I Swapped Anthony Edwards' and Jordan's Careers

today we're taking Anthony Edwards who

some say is the next Michael Jordan and

giving him the career of the man himself

but that's not all cuz we'll also be

taking MJ and sending him to the modern

NBA as an replacement on the Minnesota

Timberwolves giving both the chance to

rewrite their careers in each other's

eras and most importantly in each

other's shoes as this story starting off

with the Antman heading all the way back

to the 1985 season where only as a

rookie he's already a young star for the

Chicago Bulls as he would immediately

average around 22 points per game thanks

to an impressive array of acrobatic

plays and with a show like that and

those impressive stats it's no surprise

he's walking away as a rookie of the

year shout out to Ant-Man who was

somehow able to beat out Hakeem and

Charles Barkley for the rookie of the

year but if we jump almost 40 years into

the future we'd see Jordan make a

similar impact in his rookie season as

he would average a few more points to

finish with 2 four to also win the

Rookie of the Year just as ant did four

decades ago with the two clearly on

their way to multiple NBA championships

the challenge for today is simple Amman

will go first and win as many titles as

he can and then we'll head into the

future with Jordan to see if he can

clear that amount of championships in

the same amount of time there is a

little more at stake that we'll get to

later but for now you get the idea and

it's time to get to the action which

unfortunately for Ant-Man wouldn't

really be the good kind as as over his

first five seasons he would continually

be sent home Time and Time Again by

teams such as the Boston Celtics and

Detroit pist so it wouldn't be until

year number six until we'd see Ant-Man

all the way in the finals where he'd be

heading to Houston to potentially make

history if he can take down his toughest

opponent yet he's going up against the

Rockets he's going up against Hakeem

it's not going to be easy but what is

working in an's favor is history itself

as Jordan didn't make it to the finals

in real life until the 1991 season so

with Ant-Man in the finals in just 1990

he's actually ahead of Jordan's pace

which could work in his advantage and it

would be best illustrated by the first

two games of the finals where he would

outplay hakee taking a two Z lead to

start the series off however don't count

the Rockets out just yet as aluan would

quickly flip the series in his favor

taking Games 3 4 and five all in Chicago

now turning what was once a two lead for

Ant-Man into a 2 to3 deficit so a few

seconds ago andman was kind of on the

right side of history now it's looking

kind of cooked and with this series now

heading back to Houston and would try

his best to extend the series but in the

end with Hakeem on the other side this

one wouldn't be close as the Rockets

would hold on to a massive lead entering

the final few moments of the game

Ant-Man and the Bulls have ran out of

gaster down by 30 hakeem's in a basket

right on Q if it wasn't already over it

definitely is now so with that that the

Rockets would be adding a finnels loss

to an man's resume which is something

that never happened during Jordan's real

life NBA career and it's something that

will definitely come up when discussing

his legacy but while we're on the topic

let's take a quick look into MJ's second

NBA season where he would improve from

his first going up from 24 to 28 points

per game now forming a legitimate

dynamic duo with Carl Anthony towns

which is now thrusting the Timberwolves

into almost Championship contention

while they're not going to win it this

year year it seems like it's really only

a matter of time however to focus back

on it he would use the 1991 season as an

opportunity to bounce back and with the

help of Scotti Pippen who's been on the

team for a couple Seasons but just now

entering his own Prime the Bulls would

build upon last year's finals appearance

with ant Leading The Way with over 30

points per game to win his first of what

may be many League MVPs Ant-Man with his

first MVP most interestingly though 38%

from three he is bring bringing the

modern game to the 9s and his modern

three-point shooting would soon be put

to the test as the Bulls would be making

it to their second consecutive finals

this time heading to Hollywood where

he'll be challenging the Los Angeles

Lakers who are led by their franchise

player Magic Johnson one of the true

Legends of the sport and arguably the

face of the entire

league but in the end this series would

be the changing of the guards as the

older Magic Johnson would not be able to

keep up with the athleticism of young

Ant-Man and when you combine it with the

modern three-point shooting that he

brings to the table this one would be a

landslide as the Bulls would take a

commanding 3 to one lead in the series

no guarantees but it seems like the

Bulls are in good shape and close out

the Lakers on their home court all

driven by one last magical performance

from Antman who would eventually give

the Bulls a 30-point lead entering the

final moments of game five and with that

ant-man's like 10 seconds away from a

championship shout out to Magic he's

still trying but

it's not going to be enough but it would

be enough for Ant-Man to officially

stamp his name in the record books

Anthony Edwards and the Chicago Bulls

are the 1991 NBA champions with the man

himself of course walking away as the

finals MVP and of all of the titles that

we'll see today this first one may be

the most important cuz if we check in on

Jordan in the future he would be playing

out the 2023 season by Crossing 30

points per game solidifying himself as

one of if not the best player in the

league which will be absolutely crucial

if he wants to ultimately win this

competition as we'd see Ant-Man in the

finals for a third straight time with

title number two in sight as he's now

matching up against the Utah Jazz

featuring JN Stockton and the

questionable car Malone who wouldn't

stand a chance asir Edwards would dunk

his way to a second straight

championship and of course his second

straight Finals MVP now giving him the

chance just like Jordan in real life to

pull pull off a historic three repeat in

The Following season but in Jordan's

case back in 2023 it wouldn't be so

simple many people consider the modern

NBA as its most talented era and because

of that his road to a ring wouldn't be

so easy as his first deep playoff run

would ultimately be cut short all thanks

to Luca donic Kyrie Irving and the

Dallas Mavericks in the Western

Conference Finals they would send Jordan

and the Timberwolves home despite the

countless encouraging signs that he

showcased earlier but definitely do not

count him out just yet cuz it's only a

matter of time until he breaks through

in the meantime though let's shift back

to someone who has and is on the brink

of doing so yet again as we'd be seeing

Ant-Man make it to his four straight

finals in search of a three repeat up

against the Phoenix Sons were led by

Charles baru a legendary power forward

who can put up more than a fight with a

two-time champion But ultimately

wouldn't really have the chance to show

it as there's a reason why ant does have

those two titles and when you combine it

with the help of Scotty who to this

point is easily the best psychic in the

league the two would jump out in front

of the Suns with a two to1 lead making

it all but certain that eventually the

Bulls would be walking away as champions

again we are probably going to be

looking at a Chicago 3p however because

both MJ and ant-man's timelines have

been flipped it would not only change

their careers but also the relationships

between them and their peers as in real

life Charles Barkley has made it very

clear that he's a massive fan of ant

Anthony Edwards is letting everybody on

notice and I love it but in this reality

where the two are competitors it's safe

to say he doesn't feel the same way at

all you really think I give a fly as

despite the deficit the round Mount of

rebound would go right back at in as a

two to1 lead for the Bulls would quickly

evaporate as chuck would top the series

2 to2 Take the Lead at 2 to3 and

eventually come all the way back out

playing ant to win the championship 2 to

four no doubt at the moment you can say

that AE is the best in the league but at

the same time with two finals losses

under his belt he doesn't seem to be

invincible and to top it all off he'll

be retiring at least temporarily as just

like Jordan he'll be leaving the NBA for

the 1994 season to go play baseball and

by the time he returned around halfway

through the 1995 season it could really

only be used as a warm-up as the Bulls

would only win 42 games as the six seed

which obviously has no business

contending for a title so to save the

embarrassment let's move on to 1996

where Ant-Man and the Bulls would

officially return to Forum as a man

himself would win his second MVP on his

way to a 64- win season of course mostly

due to him but also because of the help

of Scotty as well as the new addition of

Dennis Rodman which would ultimately be

enough for another final's appearance

where for a second time an will have to

challenge Hakeem alijan for the title

and just as a reminder almost a decade

ago it was hakee who snatched ant's

potential first championship away and in

in the process eliminated the chance for

a Perfect finals record but this time it

would be completely different as a

Edwards would take control of the series

from game one and wouldn't let go as the

alltime defense of hakee wouldn't be

enough to stifle the League's best

player as eventually number 23 will be

raising up Championship number three

walking away with finals MVP number

three now at the top of the basketball

Mountain once again and if you happen to

be a bulls fan or just roooting for an

in general it's about to get even better

as it would give he and the team

momentum for the 1997 finals where

Ant-Man now a three-time MVP would find

himself up against Hall of Famer Gary

pton and the Seattle Sonics who wouldn't

stand a chance at all 4 to one that's

how the series would end which fittingly

gives Ant-Man his fourth title with only

one more season with the bulls remaining

but before we watch his last Dan let's

check in on Jordan who's now in 2024

where he would again as you would expect

average over 30 per game once again

leading the Timberwolves to the number

one seat in the west now looking like a

true Championship Contender which is

really good timing considering we're

about to focus on him exclusively in a

few moments but in the meantime we have

to be locked in on ant-man's last dance

with the bulls as he's now heading to

the finals again for a seventh time in

search of title number five but standing

in his way would not only be his

toughest opponent but toughest Duo yet

which is saying a lot considering he's

faced up against multiple Hall of Famers

during his time in the league to end his

career he ultimately have to close it

out by taking down the duo of Shaquille

O'Neal and Kobe Bryant who are a few

years ahead of schedule but still one of

the best Duos in the league Ant-Man and

the Bulls obviously have their hands

full with Shaq but they're also going up

against the next Anthony Edwards the way

the timeline played out we're going to

see Ant-Man against Kobe and it's safe

to say that while the original Anthony

Edwards could be counted on to outplay

his successor there's a very apparent

7ot one 300 lb issue that the Bulls

would not be ready for as while Ant-Man

would go off as he's done for over a

decade sha would be even better as while

the finals would eventually go to seven

games the NBA's newest Duo would take

control in their home court to deliver

the knockout punch to the Bulls Dynasty

cuz while the game would be slightly

close at the very end it's clear that

old Ant-Man and the Bulls have run out

of gas I'm going to sit through it but I

doubt they're about to come back and man

with the ball gets a screen from Rod

three this one's over so with that Ed

man's going to be closing out his career

as a bull on a somber note however with

four championships and three MVPs under

his belt he is surely still finishing

his career as one of the greatest ever

also as a side note I mentioned the

Bulls specifically as he'll actually be

finishing his career as a Washington

Wizard but since they don't have any

chance for a title the final count will

stand at four with Michael Jordan now

being task winning five champion

ionships in the present day and Beyond

but before we get into Jordan's fourth

season and playoff run just as a

reminder Amman spent 14 Seasons with the

bulls meaning that MJ who's in year four

only has 10 years to win those five

titles but at the same time with his

aess in the league at his Peak he's at

least going to get a few as the 2024

finals would see the Wolves head into

Boston and eventually win the title

followed by the 2025 finals where they'd

head into Cleveland and do it all over

again so in a blink of an eye MJ is

already halfway at ant-man's title count

with a very good amount of time

remaining but the real challenge is yet

to begin as while he was winning those

championships the storm will be brewing

in San Antonio Texas as for the 2026

Western Conference Finals Air Jordan

would now be challenged for his throne

by Victor wanyama who's going to pose as

the largest threat to MJ and the Wolves

going forward obviously with the two

championships MJ is the face of the

league but if it's going to be anyone

else it's going to be wemi so with a

trip to the finals on the line we would

see the overwhelming size of wemi clash

with the all-time scoring punch of MJ

and when you combine it with their Elite

supporting casts it would make it no

surprise to see the series start off

with a 2 to2 tie now leading us into an

intense game five in Minnesota which

would continue to be a back and forth

until the very end where we'd see a tie

game with 3 minutes left and keep in

mind whoever whoever wins game five

historically wins the series so it's

safe to say that a trip to the finals is

on the line Rob Dillingham with the ball

I'm assuming it's about to go to wemi

he's about to swing it to someone else

it's about to be Vel no I thought he was

going to hand it off oh my God what a

have a million going down the stretch so

have a tie game Minnesota just called a

timeout I don't know listen man I don't

watching the greatest game five in NBA

action no breaks they're about to throw

it into wemi yeah here we go is it going

they would make a very questionable

decision what just happened Devon Vel

had an open look to officially end the

game and give Minnesota a commanding 3

to2 lead in the series which would give

them momentum to one close out the Spurs

on their home court to advance to the

finals and two take care of the Orlando

Magic in the finals easily to win Jordan

Championship number three MJ is on an

absolutely dominant run which should be

no surprise really and just like that MJ

is now one title away from tying up

amman's career total and with plenty of

momentum by his side it wouldn't be long

before he did it again as for the 2027

finals he'd be right back in Orlando for

a second straight time where he would

once again take over to win championship

number four now tying him up with a but

once again the main obstacle in his way

would be wemi as the 2028 Western

Conference Finals would be a rematch

between the two stars with even more on

the line as wemi is still searching for

a championship of his own and his put in

a ton of work to make that a possibility

we have wemi against Jordan part two and

wemi has also hit 99 overall so it's

definitely going to be way harder than

their first matchup which would

ultimately explain the pummeling that

Jordan would experience at the hands of

wemi as this one would be a resounding 4

to1 victory for the Spurs who would

eventually go on to win the title a few

weeks later but most importantly it now

brings up a serious question with only 5

years left for MJ to secure one more

title can wemi be the one to prevent it

there's only one way to find out as a

2029 season would for a third time

Conference Finals with Jordan now

looking for Revenge but of course it's

not going to be easy as wemy is arguably

the League's best player with a

combination of sizon skill the NBA has

never seen before so while it would be

MJ with the slight edge with a 3 to2

lead in the series the job is far from

finished as he would have to try to

close out the series on the road with

the Wolves down by two in the final 2

minutes of game six which on the surface

doesn't seem to be too difficult until

you consider the desperation wemi would

be playing with to force game 7 so it's

safe to say that MJ's success is still

far from a guarantee I'm assuming

they're running the play for Jordan here

we go good post up he didn't even try to

post up he should have I thought he was

going to post up just rushed a shot for

no reason sharp with the ball being

guarded by cat this one's not going to

end well not too sure what wmi just did

though but somehow it's going to work Wy

makes the layup contested layup yeah I

don't know what's wrong with the

commentary but we have a good game on

should tell you how crazy of a statement

make it a three-point game now to make

it a two-point game the second free

throw is up and it's good Minnesota is

not going to call a timeout here and it

looks like they're setting up for Jordan

to take the free throws get the ball and

get fouled or they going to pass it to

the oh they're going to pass it to the

young player number 16 Carrington at the

line not really like he might be a good

free throw shooter but we want to see MJ

at the line here although to his

credit he made both okay here we go trip

to the finals on the line One Stop away

from Minnesota Jordan with a chance to

go to the finals looking for his fifth

Championship the three is up it's good

San Antonio is still alive and they

finally fouled Jordan this time Jord

with a chance to seal it he is going to

make both free throws no timeouts left

for San Antonio will we be going to

overtime Dillingham with the ball 6

seconds left 5 seconds left the spin

move pumping oh my God that's good he

missed it goar with the board goar with

the board goar just put the team on his

back and he's about to hit the free

throw unbelievable and it's only right

that goar would hit the second free

throw to close the door on the MJ wemi

rivalry to advance the te- Wolves onto

the the finals where they' go up against

the Cavs but just as it was in his other

four finals appearances it would be MJ

well ahead of the field with slam after

slam then she winning the championship

to clear the bar set by ant to win the

competition five titles to four and

that's not to discredit ant's

accomplishments at all as he's still

walking away as a legend in his own

right but when it comes down to it the

original Michael Jordan is still walking

away as the greatest of all time
