hi guys oh my god when you are watching

this I can't believe I'm finally saying

this when you're watching this Vlog we

will be married holy oh my God it's

still not fully processing for me I

don't think in the slightest so we're at

the venue it is Friday currently April

5th and we're about to do our rehearsal

where we're going to walk through the

steps of like walking down the aisle the

dogs coming up with the Rings doing the

handoffs with like vow books and

microphones and such just so we kind of

have an idea of the flow of the day I

cannot believe this weekend is finally

here I truly cannot believe it like

we're going to be here in 48 hours doing

it for real and I don't even have words

to describe I can't believe it's finally

here I can't believe it's finally

happening I feel like a part of me for

this whole process has been like oh it's

like so far away like it's in so many

more months and then another part of me

is like oh my God this is happening in

like the next freaking minute and now

it's actually happening in the next

freaking minute oh my God I'm also so

excited to be able to speak much more

candidly about like what's actually

happening on the real timeline because

now like there's nothing left like it's

happening it's real and we're about to

get married oh my God oh my God okay so

let's get started with the rehearsal

walk through it this really feels like

marking the start of the wedding weekend

my parents flew in yesterday my cousins

and aunt are on a light currently right

now we're seeing them for dinner later

this evening also my son just went

behind a cloud and I feel like this is

the start of the weekend like it's

officially begun oh my God holy I

cannot believe this weekend is happening

also God this venue is so beautiful I'll

just never be over it every time I come

here this is the third time that we are

here and I've got Mia with me the

planner our officient my parents who

finally get to see everything and I

can't believe it's happening

ever this is the cocktail area that you

guys have already seen but now I'm just

like imagining all the places that we're

going to be able to like take photos and

videos and stuff too like this is such a

beautiful vignette against this building

and these stairs the bridal Suite is up

in there so literally in 48 hours we

going to be getting ready for the

wedding oh my God oh my God are we

getting married this weekend are we

to be so handsome hi guys home from

rehearsal I feel really good about where

things are at obviously you guys know I

am an anxious type A need to plan as

much in advance as possible and so I

feel like that was great for me to like

be in the space again so soon to when

we're going to be there for real doing

it on the big day for real for real oh

my God oh my God oh my God oh my God I

have no other words oh my God also cut

my finger today not super timely it's

like not really bad but I'm about to

touch so many white things as I pack and

I was like now is not the time to be

bleeding around literally white things

in every direction just white white

white white things everywhere so here's

the plan for the rest of the weekend so

rehearsal check that off tonight I've

got family coming over just for like a

casual dinner and then tomorrow tomorrow

we're meeting Jeremy's aunt and uncle

and when I say we obviously Jeremy has

met his aunt and uncle before I am

meeting Jeremy's aunt and uncle tomorrow

for the first time in the morning and

then in the evening we have our welcome

party so we've got a family dinner first

for our families to all meet and then

everyone else joins and so it's like an

everyone gets to come for drinks and

dessert and the venue is so cute I have

also hired a content creator for both

Saturday and Sunday to be able to cover

everything so that I can try to have as

much vloggy footage as possible so I'll

probably be doing like periodic

check-ins I'm still trying to like find

the perfect balance in terms of

capturing the entire weekend because I

don't want to make it feel like a

production and take away from the

overall day but obviously like you guys

have been with me through this whole

planning process and now it's finally

all happening and unfolding and so I

want to be able to bring you along with

me as much as possible guys we're

getting married is essentially what I'm

saying so welcome dinner and welcome

party is tomorrow night I'm so excited I

love love love love love my dress I saw

a picture of Olivia kpo wearing it on

her Bachelorette and I was like I will

take one of those plays and so that is

exactly what I did so wearing that

tomorrow um the venue is so cute there a

bowling alley it's a whole private space

in a hotel in Hollywood and The Vibes

are excellent we didn't have to do any

Decor literally no florals I think

there's a welcome sign and that's it so

it wasn't like crazy too on the expense

side which was really nice because I am

in fact incredibly over budget and I

don't love that for me but that's okay

one of the most common tips that I've

gotten from other Brides is that having

that welcome party helps especially if

you have a lot of guests coming in from

out of town being able to have those

conversations the night before being

like Oh my God so happy to see you thank

you so much for coming how is your new

job like saw you adopted a new dog how

was that vacation like being able to

have all of those conversations the

night before I feel like is just like so

great and then when you see them again

the next day on the actual wedding day

it's just like more about the

celebration and being able to celebrate

Al together so anyways I think we went

into this hesitant to you know do a

whole another event I get over simulated

incredibly easily and my social battery

is definitely not as long range as

Jeremy's and so I was a little nervous

about that but I'm incredibly excited

and we also made the decision to not

have anyone stay at our house that we

can have just like anytime that we have

downtime we can be using it to do erands

or like any kind of work stuff and

packing and prepping and maybe just a

little bit of carcass time on the couch

watching Tik talk to decompress so that

was also a decision that I highly

recommend if you've got people and

family and friends coming in from out of

town because then you're not like

picking and choosing who can stay with

you like it's just like there just no

one so yeah that is kind of the plan for

tomorrow and all of the welcome things

and then Sunday obviously is the big day

it is a full day of Affairs and I truly

like I cannot believe the weekend is

finally here I cannot believe it so we

toured hummingbird nest Ranch the venue

in May of last year and I remember that

day being so sweltering hot and

unexpectedly hot because it's about 30

minutes north of like the rest of LA and

that was the day we also made the

decision that like we originally were

thinking May wedding and we swapped over

to April because I would so much rather

be a little bit too cold than a little

bit too hot and sweaty like in terms of

hair and makeup and your guests being

uncomfortable like you can rent heaters

in a space in the evening to make the

space a little warmer but like you can't

rent air conditioning for an outdoor

venue anyways it is a little bit cooler

than I ideally would like it to be but

I'm just so happy that it's not raining

because also renting tents to cover a

fully outdoor venue also incredibly

expensive so the cost to do heaters is

so much more ideal than doing a massive

tent if it were to rain and also I know

it's supposed to be good luck but like

we're totally Outdoors ceremony cocktail

hour reception photos totally Outdoors

so I am incredibly relieved thank God

for pretty solid weather this weekend

okay what else what else oh my God guys

we're getting married we're getting

married we are getting married I

cannot believe it I cannot believe it oh

I got a really cute coat last minute

again because it's like the weather has

just shaped up to be a little bit cooler

let me show you it is very cute again

just so much white everywhere this is

what it looks like the feathers are kind

of everywhere so I got to give

her like a good Shake Outdoors but it's

also the perfect cropped length to go

with my second

dress this is part of the second look if

I do need it okay so I think I'm going

to start packing things up and getting

organized in a little mini suitcase I do

still have obviously our bin of all the

emergency things for the kit and this

has been so great cuz I've just been

tossing things in as I remember but I

want to definitely still bring like I

think maybe just a carry-on suitcase

it's probably fine I'm thinking because

the dresses have their own like garment

bags so like I'm really just and then I

have this thing that can hold a bunch of

so yeah I think a carryon suitcase

is going to be fine it's really just

like slippers and little things and

little things and by little things I

mean this extra clip and extension if we

want to do a little more hair for the

look which I'm also so excited to show

you all of the hairstyles oh my God so

what I'm thinking in terms of Vlog is

that this will all go into a vlog of the

rehearsal and packing and the welcome

dinner and the welcome event and I'm

hoping to have this up for you guys like

on Monday or Tuesday literally the day

after the next day after the wedding

actually happens and then I've got some

other Vlog stuff separated out into a

behind the scenes Vlog of the actual

wedding day I've got all of the footage

also from the day that we said Yes to

the Dress with my mom and all my friends

and so we're going to do a dress reveal

with all my girlfriends and so that'll

also be a vlog so I think I've got a

really fun like content plan so we

really get like a full 360 behind the

scenes of the wedding as if you were

there with me because again oh my God

welcome party night day night happening

as of so soon happening on this day of

April 6th oh my God okay so I want to

give you a very real breakdown of how

I'm feeling I'm sure that there are past

Brides or Brides to be that have felt a

similar sentiment but not to be negative

I'm feeling um a little

murderous no okay that's too far that's

too far but I genuinely I'm so

overwhelmed and a little lot lot

stressed uh actively by the sheer amount

of texts that I've gotten that the

answer to every single one of these

texts is did you read the wedding

website did you read the website did you

look at the website did you happen to

maybe go on the website that has every

single detail and every single FAQ that

you could possibly think of did you

possibly just go on the website please

please for the sake of my sanity did you

read the website oh my God oh my God I'm

coping with humor I'm someone who I

rarely leave someone on red via text and

so like I feel an immense amount of

guilt if I don't text someone back but I

am nearing the levels

of I I I I just can't did you read the

wedding website please for the love of

God did you read the wedding website and

like some of the questions that people

have asked me are like is it going to be

cold tonight I'm like did you open the

Weather app is literally more effort to

send me a text asking about the weather

tonight and the area of the city that

you also live in than to open the

Weather app and so anyways I'm feeling

incredibly overwhelmed by the sheer

amount of stupid questions I've been ask

and I love from the bottom of my heart

and I am so grateful to all of our

friends and family who have cleared

their weekend to celebrate with us I

truly am but please for the love of God

website please please for the sake of my

sanity pleas please read the

website oh my God so anyways that's the

unfiltered version of what I'm feeling

currently and I feel like you guys only

deserve the realness of how everything

is actually going aside from that

everyone has prepped me well enough to

be like things are going to go wrong

people will last minute drop out and um

check and check those would have been

backward check marks with my left hand

but check and check so kind of like the

most pressing and serious thing that's

gone wrong is that my mom mom DIY who we

know queen of Fitness can do so many

pull-ups with literal 25 lb weights

hanging off of her waist with a chain

has what we think slipped a disc in her

back late last Sunday night and I know

that the Canadian Healthcare System gets

a lot of but we got so lucky with

the care that she's been able to get

just like the past week so before they

got to LA on Thursday between Monday and

Wednesday she was in and out of the ER

they did like a full ambulance transport

because she just like fully could not

move whatsoever she saw a doctor she got

an x-ray she's had an MRI ordered she's

seen two doctors outside of that she's

gone to two chiropractors for different

assessments and treatments they were

able to rebook their flights with a live

flat SE and that was truly like the key

in getting her here she's still in a ton

of pain and she's on pain meds she's on

nerve specific pain meds and she's also

on an anti-inflammatory and nothing

really seems to be helping so it is

probably the least ideal timing of the

decade for this to be happening but

she's in pretty good spirits and is

managing but it definitely is not ideal

it just is so upsetting to see her in so

much pain on a weekend where she should

be celebrating so that's one of the

biggest things that has gone not as

planned and I like literally my heart

just like freaking breaks for her

thinking about all this what else has

gone wrong we've had two sets of guests

who had awful just like out of nowhere

tragic unexpected deaths I guess another

thing is that Jeremy's mom is not going

to be attending the wedding he addressed

this on the last podcast episode I think

around minute 37 if you literally are

just interested in hearing that portion

of it cuz I don't want to speak for him

on the situation but that is also very

unfortunate and very sad and she will

not be there on this day to celebrate so

we're down a mom and we are up one

injured mom and that's kind of the mom

standing right now I feel like I had

like a little stress meltdown last night

but hopefully that was the end of it and

now that things are just about to start

unfolding and all the planning will pay

off I can just be in the moment and take

a deep breath and enjoy everything as it

happens so Jeremy's aunt and uncle are

headed over right now for coffee and

then hair and makeup is coming over to

get ready for the welcome party later

this afternoon I've got a little bit of

final packing to do I'm going to finish

off my vows get those printed put them

in The Vow book and just get ready for

tomorrow God oh my God also we took the

middle piece out of our couch right now

and it does look quite nice it does feel

quite adult to be having a regular boo

tomato I will say the dogs don't really

know what to do themselves they're like

oh so we only get one cushion each I

don't really understand I've got digo

here who is doing the cutest little

snuggle with the squish Malo as a pillow

that I've ever seen in my entire life I

could die but yeah without this little

middle piece here they really don't know

what to do with themselves like zooming

in a u they're just not used to it

they're just not used to it so anyways

at rehearsal yesterday he's so good he's

so good he looks so small right now so

ever looked so good in my entire life

look because I'm like do we just do this

again because I don't know if I've ever

looked better anyways I have to show you

AOS did my makeup and my new friend

Jordan did my hair and it looks

incredible she's a bridal specific hair

stylist came all the way from San Diego

on hopefully it's focusing the way that

my little like blonde highlights are

peeking through the little mini Pony

breathe the most out of all of the days

hoopies on here that are very cute

they're kind of like a rounded rectangle

shape and then just a little crystally

thing here and then the little mini hoop

and then I really only have just this

matching one on the side and that's it

hi guys oh my gosh the welcome dinner

last night was so much fun that venue

was perfect so we were at the Hollywood

Roosevelt Hotel and the little venue

within it was called the spare room and

so we had that cute little bowling alley

we did our little dinner and then it was

just like the perfect size for the

amount of people people that we had I

feel like if a room is too big it feels

like awkward and there's like too much

space it was like the perfect balance of

feeling like it was full and high energy

but like not too crowded to the point

that like you're sweating oh my God also

there's so much happening right now

hello hello so last night a total hit I

feel like again I experienced the same

thing as I did at the engagement party

where I was one so dehydrated because I

was forgetting to just like drink water

and two I kept losing my drink so I

ended up like not drinking very much

which is good because I woke up today

feeling refreshed definitely didn't have

the most restful sleep because just like

so excited and so nervous but I'm full

of energy today because today is wedding

day holy I can't believe it I'm

going to wrap this Vlog here start a new

one for a whole behind the scenes of the

wedding I'm the first one here obviously

between all of my friends I'm here with

my mom Jeremy comes a little later and I

get to see all the beginnings of like

the setup which is so fun it looks

incredible the way this face is going to

be transformed I'm so excited so okay I
