Transcripts
- These are 10 new things you should be buying at Costco
this March, 2024,
and there's a huge selection of brand new deals
that you are going to love.
We begin with a six-wheel hand truck for 28 bucks.
This aluminum built compact beauty holds up to 150 pounds
and can fold flat for easy storage in the trunk of a car.
And speaking of compact,
this portable inflator at 40 bucks is rechargeable
and can inflate car tires up to six times
or bike tires up to 26 times on a single charge.
And if you're fortunate enough
to be planning a summer vacation,
a $500 Southwest gift card is priced at 450,
very similar to Costco's prior Black Friday promotion
with a limit of five per customer.
Point two starts with one
of the most unique lighting fixtures I've encountered.
This 23-inch LED ceiling fan at 180 is ultramodern
and bright at 2000 lumens.
New from the Feit brand,
this three-light vanity kit at 30 bucks has a farmhouse vibe
with a matte black finish and an incredible price point
considering the bulbs are included.
Brand new and not the repeat I was expecting from last year,
this five-pack of Tommy Bahama LED solar lights at 40 bucks
come in this new square design.
They run for eight hours and are almost 15 inches tall.
While we're on the topic of the outdoors,
Costco has replaced its usual two-pack
of metal pink flamingos with this new pack
of blue heron statues at $35.
They are life-size
and I think they look fantastic in person.
I found inner peace just briefly while staring
at this cascading cup fountain at 200 bucks.
I was pleased with my slight moment of tranquility given
how unrelaxing Costco was on the day I shot this video.
This might work in an entryway or maybe a dentist office.
Point three starts with a $30 price drop
on a very well-rated Panasonic microwave oven now
down to 120 until March 24th.
This NutriBullet Ultra Deluxe set is accompanied
by four cups of various sizes, three lids,
and apparently features an ultra quiet motor.
In marble, this mortar and pestle at $20
has an almost six-cup capacity
for grinding spices and extracting flavor.
The set sold last year had more of a natural stone finish
versus the smooth down marble offering,
so this may actually be easier to clean.
For your next taco night,
this beautiful lazy Susan is new and priced at $20.
The base bowl is 15 inches in size with an included cover
and six removable bowls in black or blue
that would be brilliant for toppings or chips and dip.
This eight-piece Tritan tumbler set at $17
in a dark green or transparent color,
have a spring-like floral etched exterior
and I appreciate how they look like glass,
but are far more durable.
And speaking of spring, reduced by $6 until March 24th,
this spring themed Dash mini waffle maker kit at 24 bucks
includes the bestselling waffle maker in addition
to various spring and Easter inspired removable plates.
By the way, if you are enjoying this video,
feel free to give it a thumbs up,
as that really helps my channel.
Point four is delectable from start to finish,
beginning with this nine-pack of morning buns at nine bucks.
Something I've never seen at Costco before.
These are essentially just cinnamon rolls covered in sugar,
but they are truly fantastic,
definitely one of my favorite new Costco bakery desserts
of 2024.
This Junior's peanut butter cheesecake
at a hard to digest $18.79 cents
is a peanut butter lover's dream enhanced
by chocolate ganache.
While this is eight inches and spectacular
in terms of taste,
this is more of a special occasion dessert in my opinion
based on its price.
And even more expensive,
but giant weighing in at four and a half pounds,
this peanut butter chocolate pie is back at 20 bucks
and it tastes just as good as I remember despite
that cost of admission.
This six-pack of mini carrot cakes is back at 10 bucks.
I love the cute little carrot topper
and these are delicious.
This six-pack of made in Italy lemon cheesecakes
in that reusable keepsake cup at nine bucks is refreshing
and right on the mark with a nicely textured cookie crumble
at its base.
And for those who enjoy the power of citrus,
the lemon meringue cheesecake you see right here is amazing
with a sweet graham cracker crust,
but it is a whopping $22, so I don't know with that price,
maybe this is for a wedding.
With summer just around the corner,
this 12-pack of sorbet cups is back.
This Costco staple at $16 is a handmade sorbet
served up inside a fruit shell and it's highly delicious.
And if you're familiar with the Chipwich sandwiches sold
at Costco, there's now a new flavor in the mix,
which is this 10-pack of thin mint Chipwich sandwiches
at 13 bucks.
And I'm sure you don't need me to explain
how precious these were to my stomach.
Point five starts off with a tower fan facelift.
This OmniBreeze at $35 has four speeds
and a remote like last year,
but this 2024 model is now smart with wifi app control
and available in this new white color.
This three-pack of braided rope baskets at 20 bucks
is composed from a natural water hyacinth,
which did not mean much to me
until I realized they have an unbelievably potent smell,
not necessarily a bad fragrance,
but I could smell these in aisle away.
They look great, but let me know in the comments
if you noticed the same thing.
Shoppers have been raving about these cool
to the touch quilted body pillows at $16
in a blue or green color,
and I was surprised that cooling technology
is more than apparent when I felt these in person.
If you live with allergies,
this two-pack of jumbo allergy defense pillows at 15 bucks
is advertised as a product that could potentially assist
with a hypoallergenic fill.
This 50-pack of non-slip hangers at 10 bucks
is a fantastic deal if you use this type of hanger
with dresses or formal shirts.
These lady swim dresses at $23 are rated at UPF 50
in a half dress, half swimsuit material.
I'm no expert but they look bright and fun.
This three-piece kids swim set at $15 includes a shirt,
bottom, and hat with that same UPF 50 protection,
also the case for these men's bucket hats at $15.
This three-pack of Banana Boat sunscreen at $13 is similar
to what we saw at Costco last year, a fantastic value.
Before I tackle food, in the number six spot,
this 10-person lighted tent at 250 boasts
an instant two-minute setup time.
This was so massive in store.
I could hardly fit this camping tent hotel into the frame.
With a solid foldable design,
this collapsible camping cot at 50 bucks might pair nicely
with the tent I just showcased
as would this collapsible table at $30 with two-cup holders.
This three-stove camp burner at 230
includes a flat top griddle with a folding leg design,
and while this is close in price to a full on barbecue,
you are paying a premium for this level of portability.
When I first saw this Coho pack and carry box at 50 bucks,
I wondered if this was just another cooler,
but this in fact has removable trays on the bottom
and even more storage pockets tucked inside the lid.
This would be great for fishing.
I just took my five-year-old on a fishing trip
and Mara caught her first fish.
You might remember these Molina wooded folding chairs
from prior years where it's typically manufactured
in a darker wood versus this lighter acacia wood
now available in the same design at 60 bucks.
The accompanying matching folding side table is also back
at $27.
If you prefer to recline this eucalyptus wood
swinging lounger at a hundred dollars
with a more modern aesthetic is something I have never seen
at Costco before with a fabric headrest
and zero assembly required, always music to my ears.
Alternatively, this zero gravity lounger at 90 bucks
with a slide out table,
has a very comfortable headrest and yes,
I did relax on this for a few minutes after digesting one
of those dollar 50 hotdog combos from the Costco food court.
Point seven starts with a not so frequent Costco food find,
this 10-pack of birria and cheese pupusas at 15.89,
a family favorite for my household
when they make their rare annual appearances.
This four-pack of chicken and cheese burritos at 11.89
sounds expensive at a first glance,
but with each almost as large as what you'd get at Chipotle,
the under $3 price per burrito could make a good treat
for school or the office.
This two-pound box of vegetable and chicken curry at 9.97
contains two convenient individual pouches,
so you could enjoy this over multiple nights.
I did encounter this three-pound box
of made in Italy fettuccine Alfredo at $12
and while you can buy chicken Alfredo
from the Costco bakery,
the Parmesan cheese in here is likely elevated
based on its 24 months of aging.
From a very well-known brand,
this Cavatappi Arrabbiata at 16 bucks
includes two individualized trays with spicy sausage.
I am quite excited to try this.
For a seafood splurge,
this whole cooked crab at 8.99 per pound works
out to around $30 per package.
These are previously frozen,
but they looked remarkable in the package
and are a fraction of what you would find
at many restaurants.
And for any leftovers or if you are stocking up,
this Midea seven-cubic foot chest freezer at $200
with an interior LED light and wire storage bins sold
for 230 last year versus the lower inviting price this year.
I'll reveal a big Apple deal in a moment,
but in the number eight spot,
this Hasbro Giant Connect Four at $70 brought joy
to my world as I've been anxiously waiting for this
to arrive at my local store.
I've seen others raving about this online for over a week
and I was starting to get nervous I wouldn't be able
to show it to you all.
If you love cornhole and you're searching
for something more durable, this $100 set is expensive,
but it's made of a thick plywood
and could be a consideration.
Something I've never seen at Costco
before is this kid's crocodile cave adventure waterpark
with a price that's not for the faint of heart at 380.
This features constant inflation and has a built-in slide,
a climbing wall, and a splash pool.
A fun fact, this is so big,
you could easily spot this from any area of the warehouse.
If you're lucky enough to have access to a boat,
this three-person inflatable towable at $200
has padded handles.
It features a tow rope and is a lot nicer
than the inner tube from a car tire.
I believe my grandfather had us use when we were kids.
Somehow we all survived.
For a large family gathering or karaoke party,
this high power speaker system at 150
includes a wireless microphone
and its stand is decked out in LEDs.
With a surprising 20-year warranty,
this made in the USA garden bench at 250
looked beautiful in person as a no frills quality bench.
Also weather resistant is this folding picnic table at 170.
This has a steel frame with an all-weather finish.
It looks like wood,
but it is composed from a resin with an umbrella hole
in the middle should you choose to accessorize.
And you might recall this 7.8 foot by 6.7 foot greenhouse.
I spent some time alone in here
to handle my panic attack over the $1,400 price.
As a slight silver lining,
this is $40 cheaper than last year.
And from a greenhouse to a screen house,
this 12-foot by 10-foot beauty
is at a much more affordable 190.
I realize it's a completely different type of product,
but for outdoor dining or lounging, this is massive.
Before I reveal what not to buy,
for my next point at the height of pressure washing season,
this Husqvarna 2300 PSI pressure washer at 240
is an increase from the performance
of the 2000 PSI equipped model Costco sold last year.
This 12-foot extension pole with five cleaning attachments
at 30 bucks looks like a manual version
of the motorized model I featured
in my recent Amazon kitchen gadgets video.
Similarly, this is great to clean,
hard to reach corners of your ceiling or tall windows.
For dog walking, a glove box or emergency kit,
this three-pack of flashlights at 30 bucks
includes a lifetime warranty.
They're rechargeable and a thousand lumens each.
These lightweight concrete planters at 40 bucks
were something that intrigued me when I saw them
for the first time last year.
I'm thrilled they're back and also apologetic
I did this weird knock test yet again.
What was so funny to me is I guess a shopper saw that,
and then right after, I saw them do their own knock test,
which cracked me up, I'm sorry I didn't get it on camera.
This handmade ceramic planter at 45 bucks is composed
from a glazed ceramic finish
and they almost glisten in person.
It's hard to believe these are handmade based on the price.
And complete with a carry bag on wheels,
this 13 by 13 foot center pushup canopy
was a beautiful open concept at 150.
This might provide some shelter from the sun on a beach
or at a park.
This piqued my interest as something
for summer barbecues as well.
Just in time for spring cleaning.
For my next point,
we use these 27-gallon storage totes with lids in our house.
At $8, these sold out quickly when this price debuted
in January and they're now back in stock.
I might avoid this HP color laser printer at 370
despite its $120 price drop.
I'd advise instead that you pick
up this Canon color laser from Best Buy,
which I own and it's extremely well-rated at $70 less.
Speaking of $70 price drops, I welcome the reduction
of this LG 35-inch display that's now priced at 280.
You score some serious screen real estate
and this would work well for my mom
who stores every document
and photo she has ever received right on her desktop.
This Belkin dual wireless charging pad is on clearance
at 19.97.
A great deal compared to the no name brands.
Amazon typically sells for the same price.
This performs very well.
I should mention none of this content is sponsored.
This two-pack of motion activated lights at $24
were on display.
They're wireless, rechargeable,
and they last up to six months on one charge.
I put these in our hallway for our daughter
who sometimes wanders in the middle of the night
to check if her parents are asleep.
If for any reason you're searching for a MacBook Pro,
it is uncommon to see a $150 price drop on the most recent
of the M3 models at $1,400.
And if you prefer a high powered Windows product,
this HP 16-inch gaming laptop is $400 off,
and now down to a thousand bucks as an i7 with 32 gigs
of RAM and a solid graphics card.
Our bonus section begins with a bookcase,
but not just any bookcase.
At 44 inches in length by 50 inches in height,
this children's tree bookcase at 120
features multiple shelf sizes to display books,
keepsakes, and other treasures.
For those who are able to plant right now, weather wise,
Costco offers a variety of four-foot fruit trees at $18
with plums, apples, and pears as options.
Anytime you can grow your own food to save money,
I am certainly on board.
One thing I didn't really get on board
for is the Stanley cup obsession.
So this two-pack of Stanley cup dupes
at a more palatable $24 is something I'll certainly embrace.
And if you've always dreamed of a toilet with a heated seat
and various features,
you might not want me to describe in vivid detail,
this TOTO bidet toilet seat is $50 off and now 300 bucks.
And there you have it.
Thanks for watching.
I love you.
Bye-bye.
