hi guys it's Nicole and welcome back to

my channel the wait is finally over we

have made it to this video I know a lot

of you guys have been waiting for it

there was even a Tik Tok search trending

about it but we're here so welcome to my

college decisions reactions Vlog if you

didn't know I'm currently senior in high

school and March is like Prime College

decision time so every time I got one

back I turned on the camera you guys

will see if I got accepted rejected and

also see my reaction and everything that

went down so not going to lie this month

was really crazy and definitely a lot of

emotions I think my other seniors can

maybe relate but it was definitely a

time and I feel like I've been

anticipating March ever since the

beginning of my senior year so the fact

that it's now over and I've gotten all

my college decisions back it's it's kind

of surreal but I'm really excited for

you guys to see all of the clips here

are all the colleges that I applied to I

applied to 8 uc's UCLA UC Berkeley UC

Santa Barbara UC San Diego UC Santa Cruz

UC Riverside UC irine and UC Davis and

then three CAL States San Diego State

University calply slow and Cal St Long

Beach the only reaction I did not get

was Cal State Long Beach it came out in

like February and I didn't even expect

College decisions to come out cuz I was

like really early so one day I was like

checking my email and I got and I was

like oh shoot C State Long Beach

acceptance rate is 47% and I did get

accepted so that was my first acceptance

which was really exciting I just didn't

get it on camera so that's that but all

the rest of my decisions you are you're

about to see them so I hope you guys

February 29th 7:51 p.m. and I just got

my first UC decision back which UC is

this UC Santa Cruz oh UCSC I have my

parents with me my mom is freaking out

I'm not yes she is my mom's more nervous

than you are I'm pretty nervous but like

it's fine it's fine everything's fine

first UC decision out though and it's

just a em let's look at the um

acceptance

58.6% it's pretty high it's pretty high

opening University of California Davis

UCD I got it like an hour ago but I was

taking a nap today's UCD don't want you

Friday it's also International women's

day so

like and I had a crazy morning but it's

fine okay we're going to look up the

acceptance right ooh

37.3% okay so a little lower than the

schools that I've gotten into oh my God

I didn't know that's actually like

that's that's that's like the same I

think as Santa Barbara or a little

higher but like around the same as s

yeah that that's so it's very like it's

not easy to get

trying to do to me okay we're going to

it to how many schools last week no I

damn okay would you expect to get into

all of them no but the acceptance rates

is going down and the hardest ones come

out at the end of the month CU she got

into the ones that were were higher

accepting rate so then now it's like

lessening my chances of getting in the

other ones okay guys well two objections

in a day it's

fine life will move on that went with

like the the theme of our day today yeah

today was not a good day but it's okay

we're going to we're going to keep our

heads up that's right hopefully there's

going to be more acceptances in this

a couple weeks later from the clip you

just saw and I'm currently eding this

video and I realized I actually got

weight listed at uccii um I don't know I

think I was just so quick to read we

regret to inform you so I just thought

it was a rejection but I'm actually on

the waight list for ECI which was pretty

fun to find out it's not going to change

my decision like my final decision of

where I'm going but I just wanted to add

that because I just found that out so

yeah not a total rejection but a

weightless and we're back all right

another day the decision City accepted

accepted yeah we just got accepted

those last two I'm kind of losing hope

but open up let's see today we are

opening cow poly slow this is another

Cal State it's Monday March 11th

currently 4:53 p.m. the decision

actually came out like 3 hours ago but

I've just been like putting it all so

let's look at the acceptance rate 30% oh

wow so

around the last two schools that I like

I got

rejected so scared I hate

this oh shoot

answer is yes you did it you applied we

accept it and so it is my privilege to

offer you a conditional admission to the

fall 22 quarter at I finish High School

yeah as long as you graduate high school

in the communication studies major oh

option though yeah it's so funny because

like right away it either does some kind

out of 11 schools and I'm four for six I

Diego State University this is the third

and final Cal State that I applied to it

came out today Wednesday March 13th this

your top Cal State though right yeah it

is it came out when I was at school and

all my friends wanted me to open it but

I was like I'm going to wait for my

family

SDSU acceptance rate

39.3% oh wow okay this is like not based

on essays or anything right no yeah so

Cal applications it's literally just

your GPA like you just submit your

grades and the classes you took but like

compared to UC where you actually write

like essays and activities and awards

but this one's just based off your

grades big news

23.7% so we're just going to check the

portal I literally don't know one person

that that got into UCSD actually like I

was texting all my friends cuz they've

opened it

28th 4:50 p.m. this is my last last one

this is what's been keeping my decisions

video from coming out for too long so

that's why how do you feel mom about

this whole college process and how do

you feel that this is my last decision

that I'm opening we're letting Jesus

take the wheel and we're justel trusting

and so so far she kind of knows where

she wants to go and this will just

confirm it right so I think we can move

on and we can like fact like have

something else to look forward to I

agree and yeah that's how I feel I'm I'm

good I'm All Cried Out me too I've had a

few weeks to express myself actually

I'll talk about that at the end but

let's open Berkeley so Berkeley

acceptance rate is

11.3% that's fun so fun you're so mean

so mean okay we're going to open it I

need to log into my portal status

update I don't even care

get find the rejection every time she

gets a an acceptance there's like

confetti there's like confetti or

there's some T type of torp there's some

type of like celebration when it's just

like a regular like letter you can tell

it you don't even have to read it okay

well that's that that's that last

rejection last college decision we're

done that's it you know where you're

going

yeah okay you guys let's talk so those

were all of my college decisions let's

just do like a little recap I got

accepted into Cal State Long Beach UC

Santa Cruz UC Riverside cap Holly slow

and San Diego State University so five

out of 11 acceptances and then I got

rejected from UC Davis UC Irvine UC San

Diego UCLA UC Santa Barbara and UC

Berkeley so six out of 11

rejections um yeah it's now when I'm

filming this it's now March 31st so I've

kind of had some time to process

everything and just I don't know time to

think and get all my emotions out but I

just wanted to sit here and talk with

you guys and just kind of explain the

whole college process like what I went

through and what I wasn't expecting just

all of that because I feel like you

don't really know what it feels like

until you're going through it or you see

like a family member going through it

and that's why I had like my family with

me when I opened basically all my

decisions is because I already knew I

needed their support throughout this

whole process but yeah it's it's not

easy it's actually pretty tough as you

guys know I got rejected from my dream

School

UCLA oh my God I didn't think I was

going to cry I thought I cried it all

out already but

um

obviously rejection in general was like

really

hard I don't want to mess up my makeup

but honestly to put it into words I

literally felt like going through a

heartbreak when I opened my rejection

letter from UCLA that might seem like

dramatic like oh it seems like a

heartbreak but honestly it really did

because I mean you guys know I've been

connected to this school like all my

years of high school and I would go to

the dance clinics and like Vlog on the

campus and always had it as the top

school that I wanted to go to I even put

it on like all of my vision boards and

like tried manifesting it yeah that

didn't work for me but it was really

tough um going through that and the fact

too that like all of you guys were

roting for me and everything which by

the way like thank you for all of your

like sweet comments I just remember

seeing all of you guys being like we're

praying for you or we're manifesting it

for you too and just seriously like your

guys support means

everything but yeah I just wanted to

share how this month like took a toll on

me because you know I tried my best with

my application and I feel like there was

nothing else that I could have done I

just put everything that I could and

I've worked hard for the past 4 years so

I honestly just felt like really

disappointed and kind of lost too

because I've had the next four years

planned out like if I dig into UCLA my

life would look like this and then when

I got my rejection L it was just like

nope that's not happening so I just

wanted to say like to any other seniors

out there who also went through this

process and maybe got rejected from

their dream School all your emotions are

valid um I mean I thought I cried

everything that I need to out already

but I guess I'm still crying but like

feel everything that you need to feel

like everything you're feeling 100%

makes sense because this is a really

hard time and I remember just thinking

to myself like what could I have done

better or what could I have done

differently maybe to be accepted but

also know to any of my seniors like

struggling and feeling lost that this

really is a part of God's plan and I

know that seems like really tough to

believe or like hear right now cuz like

when you're crying and like going

through it people are like oh just trust

the problem process and like you'll end

up where you're supposed to like totally

that's 100% true but it is still hard

going through the motions right now and

it's like a sucky feeling but after

feeling all those emotions for me it's

been like 2 3 weeks since the rejection

happened and I finally like come to the

realization and just accepted that God

wants me elsewhere and I may not know

the reason now and I may not know for a

couple of years but I know everything

will be okay the reason is because if

God has gotten me this far then why

wouldn't he continue taking care of me

you know um it's still sad though so

yeah this clip is probably all over the

place and like I'm such a mess as you

can see but this is just the reality of

senior year and like going through this

whole college process like it was

definitely a roller coaster of emotions

I felt so up when I opened an acceptance

letter and then so down when I got a

rejection letter but it's all a part of

life and I just know the most important

part is how you bounce back from it and

choose to keep pushing forward and keep

doing the best that you can I also just

wanted to add that I'm so grateful and I

really really thank like my parents and

my brother and all of my friends and and

of course all of you guys all my

supporters this past month was not

freaking easy so just having all the

support and like love it's really nice

some of my friends and classmates are

also going through the same thing and

it's nice having people just to like be

there and comfort you and know that

you're not alone but class of 2024 we're

you going to be okay I think it'll be

crazy though in like 2028 that's when I

graduate college just to like look back

on this video and see how like sad and

like broken I was because of the

rejection but I know like everything

will be okay in the future and like it's

all going to come together and I'll

understand it later so me in the future

I hope everything's good and I hope

you're living your best life okay enough

said about that now I'm going to

announce and tell you guys where I

committed and where I'm going to college

Aztec I am going to be an Aztec s

University that's where I'll be next

year for freshman year of college I

actually toured the campus with my

family we went to San Diego we saw the

campus and I ended up loving it I got

this super hat the super cute hoodie

it's been kind of tough like keeping it

a secret from you guys because so many

of you have been wondering like where

it's going to end up but yeah I'm going

to be an AIC at scsu I'm going to State

just some things about the campus that I

really liked everyone that I met there

was super friendly they have so much

food there their meal plan is like

really cool they have a lot of spirit on

campus like with all their Sports and

everything and just overall when I went

on campus I just felt like so relieved

and I was able to get that Clarity like

after being rejected from my dream

school like okay everything's going to

be okay but we actually vlogged going on

campus and that whole day on the family

channnel so stay tuned for that that is

where I am going that's where I

committed I already paid my intent to

enroll I'm working on housing at the

moment but I truly am like super super

excited and stay tuned for college Vlogs

who's excited for college Vlogs because

I'm so stoked we're going to have a

blast at State and you guys are going to

come along with me I'm so happy though

because we can now finally start

thinking of what I'm going to buy for my

dorm and buying new clothes for college

like all of that and you guys are going

to see that so I think this is where I'm

His plan's better than my plan and I
