Transcripts
I developed an unhealthy obsession with
sleep pods last year when I went to
Japan maybe it's because I'm a small man
or maybe it's because they're awesome
today I'm traveling around the entire
world to find the best sleep pot on
Earth and all the ones I'm going to are
in airports so there's a strong chance I
miss my flight every single day my goal
is simple achieve a 100 sleep score on
my sleeping app I have not been sleeping
well at home unfortunately so this video
is kind of an excuse to sleep a lot
starting with our only sleep pod in
America First up New York City this is
the only pot I'm going to in America
it's $33 for a whole night or about $26
an hour I walk by these all the time and
I have no idea what's inside apparently
it comes with all of these amenities
which sounds great the only problem is I
am arriving at midnight hopefully
someone's working sleep pod number one
not every sleep pot in the world allows
you to sleep overnight especially at
airports however this one does the
airport is pretty much completely empty
everyone's going home the sleep pods
behind me are literally my only hope
most of the reviews for the sleep pods
are actually really good but honestly
they leave me with more questions Taye
left a five-star review and said I saved
human dignity with just $33 thank you my
savior my Saving Grace
Tay what are you running from and Jack
left a one-star review saying place is
incredible tiny it's a box might as well
sleep on chairs in the terminal shower
had hair and drain wear flipflops which
you should always do first of all
there's a shower second of all that's
the fanciest spelling of Jack I have
ever seen regardless I'm going inside I
walked up and someone was waiting in
line so I immediately looked at the
snacks as well as this informational
video the icons at the check-in desk are
promising a lot finally I was next in
line and after giving her my name I took
a free pen it's really late like I can
tell both of us are just super tired
which is why I'm excited to go through
that door and go to sleep she just went
through this door and said she was going
to go check on my
pod oh she's back awesome I've always
wondered what these were
like cool I walked through the back
rooms of the New York airport and
stepped into my first sleep pod this is
sick there are totally other people
sleeping around me right now it's kind
of nice I can't see anyone unlike some
of the sleep pods in Japan I don't even
know if I would call this a sleep pot
it's it's a room look at all this stuff
this place comes with a work area a nice
desk chair you get this futon that also
has a pull out bed an Amazon Basics fan
a Bluetooth speaker there's a mirror in
here not sure how much I like that a
monitor with this permanent video of
water falling on leaves for $33 this is
crazy the fact that I'm at an airport
right now is blowing my mind I'm
scheduled for the shower at 9:30 a.m.
tomorrow morning which I'm not sure I'm
excited about I don't own flip-flops
your boy's in trouble however I want to
be stinky and sweaty when I take the
shower so I get my money's worth you
think what I'm
thinking let's walk around the airport
at midnight this is pretty much the only
time I'll ever be in an airport all by
myself it's a little Eerie it's kind of
weird literally no one's here except for
this lady luckily the only place to buy
snacks is automated you do have to scan
your credit card first which is a little
sketchy this is crazy there's actually
no one here that means I can do
something
crazy I hope there's not security
cameras I mean how am I going to pick a
snack out of all of these choices I
picked up a kind bar some water some
potato chips and tried to go back to my
sleep podt I don't know how this works
do I just
leave okay okay there's a possibility
that I just stole this but I don't know
how to check
[Music]
escalators
airports at midnight are crazy I just
passed by a couple dudes operating a
whole Jackhammer nighttime routine in
the airport I brushed my teeth thinking
I was alone and then a guy walked in
well I guess I got to go to sleep at
some point that was so fun I just had so
much fun in the airport I've got a big
journey ahead of me I'm going across the
world to try to find the best sleep pot
on planet Earth like I'm going to have
so much fun I have a shower appointment
in the morning that I have to wake up
for good night
[Music]
good morning I don't know how this is
possible but I overslept and apparently
I still got really bad sleep so that's
awesome I rushed over to my shower
appointment and let me tell you for $2
an hour in the airport this is amazing
the only thing left to do before
showering is investigate no hair in the
drain that's a huge win for Jack and I I
turned on the water took a shower shower
and got ready for an extremely long
[Music]
flight that's right you are no longer
watching an American YouTuber I am now
German it doesn't work like that but
let's roll with it I'm so jetlagged and
confused because I stayed up the entire
time on the plane but now it's 6:00 a.m.
in Germany and I'm exhausted good thing
this next sleep pod is super cool our
next sleep pod is in the Munich Germany
airport it's a really nice airport and
the price of this sleep pod is aligned
with that it's roughly 12 to $18 per
hour luckily I'm not sleeping overnight
in this one it's more of a nap because I
have a flight to catch in 2 hours gut
and Morgan isn't that exactly what you
would guess good morning is in German I
love Europe you guessed it this is the
next sleep pot nap caps yeah I am
currently in Munich Germany the Munich
Airport is insane first of all it's the
first five-star airport in Europe you
guys know how much I love five-star
things however it is known for being one
of the most delayed airports in the
world which is probably why this is here
honestly this sleept actually looks
looks really nice and here's what Martin
said what an incredible opportunity to
nap in the airport super clean quiet
comfortable what an alternative to
sleeping in the chairs of the gate the
gorgeous invention please spread out
five stars dude I could feel his
happiness in my bones when I read that
goodness Martin we're all happy for you
however kristo said dirty I found stains
mostly blood on surfaces half of my stay
was freezing other half burning alive
and the cleaning crew was shouting
outside my cabin get out one star okay
we've got a wide range of experiences
here I don't know who to trust but I am
praying that Martin's review is
accurate all
right wo so this sleep pot is definitely
smaller than the last one but this
mirror isn't this a really big mirror
it's kind of like a huge mirror to fit
in a really small space I don't know
what to do with it what I'm trying to
say is this sleep pot is smaller but
here's what comes with it you get a work
desk with no office chair however
there's a baby trash can that goes like
this okay this sleept actually has a bed
with sheets which is nice you're greeted
with this large screen that tells you
how much time you have remaining this is
like your control panel I want the light
off W oh it's actually really dark you
can also set an alarm and adjust your
air conditioning I'll probably do both I
love how the cooling options are
snowflake bigger snowflake or even
bigger snowflake same thing with the
fans I've never seen something like this
but it totally makes sense the best part
about this sleep pod though privacy
blind
[Music]
yeah all right before I take a nap I
actually really want to go get some
breakfast I don't know if you guys can
tell but I'm super sleep deprived it's
currently 3:00 a.m. in America and I'm
just supposed to get my day started I
haven't slept yet I feel like crossing
the Atlantic Ocean is so close to being
time travel but not in a helpful way I'm
going to go find some German
[Music]
breakfast that looks German at a whole
xer I love the way they spell coffee
that is so satis Caff so satisfying
goods and Morgan what would be like a
German
breakfast don't have breakfast how about
a donut vanilla donut and can I get a
small a cappuccino as well I love saying
G and
Morgan I got a dut and a coffee it was
either this or like a massive sausage
it's just too early it's just too early
for that that's really good you might be
wondering how I'm filming a mirror I'm
filming with my eyes don't look it up
all right I'm actually going to try to
sleep
[Music]
now nap complete that's literally my
worst sleep score ever it's it that's a
really bad sleep score I'm so tired
somehow in the last 24 hours I've gotten
2 hours of sleep but that's okay because
I'm going to another sleep pod this time
in Zurich I've always wanted to come to
Switzerland
the next sleep pot is special it's
actually a hotel of sleep pots this one
is overnight and it's extremely
expensive but I will say it looks worth
it soong Munich hello Zurich I'm in
Switzerland I don't know why but I lost
my voice a little bit which is really
convenient because Zurich is actually
the quietest city in the world that's a
crazy thing to be number one at I mean
the airport itself is so quiet
look at this location imagine just
stepping out of the airport and entering
a capsule Hotel based on the pictures
that I saw online of this place it's
going to be sick it's going to be so fun
this one's really neat cuz it's almost
like a hostel like you have pod mates
but also there's a lounge with snacks
and drinks basically it looks sick a
five-star review from Ramona is in
German but it translates to the location
is great the capsule is spacious and has
enough space there are enough toilets
and showers available that's Pleasant
that's a pleasant review and we have a
one-star review from Primo which is also
in German and this one translates to a
little man invinc this hotel I'm 2 m
tall and I help men like this you you
help little men or 2 m tall men how big
is 2 m oh my goodness Remo dude you're
massive who told this guy he could fit
in a capsule Hotel see this is why I
love videos like this this is like my
Paradise I'm little man and I'm proud of
it look how cold it is here look at that
it's cold well it's time to check out
this sleep
[Music]
podt
[Music]
all right this Lounge area is so cool
but where the heck are the Sleep pots
I'm going to check in I'm bed number 607
how many beds are in this hotel I was so
excited when I walked into my pod room I
feel like I could survive 100 days in
this capsule Hotel not going to lie next
Mr Beast video call me
Jimmy I have arrived to my sleep podt
this is so fun I think what I love about
sleep pods especially ones like these
they really make me feel like a kid
again I feel like I'm a secret hideout I
can definitely see why Remo would be
upset about the size of this place it
even makes me feel like a giant which is
very rare like extremely rare for that
to happen plus look at this
view that's enough yappen let me show
you around all right so the Sleep pot
actually locks which is so cool it comes
with two hangers for your stuff a towel
rack a towel bugs for charging a light
switch another light switch wo that's
bright it also comes with earplugs one
fun fact about me that you might not
know I am the biggest proponent of
earplugs in the world I'm convinced that
when I have earplugs in I fall asleep
five times as fast that's just a theory
but it's true so that's pretty much it
for this pod but this is one of the
sleep pods I actually get to stay
overnight in and the night is still
young I'm going to go enjoy all these
amenities before I go to sleep it's so
cool in
here this is such a nice bathroom can I
buy some cereal of course yeah I got a
bowl of cereal poured in some
Switzerland milk I don't think it's that
different from regular milk but I did
enjoy my corn flakes that's when I
decided to do some interviews I'm here
with Danny what are you doing here at a
sleept for connection I go to Panama
tomorrow I visit in one week my family
in Costa Rica I'm 25% Costa Rican I've
never been to Costa Rica before I should
go yes I'm here with Nemo Nemo is this
your first time in a capsule Hotel no
I'm here all the time like it's great
because you can like just stay here and
then catch an early flight this will be
my second night stay in here so you like
it yeah I like it a lot I I more
emphasized on the accessible from the
airport what do you think of the size
what do you think of the experience oh
incredible in my second time here I like
I saw a guy a review guy said it's too
small but he said he's 2 m how many
meters tall are you
normally
two you want to play a game okay let's
go I offered Danny a game of chess and
he said no let's play checkers he beat
me within a minute I went back to my pot
a loser but that's okay because guess
what time it is time to sleep she so fun
let's get that H sleep
score good
[Music]
night I caught my next flight at 5:00
a.m. to our next country the Netherlands
I actually love Amsterdam I've got some
really fond memories here I rode bikes
around the city ate stoop waffles life
is good in Amsterdam in fact I actually
remember this airport pretty well and
before I go to our next sleep pod aka
the KLM Lounge seemingly the fanciest
airport lounge in the world I got
stopped by a woman who wanted me to try
her sleep pot should I make picture of
you oh yeah can you get a photo yeah
surek try to lay down there if you want
I can lay down in it yeah that's so cool
yeah you can try it for 10 minutes first
a picture
[Music]
yeah have try out session for 10 minutes
is 15 okay but maybe it's better 15
minutes for 25 5 minutes is really you
recharge more okay you want it yeah sure
we call it bioh hacking is very modern
work but you can say relax recharge or
but because you have here five therapies
which can heal your energy without
medicines so here you have you can show
it to your wife here you have like a
life of tree when we start program it
will change in different colors because
this Spectre it change our cells in a
good way really important you can see it
this is hand
form wow can we just appreciate the
master sales tactics of this woman she
brought B me in for a free demo then
somehow got me to agree to pay for 15
minutes and then somehow got me to agree
to upgrade to 25 minutes did I just get
scammed we're about to find out so good
very relaxing well that was interesting
she was really hyping up that chair she
was saying it was going to like
regenerate the cells in my body and
stuff the only thing that chair did was
cost me 25 bucks let's go to the real
sleep pod dang Ryan that's a creative
shot you got on the auto walk there is
that what yall are thinking that's very
kind of you guys my next sleep pot is
excl Ive okay guys I'm standing in front
of the next sleep podt I don't know if
you can tell but it's actually
Illuminating my face this place looks
reminiscent of the Gates of Heaven look
at this dude going up the elevator like
where is he going these sleep pots do
not have any reviews which is crazy cuz
Airline Lounge 52 like if you ask about
it if you ask staff about Airline Lounge
52 they look at you crazy not just
anybody goes to Airline Lounge 52 but
somehow I got access to it what do you
think about this place very good were
you in there I was in the lounge how is
it I'm going to go in there very good
did you see a beds I see SAS sofas the
pancake is very good thing the pancake
I'm going to get a pancake okay bye-bye
thanks scratch that we have one review
I'm going to go inside now this is crazy
hello you guys need a boarding pass some
good
bro where am I this place is crazy I'm
literally walking different because I'm
I'm in this Lounge it wasn't my choice
it just started happening to get to my
sleep podt I had to go to an even more
exclusive area of this lounge and let's
just say when I walked in your boy was
not disappointed mostly because I
couldn't even see anything I put out my
do not disturb sign because I'm about to
take the best nap of my life this is the
best sleep pot so far first of all it
comes with a US plug I have not charged
my phone this entire trip that is so
clutch I mean this is how much space
we're rocking with we've got a bunk bed
situation when I first walked into this
dark room I thought there was a person
there and there but luckily they're just
walls keep in mind this sleep pod comes
with showers a buffet all of those seats
there's so many places to sit and a ton
of other cool things that I probably
don't know how to use this bed is by far
the most comfortable one so far and it's
the biggest that is a really good
combination and to top it all off I get
to watch the Netherland news who's this
I'm happy for him he wants he won big
time wait I'm so happy for him oh he's
he's on a talk show okay I'm going to go
test out some of these amenities and
then I'm going to take a nap I had a
great time I got some coffee some
chocolate croissants but the only
problem was there were no more pancakes
did my friend eat them all be
honest
okay I don't know what's going on the
entire point of this video is to have a
little bit of a sleep vacation but my
app has me on the verge of
[Music]
panicking yo our next sleep pod is it's
called yotel This is the most expensive
sleep pod of the video but it has cool
purple lights so maybe it's worth it I'm
in London gadwick Airport located
between London and Gatwick it's actually
not true it's just in Gatwick I have
pizza grease on the corners of my lips
and I can't seem to get it off
regardless I am really excited about
this one first of all it's called yotel
that's just sick this is the most
underground sleept imaginable that's the
sign and then you get in an elevator and
go down and then you're here I'm under
the floor of the airport the five-star
reviews involve a very consistent
combination of amazing location free
Cups of Tea comfortable and clean sleep
podt and the onear reviews involve a
very consistent combination of smells
like cigarette no airf flow no oxygen
which what sleepless nights and Delila
so who's and who's Delilah and is she
working the night shift let's find out
hello yes checking in so cool in here
mission control all right thank you all
right this is so extra I'm like scared
to go down this
[Music]
hallway
[Music]
[Applause]
31 yo tell oh come
on what I mean it's relevant it's a
relevant sort of joke to make this is my
favorite so far first of all this design
so cool this looks cozy I'm going to see
if I can request an extra pillow I like
to lay on one and cuddle one it's my
preference I forgot to see if the girl
at the front desk is the Lila hello SS
am I able to get another pillow by
chance another what another pillow you
have one on top oh there's two one on
your B and I oh okay is your name Delila
by the way she will come in the morning
oh she'll come in the morning oh okay
gotcha gotcha all if I don't come back I
found it so that is not Delila but she
did say she's going to be here in the
morning I have to leave it like 5:30
a.m. imagine Delila is there when
whenever I leave I got to say hey there
to lla and she's going to be like why do
you know me anyway she said there should
be an extra pillow up
top yep there it
is that's nice so two pillows TV cozy
bed situation you've got a bunch of
plugs and is this is this what I think
it's a table we're putting things on but
here's what absolutely shook me to my
core there's a whole bathroom I didn't
turn around for like 15 seconds and then
saw this and was blown away the mirror
makes this place feel massive it's a
genius touch everything you could
possibly need in one sleep
pod it doesn't smell like cigarettes but
I also can't smell right now I'm a
little congested I will say there's not
much air flow in here right now there is
oxygen I'm still breathing I'm a little
concerned about the sleepless nights
aspect of the reviews because I feel
like I get super hot at night if there's
like not a fan on I can't worry about
that right now I'm going to enjoy a
shower because I smell like pizza you're
not getting the hint I ate a lot of
pizza before I filmed
[Music]
before bed L late night
snack fire I started panicking a little
bit after I got out of the shower cuz
it's really hot in here the fears of the
uh no oxygen started setting in so I
went back to our friend at the front
desk who I'm calling not the lla and she
gave me a Dyson fan it's not on right
now cuz it's actually super loud which I
like but my sleep score absolutely just
increased y'all Joy Ride is going well
we have sold out of joy ride not once
but two times our sour strips have
nearly 1,000 reviews with almost a
festar average rating and you guys seem
to love our candy it's so fun to watch
we have recently got an interest from
actual retailers they want to bring in
our sour strips but also they want four
totally new candies and we're going to
be revealing them on our Instagram so if
that's not a good enough reason to go
follow us we're also trying to pass Sour
Patch Kids so that they respect us all
that being said we're working so hard to
make the best candy on Earth follow us
on Instagram come be part of the
movement and since our candy isn't
packed with sugar that means I can go to
bed
