeup and then we
can work on hair okay guys I'm back the
makeup is done also while I was doing my
makeup I realized I didn't even give an
explanation I know traditionally dads
don't normally go to like wedding dress
try on fitting things but honestly for
me I know you can also pick and choose
and do whatever you want and for me I
really wanted to include my dad on this
first trial just because I love my
parents so much I'm really close with
them and I'm at this time in my life
which I'm sure you guys could put
together also with uh Alicia and I
tagging on to my parents trip to Korea
where I want to make memories with them
and you know life is short we don't know
how long we have and having him there
today something that I really wanted so
that's why he's going I forgot to give a
little backstory on that and also I'm
super lucky that my parents are an hour
away so I can include them on all these
like little things it's not like super
hard for them to get to us so yes that
is my little explanation makeup is done
I think it looks really good I did like
my normal makeup I did the Libre lashes
that's Karen or I love s e brand in
number three and then I did a little
it's kind of giving Festival but I think
it's cute this little like Patrick to
glitter on my inner Corner Patrick Tow
and it's giving luxury it's like this
white little Crystal glitter and I just
put the tiniest little bit on the inner
corners for my actual wedding I won't be
doing this with my eyes but I just
thought it was fun and now for hair I
think I'm going to do half up half down
so let me try and do that and I will
come back I don't know where my voice
went by the way hello okay guys hairwise
I put it into a half up half down I
think I got it looking pretty good it's
nice and Slick I already filled in my
little front areas with some of my Color
Wow powders so they don't look as sparse
I think it actually looks it looks
decent I'm just going to add like a nice
loose wave around just to give it a
little bit of texture and then I got the
got to be ultra glue Invincible styling
gel I got this from Target and whenever
Amanda does a half up half down
hairstyle on me my calic in the back
looks crazy hopefully it looks okay so
what she does is she'll just grab a
little piece of hair from the back just
super small a tiny little strip and then
she'll take this gel get this piece
super jellified like completely coated
in gel that might have been a little too
much actually I've never done this yet
but you know how normally hold on let me
wash my hands now you know how normally
you take like a little strip of hair and
then you wrap it around and use bobby
pins the bobby pins will sometimes show
and it won't always look good so Amanda
said if I just use this gel and then
just wrap it around itself you don't
need any bobby pins and it can just like
stay in place on itself wait that worked
it looks so good okay life hack for the
curls I'm just going to use my big one
and 1/2 in barrel and add some curls all
the way around and then that should be
it that took me like 10 minutes not even
all right let me add my curls in and
I'll be back it looks so good okay guys
hair is done I'm just letting the curls
cool before I brush them out so they
have a little bit more of a wave to them
on the nails by the way in case you're
wondering I did one coat of bubble bath
and then we used OPI it's a boy for the
baby blue French part it looks so cute
okay I need to leave in like 15 20
minutes or so but before then I wanted
to eat some food so that I don't get
hangry and I have enough energy to get
me through today I was in a rush though
so I just ordered some Chick-fil-A I got
the grilled chicken sandwich and then a
side of fries always of course I love
their fries M I love their diet lemonade
so I got that also I was able to order
the actual like side sauces like in
bottles we got honey mustard Chick-fil-A
and Polynesian what am I feeling I think
I'm feeling oh there's a honey roasted
barbecue one a little packet I think I'm

then for shoes I just got these and

it off because we've been traveling so
much but now we're back home and we're
going to go grocery shopping and then
tomorrow is Holden's first birthday
party so we need to go get his birthday
gift we need to get that all ready but
rule of thumb though never go grocery
shop excuse me I was just going to hang
this up somewhere I don't want to lay
down I thought you were going to look
inside and see the dresses no my heart
just skipped a beat rule of thumb never
go grocery shopping on an empty stomach
or when you're hungry I'm also on my
period so I am ravenous today so I went
to the garage and I got this out of the
freezer it's a little Korean I think
it's like a fish cake on a stick I also
can't read Korean so I don't know what
it says or like how to reheat it I'm
just going to pop it in the microwave
for like a minute and a half and see how
this goes I'm going to add a little hole
for some ventilation M it smells very
shrimpy oh no it smells like like
seafood and there's a squid on it so I
think there's squid in here all right
I'm going to microwave that for like a
minute and a half and then see how that
is I'm going to give Cal a haul of
everything that was given to me oh my
God you guys that experience was truly I
I could not have asked for a better
experience every single person was so
kind I was definitely like kind of weird
and nervous in the beginning because
you're like putting on a show like you
walk out in these big dresses and
everyone's just like standing there and
like clapping or filming you and you're
just like yay so I was really nervous at
the beginning but then after a few
dresses I feel like I got the hang of it
everyone was so nice they were so sweet
to my parents they got gifts for my mom
and gifts for Alicia and I and it was
just it was so so sweet and I honestly
don't even know what they gave me so
let's do a little haul of everything
first off they gave us some flower
bouquets did anyone cry everybody cried
a I think actually I don't know if my
dad said it's here but my dad my dad was
so funny I walked out in the second
dress he goes oh they're all the same
color he was being silly though so first
they gave us a couple bouquet of flowers
which I'm going to throw these in water
and I'm going to bring them to Holden's
birthday party tomorrow because why not
you know use them as Decor Cal look what
else they gave us and apparently these
freeze really well so we're going to
keep them in the freezer a they're
cookies with our faces on them we what
kind of cookies like those Royal sugar
cookie I love these royal icing we got
two variations of photos the ring and a
sweet hug a tender kiss okay it smells
like straight up Seafood in here now
here we go fish cake on a
stick w wow if you like fish cake it's
bomb I love fish cake personally it
might not be everybody's favorite
texture oh also you could probably air
fry it and make it a little crispy I
like it m and it's got 11 G of protein
or maybe 13 g of protein I honestly I'm
not sure it's still a little Frozen she
needs a little longer that was some
theie just dip it in so we got the
cookies and then for other stuff that
they gave me I truly I have no idea
what's even in here I felt so spoiled
and like a princess today and it was
just so much fun and I can't believe I
get to do all these fun things like

honestly guys I am eating up all the
bride stuff though like I had a brand
send me like a little makeup bag with

I love it so much I mean I can only wear

Bride on there very cute they gave me oh
my God I love a veil so so much a little
veil bow all these things will be coming
on The Bachelorette trip what on The
Bachelorette trip there's so much stuff
in here oh my God this little purse I
I'm going to be so annoying a purse with
more more veils and Bows I'm going to
share this stuff with Kaye too for her
Bachelorette trip so that she can feel
spoiled as well h a sleeping mask I'll

going to go downstairs and lay on the

know I've been go go go go go go go go
go lately so I'm super excited to just
have a little night in excited to relax
and then this weekend we've got got a
lot of stuff to do so I'll get to that
when the time comes for tonight though
we'll just lay and relax I also when I'm
on my period crave meat and iron and so
we're going to have some cram barbecue
for dinner tonight so super excited

Cal just got home and he's so cute I

he got first up we got Holden's first
birthday card and we just got them a
Target gift card as like the main part
of the gift so they can just buy you
know if he needs Di ERS or formula or
clothes whatever here's his card how

sweetest one-year-old by far happy
birthday I'm going to sob he's so cute
he gives these to me and he goes they
didn't have any unwrapped ones but I'll
unwrap all of them for you he is so good
to me you know normally I take the time
to like eat the chocolate around and do
the whole thing but right now I just
like need a regular bite I didn't ask
for these but he got these for me
anyways and I love these dark dark
chocolate Milano cookies ooh double dark
chocolate I like to dip these in milk
and let them get all soggy and then suck
