EA Sports College Football 25 Covers, Release Date & More!

EA Sports just dropped a bunch of

information for the upcoming EA Sports

college football 25 video game that

comes out on July 19th officially this

video is sponsored by EA Sports as they

did get me some of this information

early so that I could get this video

ready for you guys so we got the

standard cover we got the deluxe cover

we got a release date we got some info

on what's to come and we got all of the

pre-order details to go over in this

video now if you don't want to miss any

game we're going to be getting a ton of

news over the next few weeks about this

game as we get closer to the release

so the first thing we got to go over is

the official cover reveal now some of

this leaked last week I think even

something leaked yesterday that wasn't

in the best quality but today we get an

official look at the covers we got the

standard regular cover which is going to

have Travis Hunter Donovan Edwards and

Quin yers frontf facing on the standard

edition and then of course the deluxe

edition which we did see last week it

has those three kind of from a back view

with a bunch of other col football

players you could see some other notable

guys like milro on the cover as well now

me personally I like the deluxe cover a

little bit better than the standard

cover because it just has more players

on it I think it's just a cool shot but

both covers look great glad to finally

have this game back but let's dive into

some of the details that you really want

to know about now initially we did think

that they were going to be sharing some

more details today because when they put

up the countdown last week it said full

reveal but then shortly after that they

did change it to cover reveal so we're

only getting cover and pre-order type

stuff today but tomorrow they did say

that there's going to be a trailer

dropping tomorrow so that should be

exciting the first Sizzle trailer of the

game and then in the weeks to come

they're going to be dropping a bunch of

news as we get closer to the release now

the release date is July 19th and I

believe that was the rumor release date

about a month ago we knew it would be

sometime in mid July because that's

always when the college football games

used to drop back in the day July 19th

has been the date that's been going

around for a while and it turns out it

was true I mean there was really only

one of two dates that made sense it was

either going to be July 19th or was

going to be the week before that cuz

really any other time frame for college

football doesn't make a lot of sense

when you also factor in that Madden is

going to be coming out around mid August

now they did also confirm the platforms

for the game it's going to only be

coming on PS5 and the Xbox series x/s so

the newest generation consoles which is

technically current gen now the latest

PlayStation and Xbox consoles it's not

going to be on last generation no PS4 no

Xbox One and it's also not going to be

on PC which I know is kind of a bummer

for a lot of people and I think there's

probably some different reasons why it's

not coming out on PC but we do have the

newer gen consoles and that's kind of

what we had been hearing for a while

anyway so not really a big surprise

there now let's talk about the pre-order

stuff for the game so as we have been

hearing for a while we knew that the

game was going to have an ultimate team

mode much like NCW 14 did and obviously

much like Madden does today so pre-order

stuff is going to be a little bit more

heavily focused on Ultimate Team because

that's kind of the one mode where you

can give a lot of those extras but

you're going to also get Early Access

for the game and there's even a bundle

with Madden and college football which I

think is probably going to be the best

option for most people if you're

planning on getting both games so the

pre-order window for the game is now

live on EA's website or you can go into

the store on your consoles it is open

until July 18th if you pre-order the

deluxe edition you will get it 3 days

early on July 16th which I assume a lot

of people are probably going to do that

because with a game like this coming

back I mean I know me myself like I

don't want to wait till the 19th I want

to play it as early as possible if you

have the EA play on your consoles as

well you also get an early access trial

that starts on July 16th as well so

we've seen that with Madden over the

years you get the few day early access

with EA play usually it's a little bit

more of a limited Early Access I don't

know if this one's going to be limited

to a certain amount of hours that's

usually how it was for Madden but if you

have EA play already you can play it

early without pre-ordering the deluxe if

you don't have EA play you can pre-order

the deluxe but I believe EA play is

going to be a lot cheaper if you're just

worried about playing it early now the

pre-order content for the standard

edition obviously you're going to get

the game you're not going to get it

early if it's the standard edition but

you're going to also get an alma moer

Ultimate Team pack you get a choice of

one out of 134 which is the amount of

school so you get to choose one player

from any school that you want you're

also going to get a cover athlete pack

which is going to give you a choice of

one of the three cover athletes and

you're going to get the bring Glory home

Ultimate Team uniform which is just

something extra you can wear on your

team again if you're not an Ultimate

Team player then there's really in my

opinion no reason to pre-order the

standard edition because you could just

buy it the day it comes out you don't

need the extras if you're not planning

on playing ultimate team now when you

get to the deluxe that's when it becomes

a conversation so the deluxe pre-order

which is going to be $100 kind of

standard for deluxe editions the

standard is going to be $70 which is the

standard for standard editions these

days so $100 for the deluxe you do get

the 3-day Early Access you can play it

on July 16th but you're also going to

get 4600 college football points which

are just basically virtual currency that

you can use to buy stuff in the Ultimate

Team mode and then you're going to also

get the alma mat pack the cover pack

you're going to also get a Heisman

hopeful Ultimate Team pack which is

going to give you a choice of one of

five Heisman players and you're going to

also get that uniform as well so

pre-ordering the deluxe is mainly do you

want to get the game early and if you're

going to play Ultimate Team and you want

the game early then it makes sense if

you just want the game early you're

probably better off just doing EA play

cuz that's going to be cheaper then

we've got the MVP bundle now this leaked

about last week and everybody was kind

of freaking out cuz they were like why

is this $150 what could possibly be

worth $150 and no one really knew what

it was going to be but after looking at

it I think this actually makes the most

sense if you are planning on buying both

games because you're going to get both

Deluxe editions of the game which is a

crazy value cuz you're essentially

getting one deluxe edition half off so

if you want to pre-order the MVP bundle

you can do this up until August 15th

which means Madden's release date has

kind of been revealed in this as well as

August 16th which is pretty interesting

so if you pre-order the MVP bundle

you're going to get both Deluxe editions

of the game both college football and

Madden 25 you get 3-day Early Access for

both games however however you do want

to pre-order it before college football

comes out or else you can't take

advantage of that completely so you

definitely would want to pre-order it

before August 15th but even if you

pre-order it up until August 15th you're

still going to get both games which is

good you're going to get all of the

Ultimate Team perks as you could see

here on the screen for both games so

really in my opinion if you are planning

on buying both games even if you don't

play Ultimate Team the MVP bundle is

still the best value because essentially

for $10 more you get to play both games

early even if you don't touch Ultimate

Team now if you are an Ultimate Team

player then it makes even more sense

because then the value just starts

stacking up so you know $150 is a big

number but again if you're playing both

games you got to think about it both

standard editions of the game are 70

each so that's 140 right there just for

the standard editions on the day that

they actually come out so for $10 more

you get it early and you get Ultimate

Team stuff if you're into that so I

think that makes the most sense if you

actually are planning to get both now

when are we going to learn more about

college football 25 obviously we're

getting a trailer tomorrow as they

announced today but they're also going

to be dropping more info on May 21st as

they said in their blog so next Tuesday

there's going to be a full reveal now I

am flying out on Tuesday so I'm not sure

if I'm going to have that video up right

on time or if it's going to be a little

later in the day I'm definitely going to

bring my laptop and stuff with me so I

can record when I get to where I'm going

I'm going to try to hopefully get that

video out before I have to leave if I

have enough time so regardless you'll

get a video from me on Tuesday we'll be

breaking down all the info that they're

going to drop we're probably going to

get more information about game modes on

that day cuz tomorrow if they're

dropping a trailer it's likely going to

be a Sizzle trailer it's going to be

cinematic it's not going to be like

straightforward gam play it's it's going

to be one of those like really dressed

up trailers kind of to Hype the the game

up which is the first trailer that

usually drops so on Tuesday May 21st

we'll probably get stuff about Dynasty

mode Road to Glory and stuff like that

some gameplay information and that's

going to really be an important day cuz

that's going to be the first really big

big info about the game that we've

gotten directly from EA mouth so make

sure that you are subscribed make sure

that you have your notifications turned

on because we got more coming tomorrow

we got more coming next Tuesday And even

in the weeks to follow they're going to

keep releasing information I'm sure most

weeks until the July 19th release much

like they do with Med we don't just get

one or two days of info we usually get

something almost every week until the

game drops we're going to get player

ratings we're going to get deeper dives

into certain modes of the game and it's

going to be a lot of fun everybody's

excited to have the game back I know I

am so make sure that you have everything

turned on and you're ready for all of

this info that's about to start flowing

every single day until release and
