was a like remodeled house boat at the

boat ramp and I thought I would check it

out and see if I could maybe book a

much and we've restored it over the last

put it through the overnight stay which

off today is we had the generator up

there and last time we water tested it

taxes that's terrifying we put six giant

lights around the boat and I'm pretty

sure every house on the lake is going to

boat up we're about 10 yards from the

here my buddy fishing with Smalls has

hit me up and he's told me that there

are crappie by the boatloads and they

are sitting 5 to 10 yards off the bank

which is a good thing we've only fished

2 hours we act like we've done a lot

ofday we haven't done nothing okay the

crappie are feeding up we typically

don't go after crappie but people are

catching tons of them and slabs we have

rigged up small crappie jigs I'm

thinking if we sit here long enough and

and gravy can keep our pie hole shut

long enough which is very tough for us

to do I'm thinking we can just jig right

off the edge of the boat catch

favorite freshwater fish to eat m it's

smoke I don't know if that's a good or a

bad thing that one dude that one was

right on the Rocks I didn't even reel it

like just cast close as you can to the

rocks it hit I looked my line was just

ripping to the

left crap not going to lie I was kind of

hoping the first fish in here would be

like a 12 pounder but that just gives us

room for growth sometimes you have to

start small and get

we got one little crappie I don't know

if it's enough to cook or not but we got

have nothing on the books but to

complete the first catch and cook in the

boat and I will say for the first trip

in that bit it is a pretty good trip to

go out learn the boat we definitely have

some ballast issues some modifications

that need to be made before we hit the

road I've been really impressed with how

the transom is holding up and the boat

itself we've hit waves for the first

time today just ripping wide open

the we spent so much time building up to

going camping on the boat for the first

time and we caught too crappy or crappy

and I just don't feel like that's the

way that I want the shindig to get

started off so we had some major issues

I don't know if you guys could tell very

well but the boat

itself is a

sailboat done a little bit of thinking

here probably a little too much thinking

and if we want to use this boat a little

bit abnormally compared to other small

house boats we need to give it the same

asset that a fishing boat would

have so I picked up a Mota it is a Trava

it's got spotl got the eye poet I got

one of those necklaces with the whole

remotes on it look like a 60y old out

there there's a 50y old Mota anchor

system on the very front of the bow 3 or

4 lbs it's like a kayak anchor we could

replace it but I think the gears in this

thing have just said dude we work 50

years and we're taking time off nobody's

telling me what to do anymore we're

going to pull that off and and we're

going to run or power everything down

through the same way that this thing's

run through the front of the
