Transcripts
all right what's going on guys it's Chev
we're back here finally on the
full-blown re-release of multiverses the
last time I made a video on this game in
particular was like a year or so ago
they finally relaunched today is the
official relaunch day for multiverses
they got a whole bunch of new content
new network new everything a lot of the
mechanics have been reworked in the game
attack Decay and certain move sets were
changed and different values were
changed and yeah a week or so ago I made
a video uh reacting to the trailer
introducing uh Jason V he in particular
along with agent Smith but everything
has been completely revamped I'm super
excited to play actually been playing a
lot of X defiant recently but this game
right here will allow me to move back
and forth between the two of them I'll
have a lot of fun also the new Call of
Duty season I believe is tomorrow right
so I'll also have that covered oh that's
a great start the game Crash if you
didn't see any of my multiverses videos
I was formerly a Bugs Bunny player and
I'll definitely still play him from what
I know though uh Bugs Bunny himself has
actually been toned down quite a bit
since the last time I played I'm not
entirely sure what that entails I know
that they ended up uh fixing his one air
neutral attack that was just way too
good it could basically combo into
itself so you would catch somebody with
an initial combo knock them up into the
air hit them with this Cyclone thing
that you can just keep comboing into
itself it was very very strong very very
overtuned they apparently adjusted that
they adjusted some other stuff okay here
we go token of our appreciation for all
our loyal MVPs in the open Beta we have
commemorative themed Cosmetics to pay
thanks we got a Finn variant y new ring
out banana guard announcer pack dude
banana guard gone but not forgotten
multi mul versus is removing gold from
the game but in its place we've got more
specific currencies for unlocking
Fighters and perks yeah I heard about
this there's like three or four
different currencies in the game
eventually you'll be able to
differentiate between the actual like uh
bloat and the actual currency that
really matters uh perks 2.0 all perks
have been updated and reset but you'll
receive enough perk currency to match
the number of perks you unlock during
the open Beta I'm pretty sure I had them
all so perks are now equipped through
presets go to Fighters check out each
character and try editing their perk
presets or go nuts purchase some new per
while you're at it and then prestigious
new currency Prestige points you can
unlock exclusive items in the prestige
store will be sure to give you enough
Prestige points to match all the
Cosmetics you've already unlocked in the
open Beta all right cool and I assume
this is the same opening that I reacted
to and everything yeah okay we can skip
this we've seen all of this you would
never really assumed that you would
actually see these characters fighting
each other but here they are game is
Just fully realized so now they're
throwing me into a tutorial okay so they
got like this little story mode kind of
thing going on where the characters will
like make up like little [ __ ] that
there's an actual like storyline I guess
I I'm assuming it's probably not very
deep at all but yeah yeah I think I'm
going to move all of my controls over to
d-pad instead of uh stick this a cool
little tutorial to get people uh
familiar with it especially with them
knowing like the type of player base
that they're going to have there's going
to be a lot of like casual gamers that
pick this up just because the overall
like premise of the game is to try to
reach as many people as possible on top
of that it's a platform fighter so it's
a little bit more accessible than other
games it's a little less complex not
that it's less skillful just a little
less complex and easier to understand
I've never played Shaggy before so his
special attacks seem like regular attack
I always assume like the upper cut and
all that stuff were regular attacks but
they're actually special on Shaggy so
I've seen like two or three different
currencies already now obviously the
game is free to play so there's going to
be a lot of different kind of like
monetization strategies easy experience
crushing Insanity Looney I might be able
to actually make a series just trying to
play the game on like this Looney mode
that's like ridiculous challenges and
[ __ ] uh let's do experience why not
traversing your Rift okay so now I can
just go back I don't need to do that all
right cool uh oh [ __ ] no I didn't mean
to do that I didn't mean to click this
Dan I've never played Shaggy before he's
going to whoop my ass I didn't even get
to change my controls or
anything I I don't think this is a real
person if they're playing doesn't make
sense to me
uppercut oh yeah okay I don't think
that's a real person yeah the camera is
much closer now which I mean I don't
really mind actually it seems like you
can only Dodge around so many times now
before your character gets like
exhausted there's like a meter now there
was a meter before but I swear that that
meter it really it was a lot you could
basically spam infinitely and the game
ended up being this whole spam Fest
where people were just spamming the
Dodges and wave dashing all over the
screen now I'm not saying that people
still can't wave Dash or anything like
that or have a whole lot of movement and
stuff but it seems a lot more controlled
and it seems slower whenever you're
watching it but when you're playing it
it's definitely it's not slow when
you're getting into trading and [ __ ]
it's definitely not slow claim claim
claim claim wow claim claim claim claim
okay so looking at our stats here career
we have over 1,000 wins almost 3,000
ring outs it says our most played is
Shaggy but that's just not true so8 wins
2,878 ring out it's a bit more than I
thought I would have to be honest so
because I played in the beta uh I can
apparently claim Jason for free right
introducing Prestige points Prestige
points by collecting Cosmetics got it
all right and we got Jason this is what
I've been waiting for I'm aware that
he's big and slow and everything I'm
sure that he's not you know insane I'm
assuming he's going to have big damage
he might be a little difficult to ring
out but he can get comboed like crazy
kind of like a Iron Giant but a little
bit smaller how do I see my uh Prestige
points or whatever I have 42,000 okay so
let's go into uh practice mode or
something instead of having the stick
bound I'm going to go d-pad up d-pad
right d-pad down d-pad left okay now I
can move around with d-pad beautiful all
right so this is Jason holy look at him
so his only taunt is where he just looks
up at you we got this charge attack
where he walks forward oh my damage how
far does he go oh so he does like a one
two into a grab throws him got a
shoulder Ram we got
boom what the
[ __ ] yeah that's pretty difficult to
land this little Pokey thing boom boom
boom
boom boom Jason has this little charge
thing it gives him extra HP or something
he has this walking attack that's like a
Teleport it also does damage as soon as
you walk over it also has a crazy amount
of knockback okay so you can uh bag them
and then throw them off the side okay or
you can bag him and then just slam him
into the ground then throw them
that's going to kill yeah okay he has so
much kill potential but the big issue is
that he's very very slow and he can get
juggled like crazy I mean crazy I can do
like a neutral air grab oh I can grab
him from here too okay yeah Jason is
just all about Landing if you land they
die it's very simple okay cool got it'll
be a little bit before I get used to
them also getting juggled is very very
annoying for sure also getting juggled
is definitely going to be a pretty
annoying thing but let's do some rips go
experienced I'll get better at it I'm
expecting myself to get my ass whooped
online but these I I shouldn't struggle
too badly right
surely oh my
goodness oh my okay I am so
sorry rolling
me oh
my
no wait why is is he so T he does so
much [ __ ]
damage I heavily underestimated uh how
much damage he would actually do Jason
is so slow I I have to get used to it
it's going to be so odd if I lose one
more time on Jason I am rolling him if I
lose on Jason again I'm rolling him on
bugs watch me I got to get used to the
movement and [ __ ]
Oh my he is styling on me so bad look
he's just [ __ ] making me look
silly
boom
boom what the [ __ ] was
that whoa
[ __ ] introducing gems oh wow this highly
customizable okay I like this and we get
a reward for it reverse gears what is
that Dodge with full meter reverse all
projectiles oh I have no idea how I did
that Parry right there I think I did
like a perfect Dodge and that counts as
a
Parry w W Landing that uppercut I I
don't care that [ __ ] feels so goddamn
good I got to really practice with Jason
I'm just going to crash course just get
my ass whooped all night and hopefully
I'll be
better what the [ __ ] is this character
doing what the [ __ ] is that I didn't
play the game when Marvin was in so I
have no idea what the [ __ ] he's
doing oh my
[Applause]
oh my such a stupid
Victory he just ringed himself you did
that to yourself man I don't know what
you're so upset about cently the game
has over 100k current players and the
servers are stressing at the moment so I
think I'm going to stop here I'm so
excited that multivers is back I'm so
ready to play this [ __ ] I'm going to
edit this video put it up practice
afterwards tomorrow I'll have Call of
Duty and then I'll see about either X
defiant or multivers after that thank
you guys so much for all the love and
support on all these videos and uh yeah
it's been je guys later
