I'm okay we're home we're home it's
officially one week in with five kids
yeah yep so we're doing a quick catchup
uh I don't actually have any catchup

uh no we just wanted to catch up with
you guys um before we kind of get out of
this whole like brand new baby season
just kind of get into like the role of
normal life we want to have like one
more cap on new baby stuff so yeah um so
you have questions for me or something I
I have I have some questions okay but
also a big one being uh just how was the
first week of bringing baby home and
kind of
explaining uh what sleep was like the
first week with baby but also what we
what we went through the first week with
all the kids and the new baby yeah yeah
cuz that was kind of a lot for a second
yeah fortunately we're so hospital was
great coming home from the hospital was
great first you guys saw us coming home
the first day was good yeah slept good
the first day yeah I actually slept
great the first night um like I felt
like the last few weeks of pregnancy
were so rough on me that I wasn't
sleeping at all I was just like back and
forth all night so I just felt like I
had like 3 hours max of sleep so with a
newborn you know you're getting at least
like a couple hours here and there so I
felt pretty good the first couple nights
um and then all of a
sudden posie throws up hold on hold on
zalen got an ear infection oh zalen got
an ear infection the kids were taking
swim classes and we thought no fever so
we the doctor came over checked on zalen
was like oh you guys are fine he doesn't
have a fever so like everything's fine
you guys hon he always gets infection
our our two prayers right uh leading up
to this baby two prayers were healthy
mama and baby right I God please give us
a healthy mama and a healthy baby and
please keep our other kids healthy the
first week that we're home I know cuz
you don't want to bring a bring home
we've been so good since Florida we
haven't sick Disney World Tri we
literally haven't been sick for like
four or 5 months knock wood like tiny
little things you like a cough or runny
nose we don't consider that I'm a big
wipe out we have it and then Zeal gets
an ear infection like 2 days after we
bring the baby home yeah and we're like
okay like maybe a few hours after the
doctor leaves he gets a fever yeah after
she's like oh he's in the clear cuz
there's no fever like yay that night he
spikes a big like a few hours later he
gets a big fever go like oh man so then
I think thinking maybe it's just him cuz
ear infection aren't contagious and
maybe it's just going to be him and
we're good so then you know I'm not
sleeping cuz newborn he's not sleeping
cuz zeen and and just reminder zalen has
gotten a foral seizure yeah which means
that this was almost 2 years ago almost
two years ago exactly Zeon had his first
and only FBR seizure praise the Lord he
hasn't had any more since but it's where
kids who get fevers too die and they
Spike too quickly or even if they uh
fall too drastically they can have a
seizure and Zeon had one two years ago
so anytime gets a we're more on edge
when he has a fever than like if other
kids get it yeah um but yeah and that
happens it Go his fever went away pretty
quick though and then posie got a fever
posie got a fever then her stomach hurt
all day one of the days really oh no I
hope this isn't like a throw up someing
she never threw up and then later that
night night Sunday throws up out of
nowhere gets a fever it's like day like
oh my gosh so it's like like day three
or four yeah we're like day three or
four new baby and and this at this point
he's not sleeping good yeah at this
point he's not sleeping that great so he
slept good like the first night or two
yeah and then like Night 2 or Up 3 from
like from like 900 p.m. until 300 a.m.
he's waking up like every hour basically
to e so you're exhausted so I'm sleepy
I'm pretty sleepy cuz I'm which it's
fine because that's just newborn life
but kids all the sick kids was just
rough so and they were trying to keep
him kind of away from the kids but we're
also not like the craziest about like
you got to go stay in the room what are
we going to do with the kids you got F
like we're not going to like I basically
just said no hand touching no kissing
yeah baby stayed healthy yeah so like
all of that happened everyone's healthy
now for days Nicole and Everly all
stayed healthy which is great has it
been like 5 days savan has been very
good about giving the kids vitamins I
have on a just a real level we think
that that K this sickness out like the
got it it was gone like a day or two
every vitamin possible ever since we
moved and if California if you haven't
changed your air filters oh my gosh we
were getting sick all the time in
California no one told us he had to
change air filters we had our air
filters in for like 2 years so bad it's
so and then we change them we didn't
even know that you had to change
ail if you have a house change your air
filteria I feel like our kids were just
sick all the time because we our house
is haunted there's some weird mode JoJo
G and then someone just brought up our
air filters and we're like huh what's
that what but no one's days and the baby
sleep amazing you guys he sleeps he does
4our stretches three times in the middle
of the night like incredible man like
sleeps until like 10:00 a.m. in the
morning too so it's great by the time
that you guys watch this we will have
taking a family flight with our five
kids we leave
tomorrow uh to Florida my dad's wedding
yeah so pray for us yeah it's going to
be
97° with Supreme humidity and my mom is
coming which is nice her mom is coming
to help she's going to help us Sunday
cuz I feel like Sunday will be the most
this is going to this is going to be the
challenge if you guys have ever flown
with little kids I mean we're going have
an 11-year-old every's mostly we just
have lots of stuff like how are we going
to carry all the stuff and the babies so
much stuff I don't know car seats I have
no idea how this I there I I wish more
hands for stuff I wish I could film it
like look back on it cuz like this is
like maybe I'll get some stuff for you
guys of his hand there's no way that you
can film this we're just going to have
to persevere so just pray for us yeah
and pray that the kids won't get sick on
the flights yeah it's my dad's wedding
I'm ordaining it yeah congrats Dad yeah
if it wasn't his dad's wedding and he
wasn't ordaining it I would probably not
be going with a newborn but this is kind
of a big deal so yes we're very happy
for my dad yes okay from which amount of
kids and and these going be more rapid

amount of kids to the next was the
hardest transition obviously from like 1
to two 2 to three blah blah blah um
got I would say one is just the hardest
like zero to one like 0er to one is like
the hardest cuz you just go from
absolutely doing whatever you want to
having someone that you were caring for
every second of your life I agree with
that what was the scariest thing about
the birth
experience I know we talked about it but
maybe for people who had get watch thing
prob just epidural yeah yeah for sure
yeah we think we think what happened was
we think Savanah got an epidural I think
I got a C-section epidural is what
happened because I was completely numb
from here down like completely numb yeah
like Cole could have put my foot behind
my head and I would have never noticed
yeah something that that would and
that's not normal that kind of scared
was like she said this before we found
this out but she she was like she was
like out of it she was kind I have I
don't want to fall asleep cuz I have to
keep reminding myself to take breaths
I'm like what the the heck was going
she's like I'm numb here and I I I'm get
tingly on my chest I'm like what the
heck is going on and then after all that
went away cuz the medicine wore off you
feel again they were going to redo an
epidural yeah that was just they were
explaining how like if they give you too
much of an epidural it can actually numb
and like paralyze your lungs and like
you can't forget to breathe I'm like I
think that was happening um all in all
we we had a great experience yeah once
that epidural was done and they put my
new one in and the correct one it was
totally and I need to clarify the
medical team had our hospital was great
they did a fantastic job we had such a
wonderful experience but child birth can
just be kind of scary yeah if you and
Sav were to adopt do you think you would
adopt a child or a baby we were just
talking about this we were just talking
about this we went on a date for the
first time since baby me Cole and baby
last night yes and we were talking about
this um I hear some people say like
don't disrupt the birth order if you're
going to adopt so I hear that's a thing
but then people do it all the time you
know so at first first I was like well I
just won't distrupt the birth order
order and I'm we'll just do a baby when
we're all done but now I'm like there's
such a big age gap between Everly and
posie that I feel like there'd be a
perfect child to just go like right in
the middle of them every every's 11 POS
five so there's sixe age Gap right there
so I feel like it'd be pretty perfect in
like a couple years for us to adopt a
kid like 2 or three years old yeah like
a 9 10 year old um plus I feel like
babies get adopted all the time and
older kids don't yeah as
much I don't know but but this is a big
pause at the moment obviously we are now
adressing to a fifth kid we're very
young we're not in any rush but we are
prayerful that if this is something that
God wants and if he brings a perfect kid
into our family then yeah I'm whatever
whatever God's plan is for our adoption
if that happens I'm open to any age yeah
my prayer my prayer or gender yeah yeah
we're not biased my prayer is just that
God would expand specifically my ability
to love each individual kid well right
CU this will go into and I so I'll touch

I think this is our last one together

curious um but we could adopt my uh
pause on adoption is it's not adoption
it's it's nothing with adop it's just
another kid whether it's a kid conceived
with my wife or a kid that we bring into
our home I just want to have the
capacity not to just Clump the kids
together and love them uh as a group cuz
it's really easy to like have all the
kids playing outside as a whole or take
them all to Tri Par as a whole but like
to like look them each in the face
oneon-one and get that one-onone time
which I want to make sure I'm always
really good about which we really love
doing and we love doing it's just that
that's is what gets harder with more
kids that's where if we brought another
kid in I want to make sure that I know
that I can do that right now still only
really giving special time to three kids
you know cuz we don't take Sunday out on
like special dates yet she's still
little yeah so right now the special
time is really just three kids so I
can't imagine doing six but you would
just make it happen so you know all that
to say if we don't adopt in the next 3 5
years it doesn't mean that we're not
going to mhm it just means that we're
adjusting yeah and we're not rushing
into this okay
uh did you know that Beckham's initials
are BBL yep yep all right we don't care
at all so asked she was like do you care
and I was like I don't one rip I was
like I don't either uh just cuz we like
the name back in blue lebrand so it's
like if we like the name I'm not going
to let the initials like I don't ever
think of any of my kids initials plus
plus we don't um look down on people who
do have bbls right if you have a BBL
like we still think you're great how
much did blew away I there's a lot of
questions about this I thought we said
it on the Vlog oh I don't know if we did
he was big he was 8 lb 10 oz yeah least
big for us I know some of you guys like
that's not big but yeah that
um and the last question is other names
you guys thought of instead of Beckham
blue and I guess we could just say them
all now since we probably won't be
having another baby that's true we were
just going to do blue obviously just
name him blue and a lot of people are
confused why we didn't just do blue
because we just call him blue but we
also Like Beckham and I kind of I like
reason I think we already explained this
but our reasoning for it too is like is
he has the option to go by either name
that he wants to which I think is cool
you have two names
I like Beck and blue most of everyone
else calls him blue but I like Beck and
blue I like Beck and blue too um other
names that we liked so again blue
possibly for just the first name we like
shephard a lot we love Savannah's number
one name if I was Bor with it Chapel was
Chapel if I was I almost forgot what it
was for a second I was like was that
right yeah I love chapel would he would
be Chapel if I was on board with it I
just I thought that was so cute calling
