I'm sorry bro he got him if I'm

comparing the like that verse to this

shot no way Cole's got that was a moment

from our live album reaction to J Cole's

a let's get into this 7 minute drill it

was the outro on the the album we

finally get a response to Kendrick's

verse unlike that which came out two

weeks ago and this is very interesting

because on that verse a lot of people

felt like J Cole got caught in the

crosshairs he caught astray the shots

weren't really being directed at him but

Jak Cole jumped out the window here and

he dedicated a song going at Kendrick

Lamar what are your first thoughts well

listen going into it I don't think that

it's the diss track that we were all

expecting if I'm being completely be

honest with you I think that there were

some good shots you know thrown towards

Kendrick on this one but it's definitely

not the full-fledged like package that

everyone was expecting so underwhelming

to you it's not that it's underwhelming

like I definitely think that if Kendrick

Lamar comes back with something else

then I think that J Cole gets more

engaged I feel like this was just more

to see where Kendrick's at you know is

he going to continue to go back at jcole

and is he going to continue to theater

him because if I'm going to be

completely honest with you like I'm

looking at the RS and yeah there's some

cool stuff in here but if I'm being

completely honest is like you know the

whole conversation about the catalog

about his albums being boring you know

talking about how his arms are too short

to box like I'm kind of okay without

them if I'm being completely Hest that

was a [ __ ] brutal disc he wrapped

your arms might be too short to box with

the God who live his life without the

pressures of a constant facade that was

a serious bar I I like I like the

constant facade bar I like the constant

facade bar but I don't know just like

calling him short and calling his albums

boring wasn't necessarily anything for

me but I I just feel like when you're

looking at like a rap battle you have to

go with the guy's appearance his

physical like attributes whatever the

case may be and he went full-fledged

with that he went in at him and like it

was clever I'm not saying that it's the

craziest bar ever but it was very clever

and before we we get deeper into the

breakdown I do want to say this yeah

jcole does have balls for for shooting

out first like I don't think we any of

us expected him to go at Kendrick before

Drake so that was really cool to see him

really jump out the window um but let

let's go back to where you were sing

which is the first set of disses where

he raps your first [ __ ] was classic your

last [ __ ] was tragic your second [ __ ]

put guys asleep but they Gass it so if

anyone's wondering from what it seems

like when he says your first [ __ ] was

classic he's talking about good kid Matt

City when he says your last [ __ ] was

tragic of course talking about Mr moral

and the big steppers and then saying um

your second [ __ ] put people to sleep

he's probably talking about the p a

butterfly cuz he's seeing that people

gassed it um and then you're sech was

massive that was your Prime so let's

talk about him going at one of the best

discographies of all time I don't know

if it's the best move no I don't think

so I don't think you could have the

conversation with Kendrick about the

discography especially when it's

considered one of the best of all time

and I feel like when you start saying

that the butterfly is boring or whatever

the case may be in my opinion that's

still one of the greatest dos of all

time and I mean even at that he's

calling his stuff classic so I mean you

know there is sort of like a a

compliment within that disc itself you

know so that's why I I don't know how to

feel about what's interesting is that

he's been complimenting him even on

firstperson shooter right putting him in

the big three or even looking at um what

he was saying on um what's the record

that I'm thinking of um the pipe down

remix oh yes where he's rapping about

like people handing me the bronze and

like he's saying that Kendrick's a

superstar to him so it's interesting to

see his perspective completely shift

after the like that verse um but I do

like that he's saying that like jcole is

in his prime right now and he sort of

took his spot as the top Dawn and he's

true for that I feel like Cole is the

best rapper alive right now I know what

I'm trying to say but like if you look

at through these verses there's nothing

really vicious about these if you get

what I'm trying to say like the short

arms was vicious all right listen if you

if you [ __ ] with it that's all what did

you think of this one but push come to

shove on this mic I will humble him

referencing Kendrick that's what I think

this track is I think that it's just to

see where Kendrick Lamar is at with

things I don't think that this was meant

to be a full-fledged disc and really

start to get into some like heavier

stuff and really start going blow for

blow uh because not only that but if you

go to this next bar um on verse two he

says I'm hesitant I love my brother but

I'm not going to lie I'm powered up for

real that [ __ ] would feel like SWAT in a

fly and then he says the four arms in 12

years I can divide so I mean he's kind

of like inviting it again he's kind of

sing like come so how do you like that

as sort of a response to Kendrick where

it's like I'm not going to go all the

way in but I'm going to invite you but

I'm taking a whole track to do so so do

you think the fact that Cole took the

whole track that he should have went a

bit deeper with it or do you think that

he played it smart and he was like well

let's just touch the surface a bit let

me acknowledge it let me throw some

shots back but let's see what you got

coming next and then we'll really see

what's up I don't think this is one of

the most scathing diss tracks I don't

think that this is going to go down as a

classic diss track but again for the

situation that we're in I feel like it

is the perfect chess move because he's

testing him a little bit right like he's

he's knocking him for his discography

he's knocking him for not being um

consistent when it comes to dropping

music and I think that again he's just

telling him like you're my little bro

right now I'm at the top of the pyramid

I'm the one to be afraid of so it's a

cool warning shot and like you were sing

he's baiting him into getting more out

of him and I feel like Kendrick is

definitely going to come back at him bro

he's GNA come back at him [ __ ]

swinging but going back to the bar you

were saying um four albums in 12 years

man I can divide that's actually a

reference to Jay Z's bar on takeover

where he RS four albums in 10 years I

could divide so it was cool to see him

pay homage back to JayZ and takeover um

but what do you think happens from here

bro I think Kendrick absolutely comes

through and uh he delivers the diss

track like he was waiting for someone he

was waiting for someone from like

because obviously the shots were thrown

at Cole and they were thrown at Drake

he's waiting for someone he's waiting

for one of them to answer and he was

waiting for this moment to be like okay

well now you guys want to engage I'm

going to engage and is going to start

dropping tracks he has to yeah because

like how does Kendrick open up the can

of worms then you get back to this track

from Cole and now you're not going to

answer it that's it like at at that

point like you've lowkey like not that

you've lost but it doesn't it's not the

best look it's not the best chess move

if you don't answer this you know what

I'm trying to say cuz you opened up the

can of worms you're the one that opened

up this whole this whole playing field

so I mean you have to come back with

something crazy and I think he will cuz

if I'm being completely honest another

thing that I really liked about that

Kendrick verse is that when you go into

it it's not the craziest when it comes

to like the dises you know he's talking

about a you know it's the big three it's

only me talking about how best work is a

light it was it's kind of on the same

level of as this if I'm being completely

honest with you but now now it's like

okay let's see where we're going with it

but the thing that I liked a bit more

about the Kendrick disc was the Cadence

the aggressiveness like he was really in

your face about this I feel like here

this sounded like a good jcole track you

get what I'm trying to say so I want to

see a bit more vious inside of this was

aggressive like even when like he's like

zipping up the body bags and you get the

sound effects that was cold um and yeah

I will say this they should have gone

with the conductor production the entire

song it was cool to get a switch up

though I I didn't enjoy the first beat

as much as the second no I would

definitely gone with the conductor beat

for the listen I think that like

Kendrick has to respond to this like his

reputation as someone who's never backed

down from any scuffle with any rapper

that's on the line right now and I feel

like I would bet my entire mortgage that

he answers back because like you said he

opened up the can of worms he has no

choice but to respond I I I think that

this one like you were saying it's going

to be brutal it's going to be intense I

think he's going to get under J.Cole

skin and that's what's going to maybe

make this be a six round seven eth round

fight between them because they're both

invested this is why I love hipop is

that for the first time in the longest

time you're getting two top caliber MC's

that you now know we're going to go

[ __ ] back and forth for what might be

a very lengthy bloody Feud um and not

bloody in the sense of being personal or

getting the streets mixed up in this

whatever that is no we know that Bloody

in the sense of like there's going to be

serious swings going on right now we see

what happens to be honest with you like

maybe it doesn't go anywhere and maybe

this is where it kind of impossible it

ends here impossible maybe it ends here

you impossible uh but regardless though

I mean like not that I was disappointed

with the track but I want to see more

I'm down I'm down for more I'm

definitely down for more at this point

I'm not going to lie to you like I feel

like you know Cole and Kendrick

definitely acknowledged everything

they're both in the race now but there's

one man left Drake still in the equation

there's Jersey Drake still in the

equation and this is a good time for him

to drop just because now it's like all

the attention is on Cole you know and

like if you come back and you drop

something that's [ __ ] ridiculous now

we're going to have like just a a Cess

poool of [ __ ] diss tracks going

everywhere that's the big play hand

honestly like cold dropping tonight it

was good it was cool nice he answered I

don't think it was the greatest diss

track but he did like what Kendrick did

on like that you know it was just like

it was warning shots like this is what I

could do you know this is what I'm going

to do on let's say a project that I'm

kind of releasing Loosely if you want to

come at me you could come at me but with

Drake there's a different sentiment in

the air there is a different sentiment

in the because you could tell that off

of like that like Kendrick really wanted

Drake's head like that that's that's his

primary target but what I do love about

this situation is that we were speaking

about this in the last video that we did

like the real battle might be between J

Cole and Kendrick like if we really look

at the pedigree of their pens they might

be closer in terms of the playing field

and I I don't want to count Drake out of

this but I do love the fact that

everyone was making jokes saying oh

jcole is going to be riding his bike

he's not going to be answering he's too

much of the nice guy and he's the one

that came out of the gate first um so I

do love that he said [ __ ] it I'm going

to really make my presence known and I'm

going to be able to fight back but Drake

might come with a different approach and

I think that Drake might come with

something that is a bit more vious

absolutely so we we'll see we'll see

what happens what do you think happens

now do you think Drake says okay I'm

going to let them sort of battle it out

and I'll stay dissing future and Rick

Ross and do my own thing Drake knows

what he has to do so you think that it's

going to be a Mexican standoff situation

maybe you know what happens I'm just I'm

kind of see things right now because the

seven minute drill like there's

something off with it it's it's in what

baiting him in a bit it's nothing too

prepared for both Drake and Cole without

crazy he's going to come in strapped I'm

telling you now yeah that's the thing

though is that now it's like okay

someone answered so there's definitely

something going on that's the only thing

I'm kind of happy about is that it

didn't fizzle out and you know nothing

came out of it at least like there's

some sort of like back and forth going

on but it has to pick up it has to pick

up cuz I'm kind of tired of like just

like the little the little finger Taps

you know it's like oh well you poke me

like jcole did the right thing he

definitely like played it safe and you

know we'll see what happens after this
