radar and it definitely is a winner but

of stuff to avoid disappointment you
know scariest movies since the Exorcist
or whatever yeah it's probably not the
biggest Triumph for me is we finally
have the great yet underutilized David
dalchan in a lead role and he absolutely
destroys it here he has been popping up
in memorable small roles for years even
just smile last Voyage of the demeer and
the good Suicide Squad to name a few
it's really just awesome to see him get
to shine Center Stage he along with the
rest of the cast are exceptional and
really help add to the authenticity of
the movie that is a huge thing they are
going for here with the 70 set

to feel real and the visual side along
with the cast work really well to sell
it the story does get a bit complicated
as well but thanks to a lot of little

and when Jack says he's glad to have
them she weirdly says she's glad he

him before calling him very handsome woo
wee Lily immediately broaches the
subject of Maddie and what happened to
her she can relate herself she's also
lost people close to her it's lonely at

seems genuinely affected by this

seems pissed Jack takes it to Commercial
and June confronts him for sabotaging
her he doesn't really listen to her at
all and is distracted by other show
needs Gus has picked up on all the
weirdness going on and Gravely warns
Jack he's messing with things that he
doesn't understand and he callously
tells him if they coners Satan he has
his permission to walk right out the
front door Gus believes something is
wrong with Jack and he interrupts that
he he's trying to save our [ __ ] show
but at what cost Jack as suspected word
traveled around regarding christu and
Gus knows it's Mr Wiggles isn't it
behind this whole thing the crew is
scared and thinking of walking Jack
growls no one is going anywhere and keep
this crazy stuff to yourself he pleads
to stop before something bad happens and
Leo whis come along with his valid
concerns away the lights come back up
and Lily is back to staring at the lens
and a glitch goes right over her body
specifically June lays it out that the
demon can manifest itself as many ways
but the only way of entering our world
is via Lily she provides the key that
unlocks the door whatever happens
everyone needs to stay calm so she can
keep Lily focused on her voice June asks
for Lily's attention and when the camera
cuts it catches her gaze once more M she
really likes the camera June gets her to
go to sleep essentially hypnotizing her
she addresses Lily and when getting no
answers changes to Mr Wiggles she begins
to ask again and the glitch is back Lily
starts riding in the chair trying to get
free she asks again who is here now and
starts laughing mockingly she speaks in
a now demonic voice you know who I am
doctor she looks up now sporting yellow
eyes and a craze look the audience gasps
and Lily is trying to understand what is
going on here and where she is June CS
that she doesn't mean them any harm they
brought him back to understand his
purpose upon hearing this word the demon
perks up with a smile he's here isn't he
again establishing this whole thing is
really all about Jack this is further
established when Lily tells him that
it's good to see him again jack doesn't
remember them meeting but the demon says
they met way back amongst the tall trees
meaning that in some way diabo abraxis
and the Grove cult are connected and
they are definitely here for Jack come
to collecting demon Lily spews vitriol
upon Jane and reveals all of her and
Jack's intimate details but don't forget
what happened to his last [ __ ] June
snaps and smacks her good across the
face Lily is back it seems crying that
she can't help it it's just a ruse and
June starts chanting frantically in
Latin Lily only cackling things go quiet
and Lily sobs how did you let it happen
blood streaming from her nose there's a
loud bang and a surge of electricity
shoots through the grid Lily's chair is
lifted into the air and the glitch
warbles she lets out a big scream and
the chair slams back to the floor and it
looks like she's back for real this time
immediately apologizing June goes to
comforter while Jack is flumix and at a
loss for words of what he even just
witnessed car unsurprisingly isn't and
is already prepared to tear apart the
manyi old tricks displayed here by the
doctor off air Jack is bowled over and
wants to get the pair back on as soon as
possible maybe even a regular slot June
is curious about the tall tree thing but
he brushes it off I don't know what it
means do you he knows for sure that this
isn't some parlor trick Lily and her are
the real deal the stage hand struggles
to get Lily's restraints off and Jack
steps in to do so himself meanwhile Gus
confronts Leo over that obvious sorcery
out there the producer is undeterred and
tells him to dial up the smile and get
on with the job who cares about the
implications of what's actually going on
here this is television people car bumps
into a trouble looking Gus and he still
believes this is all fake Gus is furious
they should have stopped the show right
after cristu died and Carr did not know
that until now it might have taken some
dubious methods but the show worked and
is a huge hit the biggest televisual
event since the moon landing that is
pretty big Jack is glad to get the
network off his back but Leo calls that
small potatoes now everyone in the world
is going to want to work with you after
this all part of the resurrection of
Jack deloy however something is still
troubling him how did they change Lily's
voice it sounded just like minis Leo
stops him there if her spirit were here
she tell them to get out there and knock
him dead he's still a bit Shell Shocked
it's not every day you see a demonic
possession live on TV he asks how lily
is doing and she says that she's fine
although she doesn't quite remember what
happened it's like being awake and
asleep at the same time car can't take
it anymore accusing June of harming the
girl she's offended saying that Lily had
the worst life imaginable before coming
into her care she not only treated her
but grew close enough that she calls her
family according to him it was all
hypnosis and as for the levitating and
everything else simply stage craft
however impressive he wants to prove his
point without a Shadow of Doubt and
selects Gus as a subject he utilizes a
pocket watch to hypnotize Gus waving
away to a hypnotic spiral he ask
everyone in the studio to watch along
with those at home it looks like he's
hypnotizing everyone and asked about
Gus's fear of worms Gus is surprised he
knew about that and Spills that he does
hate the little creepy crawlies car
reiterates that he's in a very deep
trance and when he clicks his fingers he
will be entirely under his command
things seem normal for a moment and T
Gus starts feeling uncomfortable he
removes his jacket and see his neck is
bleeding Gus pulls at it extracting a
worm from the wound he loses his lid and
car tries again to relax he cries he can
feel them inside of me and tears out his
stomach spilling out a mountain of worms
everyone is disgusted Sans Lily laughing
her head off car does a few snaps but
the spell isn't broken the audience
screams in Terror and car stammers this
isn't supposed to happen a giant worm
starts emerging from his head dreamer
here awake car yells and just like that
everything is back to normal Gus has no
idea what happened have we started yet
Jack is baffled asking what the hell was
that car reveals he did the same thing
as June but with a bit more imagination
that's right he hypnotized everybody in
the room including us tricky car Michael
as he picked up right off the bat this
audience is an especially susceptible
bunch and thusly easier to hypnotize
Jack wants to play the tape back to see
what really happened we see that car
simply said everything that Gus was
seeing and it was all in their Minds Jud
insists that she didn't hypnotize
anybody while car believes that he has
her dead to rights in that case Lily
suggests to play back their segment as
well TV cameras don't lie right
Carrington no of course not he curtly
retorts they play it back and there's no
trickery there it's exactly as we saw it
car believes there still must be an
explanation and wants to take the tapes
in for more research in the playback
Jack notices that glitch on Lily's face
they slowly scrub through one frame at a
time catching a ghostly Apparition of
his wife also seeing her hands still on
his shoulder now yeah with that
Revelation Carr is even more convinced
it was Jack responsible for all this
just a desperate attempt to save his
show he does not appear to be on it
based on his hollow haunted expression
car keeps ranting and Lily begins
convulsing again he coughs there's no
need for the Encore ladies Lily herself
starts emanating static in an energy
Aura around her body jack reaches out a
hand and gets shocked the lights all go
ballistic and cut out completely amongst
the darkness there's another flash of
Maddie looking especially spooked key
the lights come back and electricity is
shooting from L's arms more specifically
it looks like the demon is actually
absorbing the electrical energy to gain
power which would make sense with all
the weird electronic Behavior going on
all night she yows and her head splits
right open shooting out even more energy
Gus goes at her with a crucifix shouting
the power of Christ compels you and she
snaps his neck twisting his head all the
way around June goes at her with her
pendant which the girl turns against her
lifting her high in the air choking her
car attempts to get with Braes his
praying to the Unholy Lord I will do
your bidding she slits Jane's throat and
car tries to offer her the check yep
demons love cash everyone knows that
Abracadabra she growls incinerating the
check she proceeds to melt car's skin
off slopping away like a candle Leo
Yanks Jack away from the madness making
eye contact well sort of one last time
before the door closes the video is
overwhelmed by Static seeing a demonic
Vis nestled within it smirks and goes
right for the camera and again it seems
that this demon is electricity based in
some way Jack finds himself thrust back
through several moments but now slightly
off Gus introduces him and the audience
goes nuts chanting Jack Jack Jack in
excitement we also do change here to an
entirely new format and aspect ratio 16
by9 and in color looking much more like
a traditional modern movie he doesn't
understand how he got here and the
audience starts laughing maniacally they
stop suddenly the camera spinning around
him he blinks and things change channels
to the caveman sketch he removes his
shoty beard still confused by what's
going on he's then with the lady in her
loose spider but now it's a big old
gross worm instead Jack is flipping his
lid and the lady assures him it's
perfectly harmless he's then brought to
madd's last appearance on the show
reminiscing about when they met a
spotlight turns on and Things become
Sinister don't you remember darling she
asks or is that something else you
managed to forget Jack is flustered only
croaking out the words you're dead a
station difficulties graphic comes on
and melts away entirely yeah say we got
a couple difficulties around here Jack
is in at the wheel of wonder which
becomes a hypnosis swirl he approaches
the camera oddly jump cutting along the
way he pleads with everyone to stop
watching and turn off your television
sets people start appearing amongst the
spiral including Maddie and Lily with a
monstrous mouth he's then back to ins
signing his 5-year contract which we now
see related to his other deal the
reporter asked after his big ratings win
what did you have to sacrifice the
network head steps in with a goblet
saying his greatest sacrifice Is Yet To
Come robed People and bird mask get him
to his feet and take him to another room
with more people waiting for him
including Dio he congratulates him on a
great show it could reach a 40 or maybe
even 50 audience share hey you did it
bro but later we learn that he still
fell one point short of Carson ah shoot
all that for nothing yabo commands him
to come along and forces him to his
knees they place the Goblet before him
telling him to drink up the group shreak
altogether and he gulps down another
door opens revealing a bedroom with an
ill Maddy waiting for him there you are
she says weakly I was worried they
wouldn't let you see me he takes her
hand and confronts what he did his dirty
deal they told you you could have it all
didn't they to be number one well you've
made it darling but had to pay a price
meaning losing her as yabo says a brais
requires sacrifice he tries to explain
that he didn't know things would turn
out this way pleading that you have to
believe me he sobbs that he loves her
and she asked him to do one last thing
eyeing that ritual dagger on the
nightstand he forces himself and digs a
knife deep into her chest he screams
suddenly back in the studio in the real
world seeing that it was Lily that he
actually killed another trick that whole
thing he went through was yet another
instance of hypnotism designed to catch
him off guard and dup him good although
it is worth noting that the others are
still dead and in the same ways caused
by Lily so that did technically still
happen dreamer here awake Jack weekly
chant to himself the same words car used
earlier hoping to snap himself from a
trance but this time there is no
hypnosis there is no trance anymore this
is is real hearing sirens approaching in
the distance the transmission ends
briefly the text tellingly changes to so
it is done right so we know for sure
that Jack made a deal with his buddies
at the Grove in order to boost his
career perhaps it was that 5-year
contract and the subsequent period of
success although as one should be aware
of making a deal with the Devil comes
with strings attached in this case The
Taking of his beloved Maddie after her
death he became even more consumed with
saving the show and as we saw throughout
the Halloween broadcast didn't allow
anything to deril it the point is Jack
kept repeatedly pushing things despite
several warnings and really all of this
blood is on his hands he was willing to
do anything to achieve success and in
the end paid the ultimate price they
also didn't lie about making him famous
just not in the way that Jack was
thinking after this episode he is going
to be very famous for a long time and
who knows how the story will go once the
public gets involved at the very least
I'm sure he gets to blame for the
other's death despite what the tape
might show famous really more like
Infamous then there's the whole abraxis
of the whole thing in retrospect it
feels like this entire setup was
actually orchestrated by diabo from
Beyond the Grave H my favorite kinds of
plans there's lots of little bits of
foreshadowing throughout that help us
understand the outcome here we already
know that diao had been having kids for
sacrificial purposes and then Lily just
happens to be the only Survivor of that
fire I think it's more likely that diabo
knew that she was his last chance to
release his God knowing the demon was
still within her even how lily acts the
whole time is strange obsessed with the
camera and laughing in an appropriate
time and of course mentioning that he's
going to be famous very soon which also
reminds us of what Carr said about
abraxis he's in need of an audience and
whatnot what better way to bring them
into the modern world than via
television this indicates that Lily and
the entity within her have been aware of
this plan from the beginning even if the
girl isn't exactly conscious of those
ulterior motives it's all a setup for
Jack to make his final crucial sacrifice
which also gives yabo exactly what he
wants they take advantage of his guilt
over Maddie and use the same hypnosis
trick utiliz all night in order to get
him to complete the final step killing
Lily with their ritual blade thly Jack
has set the demon maybe abraxis himself
loose into our world and that final text
at the end lets us know that this has
definitely happened that wraps things up
