02:00

immediately following we are headed to

02:01

Cleveland for the official Kelsey

02:04

Brothers bobblehead night this is sool

02:05

at the Cleveland Cavaliers game a

02:07

portion of the proceeds have been agreed

02:09

to be donated uh to uh the height

02:12

schools Foundation we grew up in

02:13

Cleveland Heights so this was an awesome

02:15

collaboration and a opportunity to go

02:18

back one watch a Cavs game all right now

02:22

be back in Cleveland but also two to

02:24

give back to uh the schools and uh

02:27

community that raised us yeah dude this

02:30

is this is uh this hits home for me

02:32

because I used to take the rapid

02:33

downtown just to go watch Cavs games

02:36

when I was you used to take the rapid

02:37

really yeah in high school that's nice

02:39

mom used to take it to work every day

02:40

yeah yeah nice mom you mom actually used

02:44

to Key Bank and then uh Bank One used to

02:47

have business tickets at these Cavs

02:49

games yeah and I would tell and I once I

02:52

figured that one out I was like Mom you

02:53

make sure you put put our name down on

02:55

every single one of those tickets and

02:57

whichever ones don't hit and we like

02:59

even if it was like us versus like

03:02

whoever was trash like the worst in the

03:04

league at that point in time like I

03:06

think the Cavs were kind of the worst

03:08

but either way whoever was the worst at

03:10

LeBron James nobody wanted to go to that

03:12

game I will happily go to that game yeah

03:14

you like big Z and zunis Ricky Ricky

03:18

Davis yeah baby D miles just back when

03:20

it was the gun Wesley persons Danny fery

03:24

should I well this is Danny was done by

03:27

this point yeah you're right Carlos

03:28

Boozer yeah Carlos sper was there for

03:30

sure then LeBron James if you guys

03:32

remember I remember actually tickets

03:33

went up I didn't go to I didn't go to

03:35

very many games once LeBron yeah there

03:37

were the Cavs tickets and there was also

03:39

the uh those tickets also worked for any

03:42

of the other events so we'd go to

03:43

Lumberjack games oh yeah go to uh you

03:46

remember the one time we went to the

03:47

monster truck rally dude that was dope

03:50

we need to go to a monster truck

03:53

rally they do want it to link I haven't

03:56

been to one for I don't know if it's it

03:57

was good as a kid I don't know yeah good

03:59

point take the girls gotta be sweet oh

04:01

they'd love it I think they would yeah

04:04

well uh what do you think of this

04:05

bobblehead um I think it's I think it's

04:08

got your weight a little disproportioned

04:10

but no it's good I I look nice and slim

04:12

my head looks enormous but it's a

04:14

bobblehead so I think that is this what

04:15

is this the body type you're looking to

04:17

go to in

04:19

retirement uh I I feel like if it's hard

04:22

to gauge cuz my head's so large cuz that

04:26

is one thing that happens with offensive

04:27

lineman when they lose weight they go

04:29

too far and your head I feel like your

04:32

head gets bigger when you play offive

04:33

line and it never really shrinks back

04:34

down like my skull has

04:37

transformed from years of being 290 lbs

04:41

so if I go too light then I'll actually

04:43

look like this bobblehead and I don't

04:44

want to look like that yeah it's

04:45

typically in the neck what I see like

04:47

because your neck is like that's your

04:49

protectors that's why you got to keep

04:50

doing neck give my man Dave Andrews

04:53

don't want to get a pencil Dave Anders

04:55

man got the jerseys on got your dad you

04:57

got your air dads on the the new balance

04:59

uh Edition um I think these are sweet

05:02

man and I wish I could spin a basketball

05:03

on my finger like this I cannot we tried

05:06

we tried to learn that so hard and just

05:08

never got it down the globe shers never

05:10

taught me that one I feel like there's a

05:11

trick that you can learn it that' be

05:14

pretty easy but we this is like YouTube

05:17

wasn't around should we try and redo

05:18

this should we finally learn this I feel

05:21

there's got to be a YouTube video out

05:22

there that like teaches us I don't think

05:24

it's interesting enough um okay cool

05:25

we're really appreciative that the the

05:27

Cavs are doing this for us um and we're

05:29

going to show up and try and get that

05:30

place as Rowdy as possible knowing that

05:32

they got the Boston Celtics coming in

05:33

town uh I believe the number one and the

05:35

number two teams in the east in the

05:37

right now Cavs are back up on top baby

05:41

go we're also launching a a clothing

05:44

collaboration with the Cavs team shop

05:45

the uh the Kel Bros Cleveland's finest

05:48

which is pretty damn cool um so make

05:50

sure you uh you check that out the

05:52

limited edition merch uh when it's

05:54

available at the Cleveland Cavaliers

05:55

team

05:57

shop.com Cavaliers team shop.com am I

05:59

Cleveland's finest yes you are I don't

06:02

think that's Jason you are Cleveland you

06:04

are literally of Cleveland's finest it's

06:08

like you and Steve Harvey are like and

06:11

Jim Carrey Drew Carrey Drew Carrey I

06:13

wish Jim Carrey that'd be a nice one

06:15

that'd be pretty crazy Drew is good too

06:16

I love you drew that's a great one yeah

06:18

it's you3 right there at the top and

06:20

like Jason said portion of the proceeds

06:21

we go into the Cleveland Heights uh

06:23

schools Foundation initiative and um we

06:26

always love giving back to the heights

06:27

baby no doubt Jason ran a five K how

06:30

about that we ran a 5k dude ran walk a

06:33

5k was this like the start of you

06:36

becoming a bobblehead or what no uh yeah

06:38

this this was not the start of losing

06:40

weight this is uh so we do our uh

06:43

Foundation event every year down in SE a

06:45

that raises money for the Eagles autism

06:47

Foundation uh but Mike Seafood has been

06:50

doing an annual event for 15 years now I

06:53

believe Mike Mike's is good down there

06:56

too yeah yeah Mike is the man and um his

06:59

son is on the Spectrum and they've been

07:01

doing a lot of things for uh the autism

07:03

cause for and raising money and

07:05

awareness for a long time far preceding

07:08

Us in SE Isle City in particular uh that

07:10

was actually my first time ever going

07:12

there was for the Polar Plunge which is

07:14

when Mike does his event every year nice

07:16

so we thought uh you know you skipped

07:18

out on the Polar pin this year no I did

07:20

it oh nice was that the 5K the 5K was

07:23

the polar so they don't do they used to

07:25

have like a specific time where everyone

07:27

would go into the ocean together now

07:29

they still have like the plunge but you

07:31

kind of go at your own pace or if you do

07:34

it whatever but the 5K is the only thing

07:36

that really is like a thing that happens

07:38

now the event down there so we were down

07:40

there we wanted to go down there because

07:41

we have a house down there now and it's

07:43

awesome when you take the girls to the

07:44

beach you just let him run we thought uh

07:47

you know it'd be really cool to go and

07:49

run in Mike's event and uh show up for

07:52

that so tried running it yeah I had like

07:55

I had my

07:56

monarchs not the best running shoe I

07:58

don't think they I'll tell you what you

08:00

can mow some grass you could yeah

08:02

they're great you could lay some mulch

08:03

yeah they're great lawn mower you could

08:05

plant some flowers you could you could

08:08

do some handy work in the garage yeah

08:09

not a 5k shoe but not a 5k shoe running

08:12

around in those things so we started off

08:15

you can cuz you did you did it but we

08:17

started off running and I'm I should

08:19

have know like first of all we were late

08:20

we showed up a little bit late so it had

08:22

already started perfect that's genius

08:24

and I start running and I'm like we're

08:25

like did you steal a few blocks too did

08:27

you no you started we started right from

08:29

the we kind of snuck in and still went

08:32

and as we're running we're like passing

08:33

people I'm like okay we're doing pretty

08:35

good here and I should have known at

08:36

that point like hey we need to just slow

08:38

this pace down so we're running and one

08:42

of the uh Hammond that we're with says

08:45

uh Taylor says that every 20 blocks or

08:47

something like that is a mile all right

08:49

she just throws that out there so I'm

08:51

running and we hit about 20 blocks and

08:53

I'm like hey I'm doing good the block

08:55

the blocks are kind of short over there

08:56

that's I can see that it's not the case

08:58

let me we going to get to it so I

09:00

thought that was where we were at and

09:01

I'm like okay I'm I'm cruising this is a

09:04

good Pace I think I'm going to nail this

09:06

I think I'm actually going to be able to

09:07

do this and then like after we're off of

09:11

the prominade boardwalk and we're onto

09:14

the like Street they have a line I think

09:16

I'm well past a mile and there's a line

09:19

and it says one mile and I'm just like

09:21

oh my God there is and I know I got to

09:24

go three plus and I'm like there's just

09:26

no way this is happening I've I have

09:28

given everything I have to get to this

09:29

point so I made it halfway I made it I

09:33

made it just before halfway I started

09:35

walking then just kept walking cuz I

09:38

used up

09:41

everything and then ran like the last

09:43

500 feet where's our mental toughness I

09:45

I was inducing mental toughness through

09:48

that mile it was hard I'm not built for

09:50

this there's also like this weird I I

09:53

feel like the same way with swimming

09:54

where like older people have this

09:57

ability to just get in this this gear

09:59

where it's actually like slower than if

10:01

you walked but they can just maintain it

10:03

yeah and I can't maintain my run like

10:06

I'm like in this gear I think you get

10:08

that after 50 like you once you hit 50

10:10

you find that zone like I'm like

10:12

watching people swim I'm like how are

10:13

you even like staying a float with how

10:15

slow you're going I don't know how this

10:16

is like possible like and but they

10:19

Outlast me just buoyant I it's literally

10:22

like I'm just living the tortoise in the

10:24

hair the movie of the taurise in the or

10:26

the uh the story of the taurise in the

10:28

hair like that is like

10:29

what old people are to me in any

10:31

conditioning event like they can they're

10:32

going to catch me because I'm going to

10:33

get tired and they've somehow they're

10:35

still so you got smoked saw Mr Meo

10:38

running past you or just I got smoked by

10:40

every old I was it was embarrassing I'm

10:42

not going to lie pickle ball and 5Ks are

10:44

not something I can compete with old

10:45

people

10:48

in we got a good tweet from you um after

10:51

Fox Sports NFL uh tweeted out Jason just

10:54

ran a 5k to raise money you said in

10:56

quotes ran is a generous uh verb for

10:59

it's a wrong

11:00

verb not generous it's incorrect uh but

11:03

we had a blast and I'll tell you my time

11:05

was 45 minutes the fact that you just

11:08

said you did Jesus 45 minutes for three

11:11

miles I'm telling you it was a bad I

11:15

think you're not passing you're not

11:16

passing Roxboro elementary gym class if

11:19

I would have known I should have checked

11:20

the route out and known exactly how far

11:22

I was going cuz then I would have like

11:23

stopped earlier and I could have mind

11:26

[ __ ] you it mind [ __ ] you and you

11:27

were checked out after that yeah and

11:29

then once I got to that level fatigue

11:31

and like I was just overheated my

11:33

carburetor was steaming I was well you

11:35

finished strong because you ran across

11:38

the Finish Well yeah you got to finish

11:39

strong you can't just walk across the

11:41

Finish

11:43

Line tell you what I'll tell you what's

11:46

not good I don't know why it's reminding

11:48

me of this movie uh that simbad was in

11:50

as a kid I know

11:52

exactly ra and then just hits a right

11:54

hook into like the houses that goes and

11:57

sees the double arches and goes gets

11:59

McDonald's in the middle of it oh my I

12:02

see you just I know exactly what you're

12:03

talking about oh man it's a good one if

12:06

it was McDonald's I might have

12:08

stopped it was early no I had had a

12:10

breakfast yet there's no Mickey D's on

12:12

the uh over there in and then uh after

12:15

we ran it we went to the beach right off

12:18

uh the street that our house is on and

12:20

uh went in the water plunged nice did a

12:22

little plunge shout out to Mike for

12:24

doing this thing for what is it 19 plus

12:26

years 15 15 yep I'm sure it'll get to

12:29

sometime yeah I mean it's not stopping

12:30

sometime next it's not stopping anytime

12:32

soon so shout out to Mike man can't wait

12:33

to get some uh that Seafood when I'm on

12:36

the aisle just right now there we go

12:38

well I had uh something that we had to

12:40

take care of this past week I owed

12:42

something you did not you did not have

12:44

to take care of listen bet bet Bo man

12:47

was this enjoyable guys there was an

12:49

agreement made a packed agreed to and um

12:53

what was the pack well the pack was if

12:55

the

12:56

Bills beat the Chiefs in the New Heights

12:59

team name competition oh okay yeah that

13:02

I would have to jump through a flaming

13:03

table it was time to Pony up so we uh

13:06

have an outstanding video here uh where

13:08

you guys can check out how that went

13:13

down it was

13:16

exhilarating it's not at all like the

13:19

way the Buffalo uh bills Mafia jumps

13:22

through tables this was a very safety

13:25

first um I can't wait to hear Bill's

13:28

Mafia just just look at the comments and

13:29

just see you get torched for this why

13:31

would they torch me I jumped through a

13:33

torch why would they torch

13:36

me you're like bubble wrap dude you were

13:39

like the safest human being to ever jump

13:42

through a I thought it' be fitting

13:43

because the Steelers then knocked out

13:44

the bills so I wearing dad's dad steel

13:48

mill clothing attire AKA it it kind of

13:52

makes sense and it's safe so you were

13:55

like yeah I got listen I didn't want to

13:56

catch on fire if I would have been 20

13:58

milles deep or whatever beer of choice I

14:02

was about to say you had a few beverages

14:04

huh to get the to get the nerves to calm

14:05

down 20 beers deep if I would have been

14:07

20 beers deep I would have jumped

14:09

through that thing with my t-shirt on

14:10

but I wasn't 20 beers de we were riding

14:11

to the firehouse and you literally said

14:15

I'm going to jump from the top of the

14:16

fire trck and in my head I'm like that's

14:19

I thought Le I thought that was like

14:21

reason 15ot jump dude I don't think it's

14:23

that jump from the second I think it's

14:25

jumping from the second floor onto a

14:27

[ __ ] I think it's 10t no way dude I

14:30

got up on the top of the one truck which

14:31

was shorter than the fire truck and

14:34

immediately was like man I'm not worried

14:37

at all about the

14:39

fire started like cat out a little bit

14:41

like let me make sure I got my bearings

14:42

here cuz this

14:44

is the fire was the least inting this a

14:47

little too high guys what do you guys

14:49

think I was like no it's perfect yeah

14:52

you trying to egg me on oh dude what I

14:54

did not I wanted to see that that would

14:56

have been electric you wanted to see me

14:57

break my hip on the conrete oh tuck and

14:59

roll Grandma tuck and roll dude it's

15:01

hard to tuck and roll when you're going

15:03

through a table there's objects that are

15:04

preventing you from

15:06

Rolling no that was it the fire was the

15:09

least hard to figure out just wear a

15:11

bunch of flame [ __ ] stuff they gave

15:12

me the little uh the the firefighter

15:14

Hood thing that the fire department Hood

15:17

G uh deal to protect my face and then

15:19

they gave me gloves so I felt very

15:21

confident with the fire about to go

15:23

skiing it was jumping through a table on

15:25

concrete like if we would have done that

15:27

in the middle of the snow I would have

15:28

jumped off truck but hear you I looked

15:30

at that and I was like dude if I had I'm

15:32

going to break something I want to land

15:33

on my butt I'm like I'll break my

15:35

tailbone if I jump from 10t in the air

15:37

that's how you break things is you get

15:38

worried about it you just got to send it

15:39

and athlete it man you know it I think

15:41

that's you know this when you're a kid

15:43

you just athlete it you're just like

15:45

dude I I can jump from this garage onto

15:48

this trampoline either way it happened

15:51

the table broke bet is paid shout out to

15:54

Bill's Mafia it was electric I will say

15:56

it was exhilarating it was and I enjoyed

15:58

I enjoyed every bit of watching you do

16:00

it the buildup was hilarious the

16:03

questions the safety briefing with the

16:05

with the Fire Marshals oh man that was

16:08

uh please if you're going to jump

16:09

through a flamy table do it safely and

16:12

find your dad's steel mill fire [ __ ]

16:15

and

16:16

stuff man that was hilarious yeah we

16:19

play Buffalo next year it at Buffalo

16:22

we're going to run it back you going to

16:24

I mean listen coming out of the big tree

16:25

in I'm not going to say no to anybody

16:27

with a flaming table I'm just letting

16:28

you know that right

16:30

now you heard it here folks all right

16:33

well I hope you guys enjoyed that as

16:35

much as we did let's get some fan

16:36

mentions of the week all right now um

16:39

first up we have a saga of Jason and

16:42

cats why will they not leave me alone

16:44

what do you mean this is Destiny they

16:47

know I don't want they know you're

16:49

getting one and they want to show you

16:51

how much it makes sense uh there was a

16:54

viral tweet going around of a cat with a

16:57

pattern on its back that um the internet

16:59

decided looks exactly like Jason Kelce

17:02

and uh now I want to see a zoomed out

17:04

photo I want to see a zoomed out photo

17:06

this cat and it's not going to look like

17:08

me at all you cannot it only looks like

17:10

it because they cut it and they took a

17:11

picture where it looks like a beard I'm

17:13

not going to Li zoomed out it doesn't

17:14

look like me do you think they H do you

17:17

think they do I think they what do do

17:20

you think they they dyed it it does look

17:22

weird that there's like a white part of

17:24

the cat and then there's like this weird

17:25

light tan you think they I think they

17:27

might have I mean I don't put anything

17:30

past cat

17:34

people what do you mean cat

17:37

people you're cat PE you're you're cat

17:40

people you grew up with one you're a cat

17:42

people we had a great one gosh flash was

17:44

a [ __ ] Legend cat she was perfect the

17:47

only time she bothered you is when she

17:48

wanted to sleep with you yeah and she

17:51

really like other than that she didn't

17:52

want you to touch her dude do not broad

17:54

daylight do not try and [ __ ] play

17:56

with a cat dude you would just hear

17:58

sounds from outside at night get it like

18:01

two cats fighting you knew F flash is

18:03

beating the crap out of

18:04

somebody yeah sorry to whoever our

18:07

neighbors

18:08

were I never saw flash with a scratch on

18:11

her not but I heard her fighting saw

18:13

dead rodents s kill a bird midair

18:16

once I'm it's I'm pretty positive I

18:20

remember this happening I was sitting on

18:21

that green couch looking out the back of

18:23

the living room and I just see her

18:26

looking like this I'm like what is Flash

18:27

doing and that bird got a little too low

18:29

on and she jumped up and clawed at midf

18:32

flight the most impressive athlete I've

18:33

ever seen cats dude DK metf is a close

18:36

second Jason Peters close

18:38

second dud I'm not gonna lie I think

18:40

Jason might be able to claw a bird out

18:42

of midair guaranteed do you ever see

18:44

that guy catch that one bird in his hand

18:45

talking about Manny job he caught man

18:48

job caught a bat mid game I don't

18:51

remember this mid game oh I do remember

18:53

he double handed it though right no I

18:56

think he just he kind of like dude it

18:59

was nasty okay yeah back to the cat

19:01

though uh it's got nice fur I mean it

19:04

can be anybody with a beard the wayct

19:06

excited about Flash it sounds like

19:08

you're getting a c the reason I don't

19:09

think this looks like me is it doesn't

19:10

have the eyebrow game is weak it's weak

19:12

eyebrow game want to be a kelse you got

19:13

to have better eyebrows I can't say

19:16

you're

19:18

wrong you got to have that yeah you got

19:20

to have them brows connecting especially

19:22

ones be Jason next up a lot of a lot of

19:24

the 92ers saw that uh princess cayana

19:27

hey Kai went out to Milan's Fashion Week

19:30

and are wondering how Jason possibly

19:32

managed to watch all three kids while

19:36

she was away from uh cat and a bunch of

19:39

[ __ ] numbers on Twitter or X can we

19:41

get some new Heist clips of Jason

19:43

watching all three girls while Kylie is

19:45

rocking Fashion Week out in Milan or do

19:48

we think Kylie left Wyatt in

19:50

charge I mean Wyatt's always in charge

19:53

really um always you try to not make her

19:56

be in charge like I try to discipline

19:57

her mmm

19:59

it

20:00

is it's just hard dude it's hard to

20:03

reason with somebody that has no reason

20:05

dude she is one of my favorite people to

20:08

just people watch great she's great yeah

20:10

I love just people watching her and

20:12

watching her play with Elliot is so

20:16

adorable but it is yes it is

20:22

1,00% Dad gets him one of the one one of

20:26

Elliot's birthday gifts was uh airplane

20:29

guns it was like little descri little

20:31

foam airplanes foam airplanes that you

20:34

put on top of a gun and you basically

20:36

yeah like and you when I tell you the

20:39

girls were going nuts and it started off

20:41

with Grandpa dad in the yard saying hey

20:44

if you guys can hit me you win like you

20:47

get like a Popsicle or something like

20:49

something encouraging so they were both

20:51

firing on at dad and it's sure enough it

20:53

ended in dad going inside being a static

20:56

that he just got the girl something that

20:57

they absolutely love but then it turns

20:59

into whoever's in the yard is the Target

21:02

right and yeah it's it's driving range

21:05

guys out there getting the balls hey I'm

21:07

not practicing on my n iron anymore I'm

21:09

going right at this [ __ ] little

21:10

Ellie little Elliot on her birthday runs

21:12

down there to go re retrieve her planes

21:14

to come back and do it again and sure

21:16

enough why it's locked and

21:18

loaded and she's running just you see

21:21

you see TR no don't hit your sister be

21:24

careful do not hit your sister as I'm

21:27

saying it the she keeps tracking keeps

21:29

tracking finally stops

21:32

D boom right to the side of the head I

21:36

didn't know head to the head and I me

21:39

like oh no why I said don't do that the

21:41

slow turn just smile the joy of her

21:47

going straight to the

21:50

Dome was like this girl this girl's got

21:54

it she's got it Ellie's going to be got

21:56

oh yeah Ellie's oh Ellie was having a

21:58

last she cried for about 2 seconds then

21:59

was right back to shooting it oh man

22:01

back to Kylie Rock so this is why Kylie

22:03

did not leave me in charge of the girls

22:05

cuz there have been plenty of

22:08

that oh man I'll tell you what Kai

22:10

killed it absolutely killed it um I

22:13

forget who she was uh who Alberta fretti

22:16

hey all right Alberta so you were uh you

22:18

were in charge um yes you were you were

22:21

kind of in charge no I was in a charge

22:22

so you just I I was not I was not alone

22:26

with the girls for more than two or

22:28

three hours at any point in the weekend

22:30

Grandma stayed over Kylie's Mom thank

22:32

you shout out to Lee She's a saint the

22:34

best I could handle Ellie and why it's

22:36

really the baby the infant that for some

22:39

reason I'm just not as Adept at handling

22:41

yeah I try you can't communicate I

22:44

actually just don't wake up like I sleep

22:46

that's a Kelsey trait for sure yeah and

22:48

then sometimes I actually do wake up but

22:49

I act like I'm still sleeping if I'm

22:51

being honest don't give it away don't

22:54

give it away don't tell we all know we

22:56

all know no no no no no oh no yeah we

22:59

had uh our babysitter Lauren and uh leas

23:03

were pulling lots of extra time duty to

23:07

help us get through that week really

23:08

happy Kai was able to go out there and I

23:10

she doesn't get any time away from the

23:12

girls really and then between Vegas for

23:15

the Super Bowl and then uh fashion yeah

23:21

yeah awesome nice she went out there

23:23

with her friend uh Elena Gro Elena Mike

23:26

grow was a coach inil up and shout out

23:28

to Mike and Elena is his wife and they

23:30

became close when she was in Philly and

23:33

now she uh got into fashion in New York

23:36

City where Mike now coaches for the

23:38

Giants so yeah right on if you were to

23:41

go to a fashion show would you you can

23:44

stop

23:47

[Music]

23:48

there dude you've been to a fashion show

23:51

what fashion show did I go to 87 running

23:54

I went to an 87 running

23:56

event that happened to have a fashion

23:58

show involved with

24:00

it I was there to support Travis anded

24:03

Foundation I was there to help you raise

24:05

money I was not there to be a part of

24:06

fashion you still went still counts you

24:09

heard play a prank on me with h Le go oh

24:12

that was tried to make me look like a

24:14

douche Le go had a great idea and it it

24:17

was right it was so perfect yeah and

24:21

you're such a good dude you're so much

24:23

of a good dude you couldn't tell for

24:26

those of you that haven't seen this

24:28

long story short Adam leco great friend

24:31

of ours hosted the event before the

24:33

event he wanted to play a little prank

24:35

on Jason when coming in acted like

24:38

everybody and their mother signed this

24:39

jersey Michael Jordan should have

24:42

known rice like we just basically forged

24:45

everyone's signature and told Jason oh

24:48

yeah this is cool like this is this is a

24:49

great of

24:52

money it was so good but we told him he

24:56

had to sign it and as he's signing it

24:59

the waitress comes in with wine to pass

25:02

around and accidentally bumps into Jason

25:04

pours it over Jason thinks oh she did

25:07

not bump to me she just like like just

25:09

like oh yeah but yeah but playing the

25:11

prank Jason uh then gets accused of

25:15

spilling the wine we have this video

25:17

somewhere that we could probably show um

25:20

I'll make sure I the only one in the

25:21

room with her when that happened and

25:23

then she I forget what she said but she

25:24

acted like I was the one who spilled the

25:26

wine Jason spilled on there Jason just

25:28

sitting there like I don't know if

25:31

that's how it went down in my head I'm

25:32

like man I really don't want this woman

25:34

to like she's really if she's saying

25:37

this she's worried about losing her job

25:39

or something I'm like [ __ ] it I'll I'll

25:42

eat it I don't give a

25:46

[ __ ] I'm like whatever it wasn't it

25:48

wasn't a Ser in my head I'm like man

25:50

it's pretty shitty by you but

25:54

I you know I get it oh man yes so we'll

25:58

we'll make sure we get that clip to you

25:59

but um I'll be all right yeah that was

26:01

Jason's only only time ever going to a

26:04

fashion show all right well that was fun

26:05

to remember yeah shout out to Kai over

26:07

there in Milan killing it um Kai's

26:10

killing it oh that's that might be a new

26:12

segment Kai's killing killing it with

26:13

Kai she did start like a little Tik Tock

26:15

thing of like places Kylie has no

26:17

business going I think that's what it

26:20

was God damn it that's about as good as

26:22

Jason getting out of the house right

26:23

there yeah I had to be tagged it because

26:25

I still don't I I've yeah been on Tik

26:28

Tok hey for our last mention of the week

26:30

some 92ers wanted to remind us that our

26:32

first ever National New Heights day just

26:35

went down February 30th how bought it

26:39

that's right midnight on February 29th

26:42

that is ashal new heights day um the

26:44

only problem is that I forgot did you

26:46

forget 1,000% I remembered in the middle

26:48

of the day and then by the time it got

26:50

night it was like late and I was like

26:51

yeah I'm going to sleep I don't I really

26:53

don't even remember I might not have

26:55

even been in the country that's how you

26:56

celebrate National HS day sleep I don't

26:59

even know what day it was uh I think it

27:00

was like Tuesday maybe or something like

27:02

that oh yeah no I don't I don't wake up

27:03

on Tuesdays yeah we have from at the

27:07

otter side um on Twitter everybody knows

27:10

everything happens on Mondays and

27:11

Wednesdays nothing happens on Tuesdays

27:13

Tuesday is a very forgotten day so at

27:15

the OU

27:16

side that's right most of you are

27:19

walking around thinking it's March 1st

27:21

but it's actually February 30th National

27:23

New Heights day uh thank you Jason Kelce

27:26

and Travis Kelce for commemorating the

27:28

special day for all the 92ers out there

27:31

uh thank you for the new heights team

27:32

for remembering it national New Heights

27:34

day Shout Out J J yeah so uh yeah that's

27:39

27:41

sure you guys let us know how you guys

27:42

27:44

27:45

years is that when leap leap years are

27:48

every four years or five years four

27:49

27:52

years so it's got to be multiple

27:55

our next sponsor Buffalo Wild Wings

28:01

28:03

we love BDubs on the show countless

28:05

times and I think we're about to love

28:07

them some more tra timate dirty because

28:10

they have two sauces that we need to try

28:13

you heard at 92ers right now for a

28:15

limited time only Buffalo Wild Wings has

28:19

two honey sauces that you need to get

28:20

your hands on Jason tell the people

28:22

about these unbelievable sauces the

28:24

first one is honey Sriracha o doesn't

28:27

like a little uh sweetness and a little

28:30

kick everybody loves that a little sweet

28:31

and spicy combination of flavors that

28:33

gives a little heat followed by sweet

28:35

that's what the sweet heat means and

28:37

then the second is BDubs honey garlic o

28:40

I don't know sweet and savory it's a I

28:43

don't know I've ever had that and I'm

28:45

interested I was in when you said honey

28:47

I was in when you said bebs yeah I was

28:49

in at honey all right now 92% remember

28:53

28:55

32:02

about it

32:04

Trav what the hell uh is your life doing

32:09

right now dude I have no idea yeah a lot

32:11

of a lot of false media being tossed out

32:15

there but um I'll tell you what wasn't

32:17

false and it was when I landed in

32:18

Australia and

32:19

seeing all the all the cameras and yeah

32:22

you're like the Beatles yeah I I went

32:24

into the uh to the F I'm like the beat

32:32

was that speed

32:36

skater that's

32:38

Apollo are you thinking of Apollo an

32:41

like antono yeah oh my God that's

32:44

[ __ ]

32:46

hilarious God that's good uh Yoko

32:53

Ono oh God uh no

32:58

I don't even know the full story of Yoko

32:59

Ono I know that she was with John Lenin

33:01

and that's about the extent that I know

33:04

but yeah she might have been a figure

33:06

skater actually I mean who knows speed

33:08

skater speed skater speed skater sorry

33:10

all right well uh dude it's a it's a

33:12

wild ride it's a wild ride but I will

33:13

tell you this Australia loved it did not

33:17

disappoint yeah I can imagine it was

33:19

amazing over there I only went to Sydney

33:21

um got a lot of friends uh that I've uh

33:24

met over the years that are out there in

33:25

Melbourne definitely want to

33:27

get out there and see you guys and see

33:29

what Melbourne has to offer but I'll

33:30

tell you what Sydney was it was a

33:32

beautiful city yeah the layout was very

33:35

uh I want to say similar to Miami but it

33:36

has a lot of inter Coastal and it was

33:38

cool to see I don't know um just the

33:41

layout of the land over there let alone

33:43

the uh the zoo and seeing all the exotic

33:45

animals and um the zoo it was fun man we

33:47

got to get to that yeah what the zoo

33:50

were there just drones above your heads

33:53

at all like where did this footage come

33:54

from no no there were a full-on

33:55

helicopters just flying around

33:57

helicopter yeah they helicoptered us

33:59

well not us that just seems like how

34:01

much yeah they don't want they don't

34:03

this is all because Taylor's the biggest

34:05

and the best thing possible yeah of

34:07

course tell you what though uh the

34:08

kangaroos were pretty sweet got to got

34:10

to see a red panda up up close in

34:12

personal Panda yeah that what it look

34:14

like dude it looked I feel like they

34:16

look like raccoons more than pandas but

34:18

it looked like a friendly raccoon you

34:20

know some raccoons look just

34:22

[ __ ] are like they're kind of cute in

34:25

the face but you know that they got like

34:27

Claws and yeah this this little guy he

34:30

was friendly was I'm not messing yeah no

34:34

you're going to you're going to you're

34:35

going to [ __ ] with the red panda though

34:36

those things were sweet yeah you don't

34:38

think it would attack you if you went in

34:39

the cage one of my favorite things is

34:41

the The Zookeeper the uh the one showing

34:43

us the red panda was like we had to go

34:45

in a cage just to go in to like see the

34:48

panda in like a like a like the panda

34:51

area yeah and they're like all right now

34:52

make sure that door's closed and when

34:54

you get out of here quickly close this

34:55

one because they are esape artist and I

34:57

was just like this thing just got so

34:59

many brownie points for me dude like oh

35:01

how many times this thing gotten out I'm

35:03

just like it's kind of got like the

35:04

little raccoons it's like a they're

35:06

sneaky individuals what dude are we just

35:10

cuz raccoons are sneaky too is it

35:12

anything that looks like it kind of has

35:13

like a built-in mask just stealthy yeah

35:17

it's like makes sense nature naturally

35:19

newe

35:20

like I have wondered this so back to the

35:23

zoo yeah I've never been to a zoo in

35:26

another country

35:27

are zoos in other countries do like do

35:29

they have animals of stuff that's in

35:31

like North America like are there like

35:33

white tailed deer in the Australian zoo

35:35

no no I didn't see it everything was

35:37

bald eag I don't even know if everything

35:39

like yeah I saw a crocodile which is

35:40

[ __ ] way bigger than alligator I

35:42

think alligators are I don't know if

35:45

they're like only in America but there

35:47

it's like most other places is crocodile

35:49

alligators like like unique to uh

35:51

believe the US okay thank God because

35:53

that thing was enormous Sal water Croc

35:56

yeah they get pretty big big and it

35:57

looked orang a living dinosaur what um

36:00

did you it's like a moose or a bear like

36:02

grizzly bear I didn't see anything they

36:05

just had their own animals what's the

36:07

point of going to the zoo if they just

36:08

got no they had some uh you go see

36:11

kangaroos they had some animals from

36:12

Asia the uh two elephants that I saw

36:14

just got out there I think in 2019 they

36:16

were from Africa all right so they got

36:18

the elephants yeah giraffes didn't see

36:21

giraffes I think the zoo was rather was

36:24

a little bit more new than uh the big

36:26

like Steve wind Zoo out there so they're

36:28

they're just now starting to get some uh

36:30

a lot of yeah but saw a tiger sitting up

36:33

in a treehouse that [ __ ] was [ __ ]

36:34

sweet I ain't going to lie it's a

36:36

treehouse yeah saw [ __ ] saw a lion up

36:38

close I saw that photo dude what that

36:42

feel like that when you hear that cuz I

36:45

would like Tay taking a

36:48

picture just just like oh my gosh yeah

36:52

let alone one you see three of them like

36:54

run down from like their like

36:57

Rock perch like knowing that they're

37:00

about to get fed Pride Rock you see how

37:02

fast and agile that thing is yeah dude

37:05

dude it's over I'm not messing with cats

37:08

don't matter what size you could tell

37:10

one was like the the big bad I was just

37:12

like damn yeah that's a badad animal

37:15

that's a that's a bad man right there

37:17

well that's pretty cool yeah it was fun

37:19

that was a fun one and then uh and then

37:21

we got to enjoy the uh the Taylor Swift

37:23

show do you feed any of the animals yeah

37:25

I was just telling you we fed a red

37:27

panda um some uh what are those little

37:30

the the big the enormous sized hamsters

37:33

starts with a

37:35

C koala is not a SE definitely fed some

37:38

uh koala some eucalyptus leaves yeah

37:41

kiar yeah oh yeah kab baras the things

37:44

were like they had like like literally

37:46

the teeth yeah the teeth were like the

37:49

size of my fingers just like right here

37:50

in yeah it's like a little rodent over

37:53

rodent it it was enormous and it was

37:54

crazy how like heavy it was and how

37:56

athletic it was for sure do you think

37:57

Winnie could have taken it no dude those

37:59

things were vicious I bet win would [ __ ]

38:01

that thing up the things were quick dude

38:03

it's more athletic no chance all right

38:06

dingo yeah we fed some dingos nice at

38:09

least I think they were dingos emu never

38:13

no I saw one ostrich yeah I saw one she

38:17

an emu or an ostrich which one I think

38:19

it was an emu I honestly what's the like

38:22

ostrich are just bigger than emu but

38:24

they kind of look similar right yeah got

38:26

them wangs but they they ain't going

38:30

nowhere a little heavy to get up in the

38:33

air yeah yeah what else did I feed uh

38:35

the eucalyptus sleeves to the

38:38

koalas mm they were uh they weren't

38:40

doing anything they were just

38:42

chilling it's what koalas do they just

38:44

chill do you do you smell the koala's

38:46

breath does it just smell like

38:47

eucalyptus at all times I didn't smell

38:49

anything no it just smelled like a zoo

38:52

the entire time so like [ __ ] yeah I was

38:55

uh petting a rhino you pet a rhino how

38:59

is that not the [ __ ] thing you lead

39:00

with it's a good point what did it feel

39:02

like it felt terrifying yeah to be even

39:05

in the same pen did it feel like a like

39:08

a leather like jacket or was this like

39:11

just got done running around in mud like

39:12

me petting it was like me like putting

39:14

my hand on a like plastered wall just

39:18

dude that thing was Rock Solid yeah it's

39:20

an impressive animal yeah no and it was

39:22

jumping around and stuff it was real

39:24

playful so they're like all right you

39:25

got to watch out it's real playful right

39:26

now I'm just like what so I got to I got

39:29

to catch it in like an even day yeah was

39:32

it a you can't be too happy can't be too

39:34

mad just kind of

39:36

well I feel I mean they're just got to

39:39

watch out for the horn or dud those

39:41

things are Majestic man yeah it's a big

39:42

animal it's a pretty it's cool thing is

39:44

you could tell how heavy that thing is

39:45

and how it could just [ __ ] you up you

39:47

just s side step it though it's probably

39:49

not very agile I tell you that thing is

39:51

agile oh yeah quick too all

39:55

right yeah you also went to a a Taylor

39:58

Sydney show I did and Sydney did not

40:02

disappoint I'm pretty sure the crowds

40:04

over there are as well they're they're

40:08

already Rowdy group right the

40:10

Australians are pretty Rowdy they like

40:11

to have a good time yeah I like to have

40:13

a good time gosh they were just like a

40:15

little bit louder than the Argentinian

40:17

crowd okay and I was not expecting that

40:20

because Argentina was [ __ ] loud and

40:23

they were they were into it and and so

40:25

was Sydney so Taylor's very fond of

40:28

performing in Australia because of uh

40:30

the crowds over there and how how into

40:33

it they get so awesome shout out to

40:35

Australia for showing up showing out all

40:36

right now one of the things that

40:38

everybody uh liked to point out was

40:40

you're in Ross's attire did you plan out

40:43

to look like and we came down we I came

40:47

uh I came downstairs from the hotel and

40:49

I saw him and I was like God damn it you

40:52

knew you were going to get the blue

40:53

immediately no I had my outfit on he had

40:55

his outfit on we were going to the car

40:57

at like great on time yeah they're like

41:00

can't change now and we were just like

41:03

we're just going to have to eat this one

41:05

eat what you guys look F they look very

41:08

Australian we look we look like you and

41:09

marshmallow at the Chiefs Afterparty you

41:12

feel like you look choreographed like

41:13

it's like it was planned and it wasn't

41:15

planned it wasn't is a tremendous show

41:18

so shout out to Blue there were there

41:20

were there were a bunch of uh of other

41:22

ones that were pretty good the M&M's was

41:24

uh pretty good yeah yeah that was pretty

41:27

good well it also looked like there were

41:28

a lot of Travis kely jerseys among the

41:30

fans out there in Sydney there was a few

41:32

there's a few there's a good there's a

41:33

good American football crowd out there

41:36

and I think just like Taylor Taylor fans

41:38

so they wanted to show their support

41:40

have you uh how do you feel about your

41:42

jersey being worn all over the uh ays

41:45

tour it's pretty [ __ ] cool to just

41:47

have your jersey being worn like even if

41:49

it's just on a day or had a football

41:52

game I only asked it because it's in

41:54

this clip I I don't care right now I

41:55

guarantee there's people out in Philly

41:57

right now wearing your jersey guarantee

41:59

it well I just retired yesterday yeah

42:01

well every day is a Jason Kel day in

42:03

Philadelphia now okay then after

42:05

Australia you went back to Vegas to

42:07

continue celebrating your Super Bowl

42:09

championship all right now why back to

42:11

Vegas you guys haven't had enough of

42:12

Vegas yet no and we had been this had

42:15

been something that we talked about as a

42:17

team like oh man when we win in Vegas

42:19

we're going to go back and like have a

42:21

good time do it right yeah hit the hit

42:24

the casino Gamble and go to the casino

42:26

cuz we couldn't we couldn't do any of

42:27

that those of you that don't know the

42:29

NFL doesn't allow you on uh when you're

42:33

didn't when you're going for the Super

42:35

Bowl they said no casinos when yeah but

42:37

even if we're just playing the Raiders

42:38

in a regular week if you're there on

42:40

business for the NFL you can't gamble or

42:43

do anything fun in Vegas and essentially

42:47

we wanted we wanted to have some fun so

42:49

we went back as a team they made some

42:50

world championship belts um I got all

42:52

the WWE ones but this one was pretty

42:54

cool uh hosting the uh or hoisting yeah

42:58

hoisting the the belt the world uh

43:01

boxing championship oh that's cool yeah

43:04

who had that on them um I did yeah I did

43:07

because I'm the World Champ I don't care

43:09

what is this an actual anybody says

43:11

about it just being an American sport or

43:13

America it I am the World Champ until

43:15

there's another uh you know football

43:19

team uh that

43:21

can even like uh remotely compete with

43:24

an NFL team I don't think that uh it's a

43:27

it's a competition yeah I'm with you

43:28

either way that was pretty cool uh I'm

43:30

the world champion the always uh sitting

43:33

on my couch with sandal because Nobody

43:35

Does it Better we got to get this man a

43:36

belt we got to get him a belt somebody

43:39

make him a sandal belt yeah so we went

43:42

back had some fun uh we had been talking

43:44

about doing it all year if we if we got

43:46

a chance to to win the Super Bowl again

43:49

and uh sure enough those memories you

43:51

get of the aftermath with the guys is um

43:55

stuff remember for the me for the rest

43:58

of my life man I think

44:00

um you've done it but the teams are

44:03

never the same and even when you repeat

44:05

it's it's and even to this day you know

44:09

a handful of decisions have been made

44:11

with the Chiefs and uh a few guys aren't

44:12

with us and um I wanted to make sure

44:15

that I got every chance to enjoy this

44:17

with those guys immediately afterwards

44:19

and I was um it was definitely well

44:20

worth it man it was definitely well

44:22

worth it we had a blast had some fun and

44:24

then I uh then I went to California and

44:26

got caught uh going to noou at the same

44:28

time as Christian mcaffrey yeah you guys

44:30

said dinner together no we didn't but if

44:32

I would have known that him and oliv

44:34

were there I would have sent over a

44:36

drink or at least came over and said

44:37

congrats on an unbelievable season got

44:39

so much respect for that guy and

44:41

obviously all the all the 49ers that we

44:42

played and um yeah if I would have knew

44:45

he was there I would have definitely

44:46

said hello but I didn't see that he was

44:47

there and sure enough TMZ is throwing it

44:49

out there that it's remarkable it really

44:51

is there's such a rush to get things out

44:54

there they're enjoying us even saying

44:56

that it wasn't yeah it's they're enjoy

44:59

it's attention to them and they just

45:01

love attention list Kylie apparently is

45:02

pregnant with our fourth child it's a

45:04

boy what no way no it's it's Kylie you

45:07

in this madeup universe thank you you

45:10

guys made you guys made a baby in Milan

45:12

that's right if she got pregnant in

45:14

Milan we got some things to answer here

45:17

um that photo of me Zack Alan AIS from

45:20

The Hangover like it's

45:23

crazy there was like a three-year-old

45:25

video Wyatt before game this year the

45:26

announcer made it seem like she was

45:28

playing Center and I'm like she was

45:30

reacting to the combine like what do we

45:33

like people just will say anything

45:35

anything that gets them likes or clicks

45:37

and people don't vet anything throw it

45:38

out there it's [ __ ] ridiculous so

45:41

don't believe everything you're reading

45:42

especially especially on what I got

45:44

going on apparently leaving the

45:49

country I'm staying in America yeah

45:52

America will always be home yeah

45:54

congrats on not having dinner

45:57

we need to shout out one of our sponsors

45:59

46:53

year you can find accelerator active

49:34

out of the house let's get to what you

49:36

guys have been waiting for after 13

49:39

years dude man it's a long time Seven

49:42

Pro bowls six First Team all pro Seasons

49:45

193 total games holy [ __ ] that's a lot

49:49

of football 156 consecutive starts which

49:52

is a record just one of those well

49:54

Eagles record records are records dude

49:56

um it's not a world record and a Super

49:59

Bowl champion with the Philadelphia

50:00

Eagles you have officially decided to

50:02

hang them up dude yeah um and we

50:05

couldn't be more proud of you man but

50:07

thanks D we got to talk about it let's

50:09

do it the retirement speech was one for

50:12

the ages ladies and gentlemen if you

50:14

haven't seen it um grab a box of Kleenex

50:17

before you do it um the guy poured his

50:19

hearts out poured his heart out as he

50:21

does uh every single time talking about

50:23

the things that he loves and um

50:25

just the uh it was beautiful to see how

50:28

grateful you are how the memories that

50:31

you uh that you've gathered over the

50:33

years with the people that uh that have

50:35

gotten you to this point in your life

50:37

and it was uh it was well said man it

50:39

was it was a beautiful thing it's been

50:40

less than 24 hours since you've made the

50:42

announcement but um how does it finally

50:44

feel that it's out there does it feel

50:46

relieved or yeah I think you you know

50:50

it's been a long time coming you know

50:52

obviously I've debated retiring for the

50:54

last few seasons

50:56

um so I think it's uh you know it got to

50:59

the point where you know I knew that

51:02

that's what I wanted to do and it was

51:05

nerve-wracking getting to that

51:07

day um but a lot of the things that I

51:10

said and um and kind of uh you know

51:15

shared are things that I wanted to share

51:17

for a long time and you wait for the

51:19

moment where it feels right to do it um

51:22

a lot of those things were notes that

51:24

I've compiled throughout my career

51:26

I like take notes on my phone so just

51:28

kind of like PL idea I need to start it

51:32

it felt good to to finally get it out

51:34

there in some ways in other ways it's

51:36

you know it's still hard and it's and it

51:40

hurts didn't look easy um it's weird

51:42

it's not like it's easy or hard to say

51:45

it it's more just like hard to like come

51:48

to grips with like the finality of it

51:50

but um yeah I was hoping I had said it

51:54

enough times that I wouldn't cry as much

51:55

as I did I think it's good to show

51:57

emotion through it but I mean I couldn't

51:59

I was sobbing before I even started so I

52:03

was defit set the tone you set the tone

52:05

for definitely the entire family let

52:07

alone everyone listening especially the

52:08

beginning portion of it got broken up a

52:11

lot but obviously um you know proud of

52:16

all the people that were there and um

52:19

you know what they've meant to me and

52:21

wanted to share that and you know yeah

52:24

who helped you the most in in deciding

52:26

all this man in deciding whether to keep

52:28

playing or not yeah what was the big

52:29

what was the biggest influence helping

52:31

you me you know and and I think that's

52:34

how I knew like in previous years like I

52:36

would reach out to other guys like Hey

52:38

how do you know when you want to stop

52:39

playing or you know stop what do you

52:41

think and the reality was I you know it

52:44

was more firm than it's ever been this

52:46

year that I just don't think physically

52:48

I can compete at the level that I want

52:51

to anymore um and the Really compete the

52:54

way I want to

52:56

um you know my elbow and little my

52:59

knees um it's just gotten to the point

53:02

where the deterioration and the recovery

53:04

from that deterioration is hasn't really

53:07

manifested on game day yet but I know

53:09

it's going to start doing that and I'd

53:11

rather um I'd really I'd really rather

53:14

not I'm hard on myself and if I go out

53:18

there and I'm not the player that I want

53:20

to be yeah uh it'll crush me so um I

53:23

feel very confident in the decision I've

53:25

made um I know that it's time uh I've

53:29

had a really good run and uh but you

53:33

know that's the biggest reason why was

53:35

everybody in the in the facility leading

53:37

up to this moment like dude don't do it

53:40

do I think everybody knows people people

53:43

want on some level people want me to

53:44

stay there was it like wolf on Wall

53:46

Street like dude he's not going to

53:47

really do it is he I don't know I think

53:50

uh I think at the end of the day

53:52

everybody just wants you know what I

53:54

want at this point and I think you know

53:56

people still want me to play if I want

53:58

to but if you don't want to you

54:00

shouldn't do it and you know the reality

54:02

is I don't I don't want to do that

54:04

anymore and um sure there's parts of me

54:07

that want to like there'll always be

54:09

parts of me that want to go out on game

54:11

day and play and want to compete and um

54:15

want to be there with your teammates

54:17

like that stuff will never go away but

54:19

just the the the the physical portion is

54:22

at a point that it's it's not a desire

54:25

to continue to do and not something I

54:28

think I can do and be happy about it so

54:30

yeah it's over and um and that's good

54:32

you know I think it's certainly

54:36

uh terrifying in some ways because you

54:39

know I've only really played football my

54:40

whole life yeah so we got to try and

54:42

figure something else out luckily this

54:44

podcast and all of our fans and

54:46

everybody have there's some

54:47

opportunities now and that and that's

54:49

great um that's a but at the end of the

54:52

day it's still a new chapter um um I'm

54:55

incredibly excited about what could

54:57

happen and also uh nervous about you

55:00

know what life is going to look like now

55:02

walk us through that outfit of choice

55:04

yeah was that your press conference

55:05

outfit is that like you you you wanted

55:07

to go into that thing yeah so you start

55:09

I guess I start out the day that's the

55:10

first choice you got to make you know

55:12

you're like all right what am I going to

55:13

wear to this thing who am I going to

55:14

dress up as it's like suit and tie is

55:17

what most people wear and I'm like that

55:18

wouldn't feel right like I don't think

55:21

you know for me I don't think it's not a

55:23

wedding you know

55:27

only time I've ever seen you wear suit

55:28

and tie I'm wear a suit and tie when I

55:30

have to and that's about it and I'm

55:32

trying I'm walking through like okay do

55:33

I wear like a Cleveland Heights shirt do

55:34

I wear Like an Eagle shirt I open one of

55:37

the drawers and this is like a shirt

55:40

that has holes in it and I've worn and

55:43

practiced and and did every year I've

55:46

lifted weights in it yeah um and I'm

55:48

like you know what this shirt in some

55:50

ways was a part of this journey with me

55:53

more than anything else in this

55:55

closet so wear this then we got there

55:58

and uh you know a lot of people don't

56:00

know this but my trainer one of the

56:02

trainers to the Eagles has been battling

56:04

cancer all season long and he's been

56:07

there my entire career too Joe appella

56:10

and um shout out Joe thankfully he's in

56:12

remission they don't have any signs of

56:14

it yeah Joe they're still gon to I think

56:16

do an operation to you know really make

56:19

sure but um he's looking good but he

56:22

wasn't able to tape me for any of the

56:24

games this year and he's tap my ankles

56:25

my whole career so he taped my ankles

56:26

for the press conference One Last Time

56:29

nice man so I had ankle tape on with

56:31

sandals so yeah that was what went into

56:34

I guess the attire nice yeah well shout

56:36

out Joe we'll see you at se dude yeah

56:38

well I'll see you for he hasn't drank at

56:41

all he he's he's gone completely vegan

56:43

cut out alcohol completely to try and

56:46

you know really give his body the best

56:48

chance of fighting it off with chemo and

56:49

everything and it's worked but uh he's

56:52

finally he's asked the doctor like can

56:54

he have a beer year on St Patrick's Day

56:55

and they're like there's no evidence to

56:57

say that you can't so nice we're going

56:59

to enjoy some some beverages for St

57:01

Patrick's Day have a nice look yeah just

57:03

just one just one beard never hurt

57:05

anybody or

57:07

two well the speech was uh was

57:09

unbelievable as good of a football

57:11

player you are man you a professional

57:14

speaker is I mean it's got to be in the

57:16

next line of work whether it's here on

57:19

the podcast or you running for president

57:21

whichever one you want to do I'm sure

57:22

you can you can do well yeah it's easy

57:25

I think it's really easy to give

57:26

speeches when you are just reciting what

57:29

you lived and What You've

57:31

experienced I don't know that I can you

57:34

know go up in front of a corporation and

57:37

give a speech about that you know I mean

57:41

for me to just recant all the people

57:43

that have been really meaningful in my

57:44

life and all the experien I've had with

57:46

my teammates in the city yeah like I'm

57:49

just reciting history so to me it's it

57:52

makes it easier and I felt the same way

57:53

about the parade spee Beach like I

57:56

didn't say anything up there that wasn't

57:59

like I didn't make anything up it was

58:00

all out there so that's what makes it

58:02

easy like to come up with like something

58:06

off the cuff that I think it would be a

58:08

lot harder so this one was easy to write

58:11

i' had already written it for like 13

58:13

years like I said I take notes I wake up

58:16

at times and had these thoughts on my

58:17

head and just jot them

58:19

down really the only thing I had to do

58:21

is figure out the order when I'm putting

58:23

everything did you you did that was it

58:25

just you or did you have any so I read

58:27

the first draft to Brett strosacker he

58:30

works in our media Department with the

58:31

Eagles well actually I read the first

58:33

draft to Kylie and then I read the first

58:36

draft to Brett and both of them had like

58:38

oh you should you put this person in

58:40

there should you put that person like I

58:41

didn't you know I don't know if you

58:43

should make a big dick Nick

58:45

joke I'm like [ __ ] you and dude it was

58:49

so good I text Nick to make sure he was

58:50

okay with it and he was like he of

58:53

course he was like like yeah you tell

58:55

everybody but the surprising one was

58:57

when he said I asked Tori and Tori his

58:59

wife and Tori gave the okay that was the

59:01

surprising part I was like okay all

59:02

right Tori thanks

59:05

Tor everyone enjoyed it a lot of people

59:08

are saying it was their favorite part of

59:09

it yeah so I think you kind of you know

59:12

you start with a framework I decide to

59:14

go chronologically for the most part and

59:16

save the most meaningful people and

59:19

stories and messages for the ending

59:21

portion we all reciting some memor of

59:25

the most uh impactful things that

59:27

happened throughout my career so kind of

59:29

settled into that

59:32

framework and then you know rewrote it a

59:35

few times changed things up added things

59:37

here and there I think the the section

59:39

on you with

59:41

like was like I changed that day of like

59:45

hey I'm trying to think like I got to

59:47

say more about like growing up with

59:49

traff like what what else and I'm like

59:50

oh yeah like playing in the backyard

59:53

like you know playing we played multiple

59:56

Super Bowls before we ever left the

59:57

house like you know we we envisioned

59:59

ourselves being Jim Tomy Carlos bayera

60:02

like uh you know I think you so that

60:05

stuff kind of went in last second I

60:08

still I'm trying to be Carlos

60:10

Bayer yeah I mean he was a k LOF you

60:13

name it D that whole Guardians every if

60:15

you were a sports figure in Cleveland we

60:17

imagined our the 90s Indians were were

60:19

huge though that those were the teams in

60:22

Cleveland the Browns left in the '90s so

60:24

even have a football team yeah just

60:26

became a fan of the

60:27

game drone Bettis was my guy bus I was a

60:31

far guy Drome Bettis and Mike allot were

60:34

and then Brian ER lacer Ray

60:37

Lewis you were who I was five yeah huge

60:42

I thought I had a cannon like him too

60:43

man D gun you did you could th no you

60:46

could thr it before you tore your lb

60:49

room you could you could chuck that

60:50

thing now that we got some more time you

60:51

is there anybody that you want to give a

60:54

shout out out to they

60:55

you just I don't even want to do that I

60:58

don't want to do that right now because

60:59

there's going to be people I'm going to

61:00

leave off if I'm just randomly ripping

61:02

that out the top of my head delete that

61:04

yeah no listen I you know there's a lot

61:06

of people I want to thank um teammates

61:08

and like so many people have reached out

61:10

since yesterday so cool to see I have

61:12

text nobody back because it's it's a lot

61:16

a boy I'm dreading having to try and get

61:18

through all these at the same time I'm

61:20

excited because there's a lot of

61:21

meaningful people that have texted me

61:22

and reached out listen this is why

61:24

football is so special um you know

61:27

unlike any other sport especially

61:28

offensive line like this is what's crazy

61:31

I am a

61:32

center like I make no plays on my own my

61:36

job is just to facilitate an environment

61:39

where other guys can make plays and um

61:42

you know I'm still being celebrated and

61:45

talked about on a level and I think

61:47

that's awesome for the other guys that

61:49

play my position and and for the other

61:52

kids that play offensive line like it's

61:54

large usually been in unheralded

61:55

position for a long time um and in some

62:00

ways I think the offensive line

62:01

symbolizes the the sport better than

62:03

anything else you know there's we're all

62:06

ultimately relying on the guys next to

62:08

us and the coach and what they're

62:09

calling and you know the the the systems

62:12

you're running physicality of the game

62:14

it's such a dependent game there's be

62:16

there'd be too many people to than and

62:18

try and hit by listing off you know all

62:21

of my teammates and coaches and people

62:24

in the building and you know T Roy our

62:27

janitor you know I mean Tony like I mean

62:29

it's it's ridiculous and um so you know

62:33

tried to limit it to really just like

62:37

the people that for sure made like a

62:38

very pointed impact um and then of of

62:42

course the the head figures at each

62:45

level you know that's the beauty of

62:47

football it's the the most complete Team

62:49

game that there is ever yeah um in my

62:52

mind and man we love teaming up

62:55

well I

62:57

um we did not talk about much of your

63:00

retirement and I I wanted to make sure

63:02

that

63:03

you you didn't feel any pressure from me

63:06

to keep going knowing I I wanted you to

63:09

keep going I wanted you to keep playing

63:10

this G you why didn't you tell me this I

63:11

would have changed my mind no no no I

63:14

didn't

63:15

I you've uh you've always been a step

63:19

ahead of me in um in this game yeah but

63:22

it's in this game alone you've always

63:24

been a step ahead of me and it's always

63:26

been like I've had that flotation device

63:29

right there and um it's uh to have uh to

63:34

have you out of it man it feels uh it

63:36

feels empty and it definitely um it

63:40

feels

63:42

like it's a um it's complete you know

63:46

it's uh it was a

63:53

success

63:54

I hear

63:56

you yeah was that it was a fun ass

63:59

journey to watch and

64:03

uh and like I said yesterday man I just

64:06

appreciate you showing me the way and uh

64:09

bringing us all along the journey with

64:11

you big guy we we showed each other the

64:13

way um I think it's I appreciate it

64:16

listen I'm out of playing but I'm still

64:17

going to be you know I'm still going to

64:19

the games like I said you I've been you

64:22

know you you've been playing for a long

64:23

time on your own and and I look forward

64:26

to being able to appreciate and watch

64:28

your games more and um take in the

64:31

bigger picture of football and

64:33

everything that it has to offer um while

64:36

still remaining local in Philadelphia

64:38

like I'll never not be there but um

64:41

definitely looking forward to I don't

64:44

know it's it's a different chapter and

64:45

in some ways I'll be able to experience

64:48

more things and do um things that I've

64:51

never done before which is exciting well

64:53

it was just uh it was cool being being

64:55

uh being the tag

64:57

team of the National Football

65:00

Le pretty cool [ __ ]

65:04

um yeah I didn't talk to you about it um

65:06

I let you kind of do your own thing and

65:08

I um I could have been more proud

65:11

listening to you yesterday and it's just

65:13

um it's been U it's been a lot of uh lot

65:16

of emotions a lot of sad emotions a lot

65:18

of exciting emotions I mean you got the

65:20

you got the [ __ ] world in in your

65:22

palm right now dude and um you got three

65:24

little ones that I know you're you're

65:26

dying to watch grow up and oh yeah it's

65:28

uh it's just a a lot of a lot of uh a

65:31

lot of future excit exciting future

65:34

things that we have to look forward to

65:36

absolutely and um yeah it's

65:39

uh yeah so back to the speech

65:43

um can I yeah can I see the kleenex real

65:46

quick so I can just over I'm sorry I

65:49

would be crying more but I wasted all of

65:51

my Tears yeah but you know I got plenty

65:54

of

65:56

those I'll probably break down here at

65:58

some point you hit the intensity of the

66:00

Philly fans man and it was awesome you

66:02

uh you hit it spot on you've been spot

66:03

on with it your entire career um here in

66:08

uh here in Bernstein Jason your guy tell

66:11

you that Philly is an awesome City

66:12

you're going to love it um you embodied

66:14

that place um before you even knew you

66:17

embodied it and uh your toughness your

66:20

your desire for for excellence your your

66:23

dve to be the best and not settle for

66:26

anything other than that the way you

66:28

talked about the Philly fan base was so

66:30

spoton and it just um man it honestly

66:33

being here in Philly I for the past 13

66:37

years I feel like I've become a part of

66:39

this Sports town so random um I was a

66:42

huge Flyers fan growing up uh because of

66:45

Eric Lindros and John lir and um for you

66:48

to come in here and become um Idols like

66:52

that for kids uh has been pretty PR damn

66:54

cool did you always want to make uh the

66:56

announcement alongside the the Eagles

66:57

organization was that kind of like in

66:59

your mind to like stay a Philadelphia

67:02

Eagle your entire career or well yeah

67:04

you want to I mean I've been very

67:05

blessed to have that opportunity I even

67:08

talked about in the speech that almost

67:09

didn't happen right like there's so many

67:12

things that need to go right for you to

67:13

stay in one spot you know the

67:15

organization has to want you financially

67:18

it has to work

67:19

out and then you got to want to continue

67:21

to play in the same spot and I think

67:24

it's really hard to do in any sport in

67:26

in today's age like it just it's very

67:28

rare that both of those

67:31

sides and the financial thing line up

67:34

for your whole career yeah so it was a

67:36

goal you know I talked about it you know

67:38

we saw everybody leav in Cleveland did

67:41

Big Z ever play anywhere else that's the

67:42

only guy that I think junis so junis

67:44

might have been the only one he's the

67:46

only one you know it's not like listen I

67:48

still love Jim Tomy I love Manny and all

67:50

the guys that played in Cleveland but

67:52

it's you know it's it there's something

67:54

that happens when when somebody leaves

67:56

that I think is especially as a kid you

67:59

it's it's awkward or different W

68:01

wrapping your head around it and um you

68:04

know I've been very lucky and fortunate

68:07

to stay in Philadelphia and it was

68:08

certainly a goal and I'm happy that it

68:11

happened was there any other way that

68:12

you were going to do this announcement

68:14

like were you going to like jump in

68:16

through the table were you just about to

68:17

like all right I'm done and then just

68:18

like jump on the burning table did it

68:21

ever cross your mind you're going to do

68:22

it any other way no I think did I wanted

68:24

to do it uh at the facility in a press

68:28

conference with people in the

68:29

organization there I think that that

68:32

felt right there's too too many of those

68:34

people that were a part of it just as

68:35

much as I was so yeah yeah that was the

68:38

only way I ever envisioned it well you

68:40

uh you talked about some of your

68:41

favorite moments in your speech

68:42

obviously and you had some great shout

68:44

outs to the the 879 your speech uh coach

68:48

serani sending you the Kegs and uh of

68:50

course Nikki Foles in the Philly special

68:52

did you ever um do you think that any

68:55

other retirement speech past or present

68:57

will ever mention a

68:58

teammate's shalong how should we put

69:01

this Hammer sausage um I mean I hope

69:07

not I hope it doesn't become like common

69:09

place that everybody's just referencing

69:11

who's got the biggest day how can I

69:12

thank him it's just so legendary I felt

69:14

like it like it needed to be a part of

69:17

it yeah dude it was so perfect because

69:20

it was obviously it was very emotional

69:22

you do a great job of keeping light and

69:24

fun and yeah you that was such a good

69:27

[ __ ] mix in some moments where people

69:28

can have a laugh here and there got to

69:31

yeah I mean listen that was a iconic

69:33

moment of the Super Bowl and you know

69:36

Nick and Doug together somehow decided

69:38

to call it trick play on fourth down and

69:42

um it ended up being you know one of the

69:44

biggest plays in football history at

69:46

this point so yeah that had to be in

69:48

there it was in there I didn't it wasn't

69:50

as colorful at first and I was like you

69:51

know what screw this let's full

69:54

Jason Kel style the only way to do it

69:56

come I think there was I don't want to

69:57

say a little bit of Doubt but there was

69:59

a little bit of question of whether or

70:00

not you

70:01

would get or transpire in the league as

70:05

you did in college like become as

70:07

successful in the NFL as everyone you

70:10

know there's that question for everybody

70:11

when I saw you taking

70:13

Snaps with Michael Vic yeah man that

70:18

that

70:18

like that put you in Heroes world for me

70:24

kind of like di down and like dim the

70:26

lights on like the stars that we imagine

70:30

growing up that Holy Smokes like they're

70:32

in the NFL yeah you made it more

70:35

achievable for a guy like me knowing

70:37

that we come from the same place we're

70:39

at the same school there's questions but

70:42

at the same time you're still performing

70:44

even with the best that do it in the

70:46

National Football League that we look at

70:47

as Gods because they're the best to ever

70:50

do it everybody ask like when did you

70:51

know you were going to play in the NFL

70:52

and that's when it becomes reality is

70:54

when you see people you know like you

70:56

had me because I was older but I had you

70:59

know Trevor Canfield Barry

71:01

Coffield uh you know uh like you Marty

71:05

Gillard Haruki Nakamura like you you see

71:08

these guys you practice with every day

71:10

start to play in the league and you're

71:11

like hey you know I competed with you

71:14

know these guys in practice every day

71:16

and now they're getting a chance so then

71:18

it becomes a reality that you're going

71:19

to get an opportunity and I you know I

71:20

still remember the first time I snapped

71:22

it to Mike the first two quarterbacks I

71:24

snapped to are Michael Vic and Vince

71:25

Young like two absolute freaking Legends

71:29

it might have been Mike kfka too not as

71:31

much of a legend love cfis Mike um way

71:34

you get in there yeah it was incredible

71:35

it was it was you know it was that was

71:38

the first moment where you're like holy

71:40

[ __ ] I'm snapping the ball to The Human

71:43

Highlight re what is happening right now

71:45

the experience this this changed quick

71:48

and it was really quick because my first

71:50

year was the lockout year oh yeah so you

71:53

didn't get

71:54

had no offseason all offseason you had

71:56

to be away from the club and they lifted

71:58

it for like a couple weeks for like the

71:59

first either day or two day guys that

72:01

were drafted but any third third uh

72:04

Third Day guy or undrafted guy like I

72:07

showed up I don't the like a couple days

72:10

before training camp started and I got

72:11

the Playbook then and I met those guys

72:15

for the first time at training camp and

72:16

then I'm snapping it to him I'm like

72:18

what the heck is going on right now this

72:19

is

72:20

crazy Lehigh Valley yeah was a me I I'll

72:24

remember that day forever man I I was

72:26

running around UC showing the picture

72:27

cuz that's all I had was a picture of it

72:29

I didn't obiously no video of it or

72:31

anything Sant Samuels like revving up

72:34

the crowd because there's a bunch of

72:35

people that was free to come and like uh

72:40

the first time I hit a sled and this is

72:42

what was cool about Lehi which you know

72:45

it the dorm sucked you guys still go off

72:47

campus but we stopped that a long time

72:48

ago but I mean the first time I ever hit

72:50

a sled it was like you know dude's

72:53

drinking beer right behind me like

72:55

cheering me on I'm like this is way

72:56

different than Cincinnati like over

72:59

there the we had like pig people yeah it

73:02

was it was cool Stout was a major major

73:06

part of your speech uh you quoted them a

73:08

few times uh Thrice if I remember

73:10

correctly and of course ending with the

73:12

hungry dogs run baby I'm still hungry I

73:15

can't run fast anymore that's the

73:18

problem I don't know dude I'm a porch

73:20

dog

73:21

now like that basset pound just freaking

73:25

letting know letting everybody know when

73:26

someone's coming that's right you still

73:28

got some bark but not a lot of bite yeah

73:31

obviously you talked to him a lot

73:33

throughout this entire uh entire uh

73:36

retirement um question even before this

73:39

year um are there any other uh like did

73:42

you talk to him after and just have any

73:45

actual closure I know I know what he

73:46

meant to your career we've talked about

73:48

Stout and I have talked about I mean

73:50

we've we've shared you know fears and

73:53

words at the end of the last four

73:55

seasons cuz we didn't know if it was

73:57

going to be over or not yeah so I think

73:59

it's you know we've talked about a lot

74:00

of this stuff already it's the first

74:02

time we've really talked publicly about

74:03

a lot of it and to be clear like I

74:05

Harbor

74:06

no

74:08

like you like I said in the speech I

74:11

would have gotten rid of me too in 2016

74:13

like I played really bad to start the

74:14

season and I don't know that there was

74:17

enough good tape at the end of the

74:18

season to Warrant uh keeping me in the

74:21

future mhm I think Stout really firmly

74:24

believed that I still had enough

74:27

strengths and upside and he really

74:30

firmly believe if I stopped putting my

74:32

hands up high on these big fat [ __ ]

74:34

defensive tackles that I would stop

74:35

getting pushed back and sure enough he

74:37

was

74:38

right um you know early in your care

74:41

yeah and like early in your career

74:43

especially before my sport turnia

74:44

surgery that was a big turning point for

74:46

me because you lose a little bit of

74:48

strength when you have that surgery I

74:50

think yeah and you know early in my

74:52

career I was under size but I was very

74:54

very strong and I could get away with

74:57

musling guys who were bigger than me and

75:00

uh after that surgery and then after we

75:04

went away from the tempo offense so the

75:06

big guys weren't as Gass all the time

75:09

yeah things that I was

75:11

doing that weren't good technique but

75:13

getting away with caught up and they

75:15

caught up quick yeah that makes sense

75:17

and I think Stout really saw that he was

75:20

like dude I don't care if you're 400 lb

75:22

if your hands are up here you're going

75:24

to get thrown into the quarterback right

75:26

get your hands up under him you know

75:28

play with leverage right take them off

75:29

the ground and if you play with leverage

75:31

you can survive in this league at the

75:33

weight you're at like that's not the

75:35

issue right you have the hips and the

75:37

strength to Anchor at an undersiz as

75:40

long as you use you know

75:43

physics so it's um you know he he really

75:48

firmly believed that and we saw a trans

75:50

it wasn't like all offseason it was

75:52

unique like we started that transition

75:53

in the season and it got corrected at

75:55

the end of the season like we played

75:57

Baltimore and Baltimore I mean huge

75:59

defensive tackles big

76:01

guys yeah it was one of my best games of

76:03

the season so you can survive uh with

76:07

proper technique and things and a

76:08

lighter weight and I think um there was

76:12

questions from anybody who isn't as

76:14

involved on that because they're like

76:16

you know they can't guarantee I'm going

76:17

to fix this but I think Stout saw the

76:20

corrections happening and there was

76:22

still the upside of my athleticism and

76:23

downfield blocking and all the things he

76:25

wanted to utilize as well and you know

76:28

my ability to make calls and do all that

76:30

stuff like that's a big part of the game

76:32

that he didn't want to lose he was the

76:34

pivotal guy that really convinced people

76:37

I think to not move on um and credit to

76:40

them for trusting him you know what I

76:42

mean like listen that's a big amount of

76:44

Faith to put in a position coach like

76:47

you know there's other there's head

76:49

coaches there's GMS there's Scouts every

76:52

Scouts it's like all these people are

76:54

like man you know it's I guess we can

76:56

trust out for another year yeah and

76:58

luckily it it it worked out for

77:00

everybody involved hell yeah dude and

77:02

we've all had her ups and downs I mean

77:05

mentioned in Howe was you know he was in

77:07

the other side of the closet that one

77:08

year like uh you know Stout has had his

77:11

ups and downs and you know that's what

77:13

you know life is that's what the NFL is

77:16

there's going to be these down times you

77:17

guys saw that this year firsthand you

77:19

know halfway through the season nobody

77:21

thought you guys were winning another

77:22

Super Bowl and you guys had the

77:24

fortitude to stick with it and Eagles

77:26

are dealing with that right now one of

77:27

the things that I'm like very much

77:31

like I don't like the one thing that I'm

77:34

disappointed about retiring right now is

77:37

I'm retiring when the Eagles had

77:39

potentially the biggest collapse in the

77:40

history of the organization not

77:42

potentially probably the most and the

77:45

reason I say that I'm upset about that

77:48

is I really truly think the Eagles are

77:51

going to ball out next year I I think

77:53

all of those guys there's still a

77:55

tremendous amount of talent there

77:58

they've hired two really good coaches

78:00

that are going to be able to offer A New

78:03

Perspective and look at things with a

78:05

fresh lens I think Jaylen Herz is a

78:07

tremendous quarterback I know it wasn't

78:09

a good end of the year for him or for

78:11

anybody on offense yeah there's no doubt

78:13

in that but there's still so many pieces

78:15

there's plenty of cap space I know how

78:17

he's going to make some moves to improve

78:19

the things that need to get fixed he

78:20

always does you know I'm I just really

78:23

think there's going to be one hell of a

78:25

bounceback from the Philadelphia Eagles

78:27

next year and it really pains me that

78:31

you know I'll be a part of it in some

78:33

way like I'm still going to go down the

78:34

facilities I'm still going to help out

78:36

in any way I can uh but I'm also going

78:38

to be doing other things and I'm not a

78:40

I'm not gonna be on the field doing it

78:41

with those guys but I can damn sure at

78:44

least appreciate it from afar I like

78:46

that is one thing I'm really um upset

78:50

about the timing of but it is what it is

78:52

it's just just you know I have to enjoy

78:55

it in a different way yeah well those

78:59

uh yeah well Stout had an amazing thing

79:02

to he threw out on the uh the Twitter X

79:06

um Jason some of my finest coaching

79:08

moments have been by your side these

79:10

past 11 years I'm so proud of the player

79:12

you've worked to become and the Legacy

79:14

you've built I'll I'll miss having you

79:16

by my side um it's been an honor and I

79:19

congratulate you and all on the

79:21

incredible career man and um it was was

79:23

cool just hearing him yeah uh last night

79:25

at uh at the dinner and hearing him say

79:28

you know how how happy he was that uh

79:31

that you're in a good place and that

79:33

you're you're you're there for it and

79:35

man um just got so much respect for that

79:37

guy um do you have any stou isms and

79:41

we've been talking about we've been

79:43

talking about this I mean we we heard

79:44

three quotes we got to get these St we

79:47

got to get you lane Jordan to just and

79:50

even bring bring in JP JP's probably got

79:53

some good stou isms yeah I mean if you

79:55

ask enough guys they'd all

79:57

remember you know enough of them yeah

80:01

and some of them are just so like off

80:03

the cuff and they're hilarious in the

80:05

moment I can't don't even know if I'll

80:07

say it but like he has this one thing

80:10

that he well he has a bunch of like you

80:12

know there's you know I said the three

80:14

like no man is an I MA strs from others

80:16

hungry dogs run faster um you know uh

80:20

often times the easy way is the wrong

80:21

way that's like pound and salid up a fat

80:23

lady's ass when it's a a hard Run play

80:27

to run into a good defense I don't know

80:29

why that makes sense but it kind of does

80:32

not the most politically correct at all

80:34

times um an absolute gem uh there's a

80:37

lot of other ones that are more

80:38

politically correct but I can't think of

80:40

them right now those ones stick out

80:42

really hard you know Lobster Lobster man

80:44

if you're like using your hands if

80:46

you're just like laying them on top like

80:47

they're like claws like you know I I'll

80:51

yeah I'll have to start jotting down

80:52

some of the ones it's like I don't know

80:54

him from Adam's house cat who the [ __ ]

80:56

is Adam's house cat like what are you

80:58

talking about dude you know he's got

81:00

he's got so many just like off the- wall

81:03

he's a fresh baby dude it it is

81:05

tremendous fresh no doubt well uh shout

81:08

out to Stout appreciate you always

81:10

having my guys back man let's get into

81:12

what's next is a retirement edition of

81:15

we got to ask but you don't got to

81:17

answer all right mhm first things first

81:19

did you finally get rid of or clean out

81:20

that [ __ ] Locker I mean

81:23

somebody did they cleaned it up for you

81:25

that's when you're done playing they

81:27

just threw it in a U-Haul and it's like

81:29

hey it's down at the uh storage unit

81:31

when you get done uh playing they move

81:33

that stuff quick they got to make room

81:36

so the locker is for the most part

81:38

cleaned out I didn't actually didn't go

81:39

and check it if everything got moved out

81:41

of there yet but um it is definitely

81:44

clean they can finally clean the

81:45

carpeting underneath all the boxes and

81:48

stuff that was piling up there was still

81:51

a bunch of jerseys and ow so many guys

81:53

jerseys I'm ter we've talked about that

81:55

before like I got to send out probably

81:59

like I mean probably over 20 jerseys to

82:01

guys that I own to dude I owe the entire

82:04

uh Patriots tight end unit Jersey all

82:08

three of them Brown Henry maybe that's

82:11

my next I still I love you guys I'm

82:13

still I promise you I'm gonna get them

82:15

out I'm gonna get them out yeah

82:17

obviously you don't know exactly what

82:19

you're doing uh over the offseason other

82:21

than uh becoming a full-time cattle

82:23

farmer in Missouri full um do you know

82:25

how how you're going to spend some of

82:27

this time coming up this offseason or I

82:29

don't you know I think um I'm trying to

82:32

figure out what I'm going to do um

82:34

during the season whether that's tou

82:37

yeah get ahead on that yeah well you

82:39

know obviously I'm not going to be a

82:40

full-time coach but is there a level

82:42

that I can help out the team still or

82:45

help out uh young guys whatever figure

82:48

out if there's a role there coach Kels

82:50

you just need to stopwatch stop watching

82:53

a whistle dude an advisor I can see it

82:56

shirt already tucked in I am a tucked in

82:58

shirt guy I don't know why but feels

83:03

right um I look forward to doing stuff

83:05

that's not football like I've done I've

83:06

been so committed to the sport for so

83:09

long 36 years I you you really like it's

83:13

embarrassing when your wife knows how to

83:15

do more housework around the like like I

83:17

can't she her dad's an electrician she

83:20

can fish wires Kylie can fish wires and

83:22

like Jason you don't know how to you

83:24

know how to fish a wire yes when did you

83:26

ever fish a wire um when I was

83:28

connecting my uh speakers that Aunt Judy

83:31

gave me started cutting and tying really

83:34

yeah no I'm talking about like in walls

83:37

no yeah this is never done that that's

83:39

what I'm talking about like she's like

83:40

she could like put in a new outlet if

83:41

she wanted to it's probably a step ahead

83:44

of what Happ yeah exactly got it um so

83:47

yeah I don't shout out to Kai for being

83:49

the handyman around the house I like

83:50

experiencing new things and you know

83:52

I've always wanted like I I like to show

83:54

for and fire I want to go to a

83:56

blacksmith and make a freaking knife I

83:57

think that'd be that'd be fun count me

83:59

in on that one don't do that without me

84:01

you want to go I want to make a sword

84:03

yeah well a sword is a whole another

84:04

undertaken I don't know that we're good

84:06

enough to just go in there and make a

84:07

sword we can samurai sword you make some

84:10

metal hot enough you can you can you can

84:12

pound it into an

84:13

edge a samurai sword you want to go

84:16

straight to like the most complex like I

84:18

want a fruit ninja in real

84:19

life let's go do it all right all right

84:23

you grow the fruit I'll get the samurai

84:25

is there a player you're glad that

84:26

you'll never line up against ever

84:29

again mine was JJ Watt when he retired I

84:32

was like thank God that guy's out of

84:34

here [ __ ] by the way JJ hit us and was

84:37

like dude we got to get on the ice I

84:39

want to go and I saw him out there on

84:40

the ice and it looked electric yeah he

84:42

was doing I saw some he was doing some

84:43

one-timers dude yeah it was good

84:45

ironically I reached out to a guy that's

84:47

given Wyatt skating lessons before and I

84:49

think I'm going to get out with him

84:51

Wyatt and Elliot out on the ice nice get

84:53

him get him going early we're about

84:55

we're about Wyatt's age you you might

84:57

have been I I didn't start skating until

84:59

I was like seven or eight I started a

85:00

little bit later than what you would

85:01

ideally want a kid to start at I tried

85:04

to get her out earlier she was like two

85:05

and a half when I first got her out

85:06

there too early she was not [ __ ] with

85:09

her she was terrified and yeah so was I

85:11

just got to I think it'll help that I

85:13

can go out with her now too though like

85:15

I'm going to go out on the ice and I

85:16

think if Dad's out there with them cuz

85:18

it was the same thing like gymnastics

85:19

like gymnastics you want nothing to do

85:20

with the trampoline and the moment like

85:22

Kylie and I are there with her like then

85:25

she's into it but yeah yeah nice so no

85:28

player that you're like I mean Aaron

85:30

Donald I guess like but I didn't really

85:32

line up against Aaron that much like I

85:35

don't like I don't I there were players

85:38

that were hard to line up against but

85:39

often times those are the guys that you

85:41

liked playing against the most like I

85:43

hear you biggest challenge yeah well it

85:45

was just like you know it

85:47

was it meant a little bit more I mean

85:49

there's guys that kick my ass for sure

85:51

but um you know that doesn't mean that I

85:54

didn't like trying to beat

85:58

him just what I had to do yeah exactly

86:01

like you know it's it it sucked losing

86:03

some of the Reps but you know when you

86:05

won the ones it meant that much more did

86:07

you give any advice to cam cam Jurgens I

86:10

mean think he's he's a pro pro he's a

86:12

Pros pro at this point right yeah he's

86:14

going into his third year and I'm you

86:16

know listen he's a he's a friend and a

86:17

teammate he always will be so I'll

86:20

always be able to offer advice yeah um

86:22

and talk to him I think you know he is

86:26

going to be an incredible Center I

86:28

really do I think he was great for at G

86:30

guard Force last year um his traits are

86:34

going to be uh very very well used at

86:37

that position with Jeff Stalin in

86:39

particular I don't think you know as

86:41

much as sometimes you know some part of

86:44

me like it'd be nice if there was a drop

86:45

off of the position it's like yeah that

86:47

was really it's not gonna happen it's G

86:49

he's gonna step in and do great they got

86:51

to figure out guard um and you know they

86:55

drafted Steen last year Su a I don't I

86:57

don't know how some of these free agents

86:59

and contracts are going to shape up or

87:00

who is or who isn't you you have sua

87:03

Jack Driscoll um you know there's

87:05

there's a bunch of guys that could do it

87:08

I'm sure they'll bring in new players or

87:10

already have yeah there's still the

87:12

draft to come up so we'll see who ends

87:15

up claiming that Right Guard spot but

87:17

the line is in very very good shape um

87:19

that's just the reality of it and Cam's

87:21

going to be a tremendous Center um and

87:25

you know barring anything happening

87:27

he'll he'll be good for a while for the

87:29

Philadelphia Eagles yeah can wait to see

87:30

cam step into the role man yeah um on

87:33

the list of your career achievements

87:34

though I mean where does this one rank

87:36

the Eagles um misspelled your name when

87:39

you got drafted on Twitter did you know

87:42

this um no yeah they um when they

87:45

announced the Tweet of you getting

87:46

drafted the Eagles # Eagles uh select

87:49

Jason

87:50

Kelce hey L SE y from Cincinnati with

87:54

the 191st pick um completely botched

87:57

your name and now you're the greatest

88:00

player to ever play in in in the Eagles

88:03

uniform how yeah where's that at they

88:05

they know how to spell your name at

88:06

least now it's probably going to be on

88:07

the stadium at some point I I firmly I

88:10

firmly like that most of my career had

88:13

to be earned and I mean this I it is

88:17

crazy how over I'm overrated I am shut

88:21

the fu dude listen to me dude you're so

88:23

ridiculous I'm not even close to the

88:25

best Eagle in my time with the

88:27

Philadelphia Eagles like Fletcher Cox

88:30

Jason Peters Lane Johnson away from any

88:32

of them dude just listen to me for a

88:34

second there are so many people that

88:37

have meant more to wins and losses and

88:39

have been better players maybe in the

88:41

stat book not just the stat book like I

88:44

couldn't Block Fletcher Cox one-on-one

88:46

like it's a legitimate thing so it's um

88:50

that's fair but I do know

88:52

that the the credit that I've gotten has

88:55

been because of the work that's been put

88:57

in and um you know they didn't know how

89:00

to spell my name back then but they know

89:02

how to spell it now and um I like the

89:06

fact that they didn't know how to spell

89:07

it back then yeah all right so it's up

89:09

there sweet you had a great joke in your

89:11

speech calling Darren sprouls

89:14

48 spr sprouls reached out to me yeah he

89:17

did he he reached out he's a godamn it

89:20

Kel we love sprouls man man he's 5'6

89:23

just for those of you it's a roster

89:25

height

89:29

yeah Mighty might he's the best electric

89:33

Human Highlight real man and uh

89:35

hypothetical a team calls you only wants

89:37

you to come in on fourth one and run the

89:39

tush push would you sign that contract I

89:43

no I wouldn't do that but there was

89:45

there was a piece one play you're like

89:46

[ __ ] thank God I don't got to run

89:48

that again there is there was the idea

89:50

of like hey do I just like CU I could

89:53

probably still play a couple games like

89:55

do I just sit around and wait till

89:57

playoffs till playoffs start because a

89:59

lot of guys do that and more power to

90:02

them I hear you but you know it's then

90:04

you're like waiting either for an injury

90:06

either you're like waiting for somebody

90:07

to get hurt i' have guilt I'd have guilt

90:09

exactly or you're just going to like you

90:11

know they're going to pay me to be like

90:12

a backup guy and I'll get like another

90:14

shirt bow or I'm just going into yeah so

90:16

I'm for me at that point I'm like you

90:18

know what I don't want to I want to be

90:21

proactive and just completely go off so

90:25

I that was something that I thought

90:26

about but definitely not doing it and I

90:28

look forward to getting skinny we're

90:30

going to get to that here in a second I

90:31

guess all right well if you could do it

90:33

all over again would you change it

90:35

nothing not a thing not a thing not even

90:36

this last year um I hear you well i'

90:39

take that back I'd take a Super Bowl for

90:40

sure but um you know everything happens

90:43

for a reason you know I've been very

90:45

very fortunate with all of the teammates

90:47

and coaches that I've had and um you

90:50

know I wouldn't have wanted to play any

90:51

anywhere else uh be with anybody else so

90:56

I wouldn't change any of that I might

90:57

change like you know I'm not perfect i'

91:01

I've made plenty of mistakes that I

91:03

looking back would have done differently

91:05

or you know I've I've been an [ __ ]

91:07

I've been a jerk like I'm like this is

91:09

the reality of life right and um you

91:12

know I think overall I've been pretty

91:15

good but I think for the most part

91:17

there's always something you look back

91:18

on and you're like man I could have been

91:20

better there 1,000% so trust me I know

91:25

no I just did one in the Super Bowl um

91:27

all right that does it for uh we gotta

91:29

ask but you don't have to answer and

91:31

lastly there's been an outpouring of

91:32

love from the Philadelphia Community uh

91:35

since you made the announcement really

91:37

from the entire world and uh your your

91:40

teammate Darius Slay chimed in with an

91:43

idea you're absolutely not going to love

91:47

um but everyone else is so [ __ ] on

91:49

board with it March 4th should be Kelsey

91:52

day in Philly the man is a true legend

91:55

shout out to Big play slay I'm on board

91:57

and I'm pretty sure Philly's on board so

91:58

it sounds like you have an official day

92:01

whether you like it or not you you know

92:02

damn well I do not support madeup

92:05

holidays slay should know at this point

92:07

too but I'm going to trick you into

92:08

[ __ ] having a beer randomly on every

92:12

day of your life you're not going to

92:13

trick me you just offer me one or every

92:15

year whatever day it is for the most

92:17

part yeah I don't think we should do

92:18

this for sure yeah I think there should

92:20

just be like an Maybe another Mummers

92:22

Parade not just on the the first of the

92:25

year but the 4th of March and everyone

92:28

dress up as you as your mummer as my

92:31

mummer string band's mummer suit yeah

92:34

like have you ever seen those videos

92:35

where everybody throws on the T-Rex suit

92:39

uh no and runs I think I know what

92:40

you're talking about actually it's like

92:42

the air inside of them yeah yeah those

92:44

are funny H man a bunch of Jason Kel's

92:47

running around um maybe running of the

92:49

bulls running of I mean

92:52

I've always kind of wanted to go to

92:53

that I mean you went through a

92:56

table what else what's next everyone has

92:58

to run in flip flops you wouldn't touch

93:00

the Rhino I'm not [ __ ] getting in

93:03

front of that thing [ __ ] that well all

93:07

you got to do you don't got to out run

93:08

you don't got to outrun it you just got

93:09

to outrun me you already know I'll go

93:12

swimming with sharks as long as I'm not

93:13

the only one in it I can out swim

93:16

somebody ceremonial keg stands there's a

93:18

whole bunch of stuff we can get into and

93:20

we will get into it March officially

93:22

Jason Kel day Philly let's get this

93:24

thing going mayor sign it up this is not

93:27

a thing put it on paper moving on it's

93:30

time for some special retirement Edition

93:33

and no dumb questions because there's no

93:34

such thing as dumb questions just a

93:36

bunch of dumb people and a retired

93:38

dumbass all right so no dumb retirement

93:41

questions is brought to you by Buffalo

93:42

Wild Wings Wings beer Sports let's go

93:46

sports

93:47

bar see we do have rhythm it's nice when

93:50

there's not delay on the

93:52

still can't harmonize though should we

93:53

try no I'm I'm stuff go you

94:01

start nailed it I knew it was the

94:03

streaming it's all about Riverside they

94:04

got to get their [ __ ] fixed Zach Brown

94:06

we're coming dude we're we're on our way

94:09

dude all right uh from at

94:12

Cornelia SLG Gurley Cornelia last Gurley

94:16

is am I saying that right uh I

94:19

cornelus Gir

94:22

Cornelius T Gurley yeah I think that

94:23

sounds right Cornelius Cornelius Gurley

94:26

from wherever U don't know where you're

94:28

from uh at no dumb questions once you

94:30

guys eventually

94:32

retire um will you keep rooting for the

94:34

teams you play for or go back to the

94:36

fans of the Browns since uh they were

94:39

your uh OG team yeah I mean I'm a Eagles

94:43

first and foremost yeah and I'll

94:44

probably still cheer a little bit for

94:46

the Eagles I mean i' I've like I said I

94:49

become a Philly sports fan myself in

94:52

that regard I think fans who haven't

94:54

played definitely my own wife like

94:57

there's a uh a I mean listen we are

95:00

still Cleveland sports fans I still

95:02

cheered the Browns on and I did it my

95:04

entire career like I'm always rooting

95:06

for the Browns uh it come there's a

95:08

slight conflict when like the Eagles

95:09

play the Browns every four years maybe

95:12

if they ever go to Super Bowl together

95:13

but that would be the only times so it's

95:15

not like there's some insane rivalry

95:17

with the Cleveland Browns and Chief and

95:18

Eagles I so I can be fans of all three

95:21

teams you know I mean in my mind I get

95:24

I'm it's still Eagles here like it's

95:25

Eagles got be then until you retire it's

95:29

Chiefs the moment you retire it's

95:30

probably Browns then Chiefs I respect it

95:33

I respect it but either way those are

95:34

the top three for sure and then

95:36

bills how how about that coming out of

95:39

nowhere they just

95:42

they about that Lake dude dude they were

95:44

so nice and yeah they were nice to you

95:48

dude they were so nice I know that you

95:50

guys saw you maybe on social media in

95:52

hosle environment I didn't expect it to

95:54

be nice I'm just saying they were didn't

95:56

expect it to be that I mean it wasn't

95:57

like they were nice nice but like they

95:58

were they were still ribbing you but

96:00

that's like to be like expected yeah

96:03

yeah you want a hostile environment but

96:04

I still we were getting buffalo wings at

96:06

the big tree in all the Buffalo fans

96:08

were just excited for the game and

96:10

they're everybody's being nice and

96:11

everybody that works there is being nice

96:12

to us with the wings we're having

96:14

buffalo wings for our first time in

96:15

Buffalo so it's a it's like a a freaking

96:19

um like almost like a

96:22

not serendipitous but like a um I don't

96:25

know it's just a unique experience right

96:26

you get to have something that

96:27

originated someplace it's cool yeah well

96:29

not and you're part of it yeah I think

96:31

they're they're easy fourth at this

96:33

point nice from uh analyzing Taylor all

96:37

right when Jason is ready to talk about

96:39

it I'm interested if he's going to shed

96:41

pounds in retirement since he won't um

96:43

have to maintain the caloric intake

96:46

needed to play o line I was uh I was

96:48

blown away by seeing

96:50

Allan FICA Alan FICA after playing and

96:54

he um he's running marathons dude yeah

96:56

I'm not doing that dude what dude I

96:58

don't know how Allen's doing it but like

97:00

I'm I'm not running on pavement I tried

97:02

that already with the 5K not going to

97:05

make a living doing that my knees are

97:06

already messed up enough but there have

97:08

been plenty of oine men that that have

97:10

kind of chiseled it down oh I'm looking

97:13

forward to that yeah I'm going to get

97:14

I'm going to slim down I'll probably my

97:16

goal is 250 right now well this last

97:19

week I got down to like 285 cuz I knew I

97:22

was doing this yeah um and then I had

97:25

cake like three days in a row

97:29

so that's nothing compared to what

97:31

you're right it wasn't just cake though

97:32

it was like like I I I've been you had a

97:35

lot of naone last night we did well not

97:38

it was uh oh my gosh what is that called

97:41

bread no it's not pea dude I only thing

97:44

that thing was missing was some marinara

97:46

sauce and some [ __ ] some with the L

97:48

like some mozzarella and some la thank

97:51

you thank you um yeah whatever it was it

97:53

was delicious yeah it was great I mean

97:55

listen you're not going to beat zahav so

97:57

all right now so there's different ways

97:58

to do it right like I don't personally

98:01

subscribe to doing extreme diets like

98:04

you know going all the way vegan or all

98:06

the way carnivore or like uh keto my man

98:09

Joe Thomas lost a bunch of weight he all

98:11

keto and he showed me his plan and I'm

98:13

like dude more power to you but [ __ ] no

98:15

I'm not looks [ __ ] great yeah he

98:17

looks fantastic but it's not worth to me

98:20

doing that type of dude the happiness

98:21

you get from going over to Reas and just

98:23

chugging three those things like I don't

98:25

I can't do it every day but I'm going to

98:26

still do that occasionally um so yeah I

98:29

downloaded like you know my fitness pal

98:32

and just start tracking calories and I

98:35

feel like as long as I maintain my

98:36

protein intake so I keep my muscle yeah

98:39

and just kind of limit the calories

98:41

you'll start to lose weight so that's

98:42

that's the plan this guy's got a plan in

98:44

place and when Jason Kelce has a plan

98:47

it's [ __ ] done with that's right and

98:49

uh that was no dumb questions brought to

98:51

you by Buffalo Wild Wings let's go

98:53

sports

98:55

bar before we wrap uh we do have one

98:59

special video message for you Jason just

99:01

to you know end this thing with you

99:02

balling in tears because what's more

99:05

special gu a lot of people reached out

99:08

uh to show to the show wanting to share

99:10

their congratulations um let's take a

99:13

look at those messages now I'm so proud

99:15

of you um such an honor being your

99:18

teammate I'm so excited about what's

99:20

next for you as always great speech

99:23

everyone loved it I'm sure got some

99:25

great laugh some tears everything in

99:27

between oh my God you finally did

99:32

it've always been an amazing teammate an

99:35

amazing friend of me man I really

99:37

appreciate you can't say enough good

99:38

things about you just wanted to say

99:40

congratulations on your retirement thank

99:42

you for being the greatest teammate that

99:44

I've ever played with you're one of the

99:46

few teammates I ever had that was

99:47

younger than me and I actually looked up

99:49

to it's the guy you are man the way you

99:51

leave with your heart what you see is

99:53

what you get I really think you're one

99:54

of a million in that way there three

99:56

words that come to my mind I think of

99:58

passion Legacy an underdog it's been a

100:01

long great ride and I've enjoyed at

100:03

every moment U that we've been able to

100:05

100:07

congratulations on your career hell of a

100:08

run wish you the best on this new

100:10

chapter of your life truly incredible

100:12

career man I definitely do not miss

100:14

100:20

100:22

102:23

determination and persistence paid off

102:26

for you to realize your dreams well I

102:28
