Trump Left In TEARS After Judge DESTROYED Him With Wrong Decision!

and we have some breaking news now in

Donald Trump's Federal classified

documents in case the judge in Florida

has indefinitely postponed this trial

delay delay delay is the name of the

game for Donald Trump this is Trump's

primary strategy to keep himself free of

criminal charges in the mara Lago

documents case prior to the November

2024 US presidential election and it

seems to be working quite well in his

favor but just how far can Donald Trump

stretch his luck

that this classified documents case

against Donald Trump it's too

complicated and there's too much to do

right now that she has to work through

and so she's taken the trial date off of

the calendar instead laid out a plan

through essentially the end of July to

handle other issues in this case largely

around the use of classified documents

remember this is a case charging Donald

Trump with the mishandling of nearly

three dozen National Security records

Donald Trump's legal team was somehow

able to argue that dozens of National

Security records including nuclear

secrets found at the mar Lago estate

were his own personal private property

and this incredibly has convinced judge

eileene Cannon to go along with a

strategy of delaying the case from

proceedings she gets through all of the

other stuff she has to do in this case

that's when she will be announcing when

the trial will take place the bottom

line here Jake is exceeding inly

unlikely uh almost to the point where it

may be an impossibility for Donald Trump

to go to trial in this Florida

classified documents case before the

November election will prosecutor Jack

Smith find a way to have judge Eileen

Cannon remove from the mara Lago case if

Jack Smith is able to successfully lay

the groundwork for the removal ask this

might just happen but we have to

remember something like that takes time

and must be done by the book what we are

seeing now just in the last few weeks

are glimmers of what it looks like when

the courts don't

hold So Yesterday federal judge alen

Cannon a trump appointee who first made

name for herself an egregious ruling on

his behalf in the documents case she

announced that she was indefinitely

postponing Donald Trump's criminal trial

for stealing top secret government

documents and she did so and this is the

important part without much of a legal

justification at all

furthermore it appears that judge Canon

is shielding herself from scrutiny by

the appeals court through her issuing a

paperless orders which are basically

simple orders without any

documentation by using paperless orders

there's really not much for jacksmith to

base an appeal on in my opinion it comes

off as a form of cover so that if the

need arises she can eventually argue

that her orders were misunderstood

misinterpreted or taken out of context

judge Canon wouldn't have the benefit of

this cover if every word were in print

issuing paperless orders is a smart move

by judge Cannon because it makes a RIT

of mandemus essentially a legal slap on

the wrist that much more difficult for

Jack Smith to execute it also makes it

magnitude harder to get her removed at

this point I highly suspect that judge

Canon's team is being coached behind the

scenes by much more competent

folks Smith asked the judge to hurry up

and rule on what is one of team Trump's

most Brazen claims that the documents

Trump hoarded in Mar Lago in a bathroom

and a bedroom and a basement documents

containing some of this nation's

most secret and protected National

Security Secrets actually belonged

rightfully to Trump because of the

presidential records act or the

P furthermore the way judge Canon

handles things related to the maralago

case were any motion from the defense

gets a hearing a statute of repose for

the prosecution then a hearing to cover

the previous hearing and then a long

wait before issuing a paperless ruling

almost always benefits the

defense come a time when he tries to get

her removed from the case but at this

point that's premature what Jack Smith

knows tonight though is that it's very

possible that he may not be able to

bring either one of his Federal cases

against former president Trump before

the election and the election is a

significant point on on the calendar

because if Trump is reelected he can

have Jack Smith and both of his cases

dismissed we can speculate that until

now Jack Smith has been avoiding an

attempt to have judge Canon removed from

the case because it would have made a

trial before the election less likely

but now a trial before the election is

virtually impossible whether she stays

on the case or

not given the severity and widespread

consequences of Trump's case judge

Canon's excuse of I've got a bunch of

other es to rule on oopsie to delay the

trial seems to be gross incompetence at

best and blatantly corrupt at worst I

mean it's not like there's massive and

timely public interest in finding out

whether or Trump is guilty of his

charges before the presidential election

right judge Canon's delays combined with

her prior actions especially when she is

essentially acted as Trump's own lawyer

granting him injunctive relief as his

own lawyers never even asked for makes

it really seem like Jack Smith has a

case to bring against her here I'm not a

lawyer but it certainly seems possible

she is opting not to settle open

questions before her which is her choice

I mean that's her choice and then

pointing out the fact that they are not

settled as the reason why she has to

further delay don't take my word for it

here's the New York Times in a news

article writing it up put it quote while

judge Canon stated reason for pulling

off putting off the trial indefinitely

was that a large number of legal issues

remain up in the air she never mentioned

that she herself helped allow the Log

Jam of motions to pile up when it was

reported that two of her clerks quit in

the middle of their clerk ships I knew

that her use of stall tactics would

happen the I can't keep up with my work

excuse was probably hatched to get out

of the spotlight and in the hopes that

she could keep her head down until it

all blew over keep in mind Federal clerk

ships are fairly prestigious and hard to

acquire and they're not the type of job

that people quit halfway through the

fact that she had two of her clerks quit

on her definitely raises some eyebrows

either they thought that working for her

could be detrimental to the resume or

they genuinely didn't agree with what

she was doing Canon is by herself as an

inexperienced judge in the Fort Pierce

Courthouse a satellite courthouse where

there is no senior judge there there is

no you know adult supervision where

someone is going to take her by the hand

and help with some of these complex

matters she's on her own and also some

of her law clerks have left for a

variety of reasons so this thing has

been beset with delays although what

really worries me is that I'm sure judge

Canon will have seen attempts to remove

her coming from a mile away let's assume

Jack Smith has an airtight case for

getting her removed from the maralago

case it's still completely unclear how

long that process in and of itself would

take

then assuming that judge Canon does get

removed you can bet that it'll be yet

another much longer process to find

another Court to try this case in I've

got to give it to judge Canon though

she's already done her job as far as

Trump's Army of minions is concerned

this right here is basically the real

life version of do what you must I've

already won for now it seems to me that

Trump has cashed in on his appointment

of Judge Cannon as she prevented a

felony conviction in the mara Lago

documents case before the November

election

so he stands a better chance of winning

the presidency oh and keep in mind judge

Cannon was appointed by Trump after he

lost in 2020 talk about a last minute

appointment did she offer any

explanation other than that it would be

a lot of

work uh well I think not just a lot of

work but what she's saying is that it's

a lot of really tricky and complex work

and part of this is frankly that the

former president again as Scott

mentioned filed Lots and lots of motions

so she does have a lot to go through in

this case now having said that um there

are cases where there is a very heavy

and aggressive motion practice and I

still haven't seen a situation where the

judge says the best thing to do is take

it off calendar however we have to keep

in mind that this isn't the only felony

conviction that has happened before the

November election as Donald Trump is

also on trial for 34 felony counts of

false ifying business records in the

first degree at the moment while the

Sixth Amendment of the United States

Constitution guarantees a speedy trial

to the defendant this trial clearly is

not that I have to say at this point I

think the headlines might as well read

judge appointed by defendant still

hasn't recused delays case again I mean

there should definitely be a law against

a judge being appointed by the defendant

we never needed it before but we sure as

hell do now you know all of Donald

Trump's attempts to subvert and sabotage

the Democratic process to steal the last

election

2020 overall the system held I mean

maybe barely but it held when push came

to shove the vast majority of people

involved in the election and

institutions stared down a novel attempt

to destroy the rule of law and they did

the right thing system might have bent

but it didn't break and while there's a

Code of Ethics that judges are expected

to follow in my opinion the problem now

is that we have in the United States a

large cohort of Judges specifically

appointed to achieve political goals and

these judges have little regard for

ethics or operating in good faith and

now we're seeing how poor the

enforcement mechanisms actually are is

this inevitably what happens when the

rules rely on the players in the game

operating in good faith the rule of law

which we talk about a lot on the show

and on this network and venerate is

really only as good as the people who

are executing it in good faith

I mean to be clear the world over there

are plenty of autography from Egypt

under cc to Russia under Putin that have

laws statutes lawyers judiciaries bar

associations their version of it they

have all that stuff they just execute

the law in a way that essentially

supports a predetermined outcome I'm

still flabbergasted by how a judge can

actually be nominated by the defendant

in a case I mean it's absolutely and

completely ridiculous if if you stop to

think about it in the code of conduct

for United States judges an appearance

of impropriety means that even if a

judge believes they can be impartial if

there are circumstances that could lead

a person to reasonably question their

impartiality it could be appropriate for

recusal a lot of the reasons why there

have been so many delays have been her

own decisions to give a lot of

difference to Donald Trump which is odd

because you have someone like judge can

who previously was an a USA an assistant

us attorney a federal prosecutor uh but

she has bent over backwards for this

defendant imagine this if someone was on

trial and the defendant saved the

judge's life or killed their dog a

reasonable person would question the

judge's ability to be impartial when

combined with the rulings it just seems

ridiculous on all levels that I just

don't understand why more people aren't

talking about this there are what 19

other judges not appointed by the

defense defendant in the 11th Circuit

Court of Appeals who could have been

selected for such an important case on

the flip side if a defendant somehow

caused harm to a judge I would also be

asking for the same consideration of

impartiality for the benefit of the

defendant in any case for justice to

Prevail there simply shouldn't be any

direct connection between the defendant

and the judge

whatsoever and we've seen this before

with judge Canon because even before

there was an indictment in this case

judge Canon rejected herself and put a

hold on the case and granted the special

Master request even going beyond what

Trump had asked for because Trump had

asked for the special Master but didn't

ask for the whole case to be stopped uh

but she put a hold on the investigation

which is really unusual I've never seen

before a judge get involved in a

prosecutor's investigation this is

before any charges were filed what is

Justice anymore allowing Donald Trump's

case to be handled by so many judges

that he himself appointed to Lifetime

jobs is straight out of a dystopian

Nightmare and a lot of very smart

accomplished attorneys and legal experts

again with different ideological

backgrounds have said they've simply

never seen anything quite like what

Canada is doing by so transparently

putting her thumb on the proverbial

scale to delay and and thereby benefit

the man who put her on the bench in the

first

place as likely as Taylor Swift would

write another song If she had another X

judge Canon would be first in line for

Supreme Court if Trump gets

reelected at what point can we just call

them out on it when a judge clearly

wants the next Republican Supreme Court

position and they'll just kiss as many

asses and bend as many laws as possible

for them to get there judge Cannon if

you're watching this just know we're

watching you

too sometimes I can't help but imagine

that Germany was the same way in the

1930s life was normal until it wasn't

we're slowly but surely heating up the

pot until it boils let's just hope that

our grandkids will look back upon all of

this one day and they won't believe how

ridiculous these days

are having said all this what do you

any other criminal cases Donald Trump is

facing and yet judge Canon is able to

derail it completely should judge Canon
