afternoon it's match day
the only problem is i'm not fit and i
can't play
the finger that i broke about five weeks
ago
i did it actually in the warm-up before
the rotherham game
um i've snapped a little bit of bone
and pulled the tendon off the ligament
off all sorts of bits and bobs like that
um i've been trying to play with it for
the last five weeks
and it hasn't got any better which is a
little bit of a problem to be honest
with because i've done loads of these
things before
i've done them and after two weeks they
get a little bit better three weeks
they're nearly gone in four weeks they
are fully gone
however this one is not getting any
better whatsoever and that is a little
bit of a problem so
went for another x-ray last week the
surgeon the specialist said that
i need to just basically shut down now
i'm gonna have to take
a few weeks off fully fully rest my hand
hopefully that'll do the job and i'll be
back at it in no time
so there won't be any gopro and gold but
don't you worry i've got you covered all
the usual stuff
i've got training tomorrow morning so
saturday morning before the game
i'll go into the training ground do a
bit of training do a big old bike
session as usual
and then i'll be in my car on the way to
the stadium get behind the boys get
support and then be in the changing
rooms
