place that started this whole YouTube

Journey 9 years ago welcome to Hawaii

our time in Paradise is continuing after

a three-part series exploring the Cook

Islands and now we are here on the

island of aahu for a very special reason

but before we get to that as always we

have an adventure to tackle we're

crossing the International Date Line

twice in the next 48 hours we went

backwards to go forwards at the end of

the day once it's done it's done a what

a nice way to see it all it's so

beautiful a this is so nice this is like

the best shave I I've ever had I love

when you when you're in Hawaii and you

just hear the RO the about it's so

special to be back here once again

this is by far the earliest we've woken

up here in the Cook Islands and we

haven't had a single Sunset of course

cuz it is the wet season but sunrises is

where it's at at the moment so beautiful

pinks lavender color but we got to head

to the airport it's so beautiful okay I

have a riddle for you guys you ready you

have coffee on a Tuesday morning 6 hours

you're having lunch on a Wednesday and

then you live your Thursday all day you

go to bed at night on Thursday you sleep

for 9 hours and you wake up to Thursday

morning who am

I someone flying from the cook Island to

Australia then all the way to

Hawaii okaya we're crossing the

International Date Line twice in the

next 48 hours going back a day losing a

day going forward time is complicated

we've honestly loved our time here in

the Cook Islands the locals are so

welcoming to families and it honestly

feels sad saying goodbye after spending

an incredible 9 days here taking in the

island

life so we now saying goodbye to one

beautiful island to head to our big

island in Australia we leaving at 9 a.m.

on a Tuesday and we are somehow arriving

at midday on a Wednesday and it's a 6our

train and I was imagining like us right

everything's on the train and it's like

in 30 seconds the Train's leaving you

until we can start ditching the prams

and the baby bed cuz it look so much cuz

it's pram pram baby bed that's what's

adding it all righty I'm going to jump

in yes we know you can fly from Cook

Islands directly to Hawaii which cuts

down almost half the trip however one

that flight only operates on a Sunday

and it was Monday when we left so we

would have had to pretty much

accommodate for an entire extra week in

the Cook Islands and two it also means

we could book our turn flights in and

out of Hawaii which generally it's

cheaper to book it in and out so yes I

realized we went backwards to go

forwards but that's our

reasoning thanks to jet star having

affordable and direct routes in and out

of Australia to Hawaii it makes it so

easy for us to head to the US

hi also because we like changed his

fight last minute we're not sitting next

to together which I think is the

first

still we get there

oh think I've slept so hard to complain

literally about

so this island is just a little bit

bigger than Cook Islands I'm not like a

in the same room it's at that point now

where you feel like you're in to dream

because you've been on the plane all

feels like Hawaii oh my gosh okay the

view we have to go see the view oh

here for the one night staying at a very

goal today is to go to every port this

hotel There is five of them where

Paradise I think is Hunter's favorite H

cuz the cold water Waits you up feeling

surreal now being back here and she's

now and we have another little one with

me and J lying up here in like 9 years

Hawaii is definitely a guilty pleasure

for us we want to come here and visit

some of our favorite places has been

about 3 years since we last in Hawaii so

we're going to try our best to see our

favorite places and give you guys some

new places at the same time but comment

tropical so I think instead of a sa it's

mango and pineapple and banana oh co was

are okay he's going to probably eat all

the pineapple off the of this well I

need to get some of this

granola I love when you when you're in

Hawaii and you just hear the roosters in

the

background oh yeah I think the whole

family's giving it a thumbs up what are

you dad ready compared to the uh thumbs

up your thumbs uping it's kind of nice

cuz it's something different but I still

the OG with peanut butter is the best M

so this tropical blend is mango

pineapple coconut cream banana and

that's what's going to make the aai and

of course we have toppings of coconut

flakes pineapple granola T sauce also

ice

cream first of all how incredible is

that backdrop Hawaii we love you the fan

band have been gracious enough to give

me the rest of the asai bowl after they

demolished all the toppings I think I

have like a little bit of

coconut also one kind of sad thing they

got rid of all their seating maybe

mixing things up but at least there's a

couple of trees St I'm to sit on Daddy

right guys if you are coming to aaho you

need to come to this beach it is so

perfect for families you just like

running the waves the backdrops are

beautiful do you like this beach honey

yeah Mom H see for any parent that is

regretting that long haul flight our

word of advice is at the end of the day

once it's done it's done and you get to

enjoy your holiday whether it's 9 hours

11 hours even if it is 16 hours of pain

doesn't matter cuz you are an absolutely

beautiful place wherever you're

traveling to ka's first time ever

swimming in the beaches here in Hawaii

me why this is our favorite Beach on the

island there's two of them four of of us

Hawaii who D in the

something how good is this place so we

found that on the island there are just

food trucks everywhere and whenever we

come out here we try and find a

different one and today we've come to a

taco kind of burrito place it's called

surf and salsa it looks so cool it's

actually there's a bunch of food trucks

around this time yeah we went for some

tacos and uh luckily all the kids they

love tacos So Easy Choice today honey

spilled all my water on the table splish

splish none of my waters are ever

safe how is

it all right I bite a fish right now too

M mhm what the fish look like the

coriander actually goes really with the

fish no I'm glad we without choices I'm

going to have another bite of the fish

Che is that good no oh you know what we

need to do Hunter yeah get your taco and

we got to dip

it where in the guac ready dip

dipping mhm now I kind of wish we got

crunchy for the fish as well cuz I feel

like this is going to be our

favorite M thumbs up for the tacos how

good does that look so for the for the

fish we went for soft which comes with

coriander lime onions and onions thank

we got the shrimp with these the prawns

I already feel like this is going to be

my favorite I'm pretty sure the crunchy

ones comes with everything comes with

the sour cream the cheese the lettuce

the tomatoes oh my gosh I'm biting into

one of these right now how good does

Ice so I think we've come to the most

famous spot on the island because we

just said there was a lion but a lion

good

place was so famous

but they know how to move a line because

the line was long but it went quick so

we went for peanut colada and strawberry

cream with the condensed milk and the

ice cream feel like hunter likes it oh

snow oh yeah let me that is a good

flavor combo you know what I'm digging

for there it is it's a bit of ice

cream oh yeah ice cream in the bottom

look I like it down there condensed milk

yeah you know m

yay it adds like a creaminess to it so

it's not just like flavored ice I don't

know it adds to it this is a big thumbs

up for me this is like the best shave I

I've ever had you see what I mean it's

like they know how to shave their eyes
