for the sexual assault kit initiative

instead she spent those funds on

traveling airfare hotels rental cars and

Conference

expenses leaving women alone in a

vulnerable state of fear and depriving

Our Youth of the resources that could

help dismantle the school to prison

pipeline there have been several distur

in lawsuits filed against fonny Willis

including that of the

ACLU for violating constitutional rights

of people leaving them incarcerated for

too long without formal

charges this continues to serve as an

issue in our already overcrowded jail

where several people have died because

of the conditions there this district

attorney continuously raises red flags

about misusing

money intended to help protect us here

in foron county for her own personal

travel in fact she spent over

$188,000 of her campaign funds on travel

expenses leaving me to debate an empty

Podium instead of showing up to answer

the tough questions of the people of

foron County the role of the district

attorney is to protect the community in

which it serves not to steal resources

intended to help rape victims in our

youth we need to get the office back on

track protecting the families of fors

and County and ensuring that victims get

the Justice they

deserve we need to show up for our youth

not deprive them of the resources that

can help change their lives for the

better in light of potential prosecution

and

disbarment I respectfully ask fonnie

Willis to resign

effective immediately among the most

notable races is for Fulton County

district attorney Fon Willis is up for

re-election she of course has been front

and center leading the prosecution in

the election interference case an Ohio

Congressman accuses Fulton County DA

fonnie Willis and her prosecution of

Donald Trump being part of a conspiracy

to affect the next election the 2024

presidential election there are new

appeals against the decision allowing

Fulton County DA fonny Willis to stay on

on the 2020 election interference case

last week the Georgia court of appeals

agreed to hear an appeal from former

president Donald Trump against that

ruling that allowed Willis to stay on

the case as long as special prosecutor

Nathan Wade stepped down now at least

four more codefendants have filed their

own appeals including former white house

chief of staff Mark Meadows and former

Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani I think

when she became the da she gave it a

little Frenchy stuff you know f fonnie

Wade it's fonnie Willis we call her

fonnie Wade because the boyfriend she's

so in love with

him and here's the beauty though I think

about her so you you guys have all seen

this whole deal so she said uh no no we

we took trips yes we took trips and then

she realized that well she paid for the

that and they use that money to pay so

turnover documents and Willis accusing

him of obstructing a Georgia criminal

proceeding Tuesday Jordan took his fight

one step further accusing Willis of

conspiring with Federal prosecutor Jack

Smith and Manhattan da Alvin Bragg to

help Trump lose the 2024 election the

real conspiracy the real politics is

between brag Smith and Willis all

working together to impact the 2024

presidential race and I think Americans

have common sense I think they can see

it for what it is that's what's going on

here her case is the one that's

politically motivated the American

people can see it could be a big day in

a Fulton County story that the entire

country is watching I didn't make it up

okay US House committee is calling for

former prosecutor Nathan Wade to testify

about his relationship with Fulton

County district attorney f Willis well

in a letter today from representative

Jim Jordan he requested Wade to testify

behind closed doors claiming Wade's role

in the election interference case raises

concerns we're particularly interested

in this idea that uh this news that just

broke yesterday that looks like Nathan

Wade was at the White House working on

this case and doing so on on uh you know

on funny Wilson's dime what kind of

coordination was going on there were

they talking to the White House Council

who were they talking to so we want to

we want to investigate that to see if

that actually happened and if so who in

fact was he talking to in the white

house and was it about this case this

ridiculous Case by fonny Willis against

President Trump and a bunch of other

folks uh there in Georgia so this is

something we're looking at well the

information in this letter uh just

became public this past week and so here

we are on Monday you know as soon as we

were able to to call this out we can't

keep turning a blind eye to what's going

on in that office the chaos the

corruption it's time for us to for to to

stand up and take our justice system

back it's time for us to to stop

overlooking the misuse of funds from

public elected officials it's time that

we restore ethics and it's time that we

really stand up and value what we care

about here in foron county and that's us

the people of foron County our families

our kids we have the ability to do that

through the justice system and right now

we aren't seeing that being done I'll

just say that if you serve as an elected

official you are supposed to be

transparent about all of your dealings

it's called Public Service not private

service everything you do you have to

make sure that the public they trust

what you're doing and they know what

you're doing members of the community

should see you out visible and engaged

you are a member of the community in

which you serve so they should be

transparent about everything that

they've done through her Administration

and hide nothing I respectfully ask fny

I never thought this case would go to

trial before the election then and uh I

think most people think that's the case

now so uh as far as I'm concerned I

don't think voters should get too

distracted on all of this and just stay

focused on what's at hand going into

November and let judge mcae make his

ruling representative Jordan says this

is the second request from the house the

committee is also asking Wade to turn

over documents related to his work in

the case back in February both Wade and

Willis testified about their

relationship and in March Wade resigned

from the case Jordan is requesting a

response by May 16th let's talk about

Nathan Wade because it's been it's been

a while since we found out about the

that was asked to recuse himself or uh

or fonnie Willis was going to recuse

herself of the case on the Georgia this

state case this Fen County case he was

the ex Fon County prosecutor I do think

that we need to step back from this

because we've been talking about Nathan

Wade being removed from the case

certainly that would be the course of

action to take that he would be removed

fonny Willis and her office are able to

proceed but I just want to underscore

kind of the crucial role that he has

played in this case so far guys remember

he was the one who was initially brought

on to spearhead and Lead the special

purpose grand jury process so that means

that he was intimately involved in that

8 months of testimony that those special

Grand jurors heard from all of the

officials here in Georgia all of the

people in the Trump Circle he was there

he was helping lead the questioning he

had that information and so this is

somebody who you could argue has kind of

the bulk of the knowledge of this case

or at least his longevity certainly

stands out when it comes to this case

Nathan Wade the attorney fonny Willis is

accused of having an affair with has

been paid more than

$650,000 in fees by fton

County here's a little bit of his resume

Wade was a municipal judge who mostly

dealt with traffic tickets and running a

private practice focusing on family law

and contract disputes our research

Department found no evidence he has ever

prosecuted a felony case yet fonnie

Willis picked him for arguably the

biggest case in her career a former

District a former justice department Pro

utor with this bottom line is it looks

like Fanny Willis according to this

motion filed by Mr Roman's attorney has

has brought in a special prosecutor who

has never tried a felony case and who

got divorced or or filed for divorce the

day after she appointed him to this

position for which he and his firm has

now build about a million dollars clay

what's happening in Georgia

it's a massive story I think if anything

this has been underplayed overall by the

media I I think Harris this is a dead

prosecution I think fonny Willis going

to have to step down if the state of

Georgia really gets into this

investigation which Governor Brian Kemp

on down everybody should be involved in

this I think it's possible there's a

criminal prosecution against Willis

herself based on these allegations she

tried to say that this was race-based

Harris but uh by saying oh they're only

focusing on one of the three uh

attorneys that I hired to participate in

this investigation and my response to

that will be well did you sleep with the

other two as well uh because until the

allegations that you were sleeping with

a man that you funnel

$650,000 in taxpayer money to a man who

may well have been unqualified to have

the job in the first place and also

allegations Harris that she was

traveling with him on extravagant

vacations that were being paid for by

the taxpayers of Georgia if you were

going to try and put the former

president of the United States behind

bars in an outrageous and unprecedented

series of charges under Georgia state

law you need to be Crystal Clear

yourself and have absolutely nothing in

your background that is going to impinge

on these prosecutions I think these

allegations by themselves uh where often

in the law I can speak as an as an

attorney uh here Harris it's not only

impropriety it's the appearance of

impropriety and the appearance that

fonnie Willis broke up the marriage of a

man she hired that she was sleeping with

him and that she paid him

$650,000 in taxpayer uh money that is

more than enough to cause an issue here

workplace romances are as American as

apple pie it happens to everyone um

but it happened to the two of us you

don't plan to to to develop feelings um

you don't plan to to fall in love you

don't plan to to to have some uh

relationship in the workplace that you

don't set out to do that and those

things develop organically they develop

over over time um and the the minute we

had that sobering moment we discontinued

it you think that you've done any kind

of damage to this case none at all even

the public perception of it there again

this this takes me back to the initial

statement that I made my private life

became the focal point of the case my

private life has nothing to do with the

merits of that prosecution but his poor

judgment has everything to do with how

poorly the prosecutions going it it

makes you wonder on the fundamentals of

the case is this about Fame is this

about becoming getting under the

national spotlight her his salary was

too large his expenses were too large

she's been examined now they're running

against her in her own party they're

looking at her expense budget I think

she got an extra million dollars and

miscellaneous and you you made a good

point a minute ago asking Carrie about

whether or not all this goes away if

Trump wins the uh the election I wonder

even if he doesn't win the election if

all this stuff doesn't wind up going

away because it's so obviously

politically motivated it just makes the

profession look so bad I mean this is so

it looks it appears to be so corrupt

nonprofessional he's not even a lawyer

that normally handles this type of a

case he is they're having a relationship

she's paying him to prosecute the man

that she's going after I mean it's right

meetings in Athens with the defense team

of the White House why were you meeting

with the White House Council in Athens

Georgia about this case and you still

want Trump to believe that there's no

coordination between the Biden White

House in all these cases it's all about

dollar money I mean that's all that was

tax dollar money that was paying for for

all of this to happened exactly Georgia

asking questions about Fulton County

special prosecutor Nathan Wade Wade is

helping lead da fonny Willis office

prosecution of former president Trump

and others Jim Jordan the chair of the

house Judiciary Committee wrote a letter

to way today he's requesting records

related to The Fulton County District

Attorney's ongoing Trump election case

last summer representative Jordan sent a

similar letter seeking documents from

Willis she wrote back accusing Jordan of

attempting to obstruct a Georgia

criminal case both Willis and Wade are

under scrutiny after a defendant accused

them of having an improper relationship
