Transcripts
all right well welcome everyone today is
a special day because uh I am playing
f124 be one of the first people ever to
play f124 so lucky me I'm going to be
reacting to many new things that we have
in f124 from myself the characters um a
couple new tracks as well and many other
additions which are going to make uh
career mode a lot more special and a lot
more exciting so let's crack on oh hello
my guys taking a selfie let's go
straight in play Grand Prix F1 world car
I guess that's your own personal one
f124 and as always F2 first of
all to my home track we're going to send
it all the way to Silverstone new
updated
cars of course I'm going to be running
in the McLaren um well let's just go and
have a look at
me look at Oscar well the graphics as
you can tell are heavy updated Oscar's
hair looks extremely real little like uh
don't know what you call it um and me
this is
um I find it weird looking at myself it
doesn't have my mustache in so maybe
that's something I'll update freeze
there times
10 enhance then forward frame by
frame a du well why why is this even a
question 100 110 I would go 111 but
doesn't allow me to let me set up my
weekend we're going to have uh standard
weekend structure we're going to have
one fp1 uh we'll do a single session but
it's not a Sprint race we do a one lap
qualifying session length very short
start event here we go practice Great
Britain cornering slow in fast out you
wouldn't believe it when I tell you I'm
still learning that well here we go
let's have a look around there's Oscar
over there um go to track the car
setting screen on your multi-function
display will allow you to change various
settings as you drive open the display
with the MFD button and you can then
navigate up and down to the setting you
want to
change I don't want to change anything
they have to update my steering wheel
not going to lie um I've changed a few
things since this the x button is in the
wrong place my overtake is in the wrong
place my neutral button's in the wrong
place the ACs button is actually black
with white writing not white with black
writing so I'll make sure I let them
know here we
go thing is here I'm going to drive
Silverstone with the new car before
we've actually done Silverstone
so oh my
god i' I've locked up I've locked
everything up how do I change view let
me go
settings oh
camera
cockpit so for this weekend I expect oh
my
God have got Auto break on or
what oh my God I need Auto brakes on I'm
off again I promise you I do this for
real you're a bacon of
FR so as you can see or you should have
seen if you're paying
attention this is a an updated track
model for Silverstone so the track now
is pretty much as accurate as you can
get so actually what we have here is
just as accurate as what we actually use
when uh when we're preparing for the
race I always go mute when I'm
concentrating surface temps tend to
fluctuate faster so try a few laps with
the data open and get a feel for how to
control them my engineer telling me to
look up my
data he's fired retire from
session I'm out it's qualifying day here
at Silverstone wow they've made me look
rather tall in the game I don't think I
was quite that tall but thank you air
temperature 24° track temperature 34 I
think that should be a bit higher not
going to lie customize set up all right
here we go we want the lowest fuel
possible one lap front Wing let's up
that touch
transmission engine
braking I don't like running engine
braking personal
thing I don't like it here we go my
first quality on
f124 wherever I qualify here is going to
be where I
qualify oh my God I was going to say
it's where I'm going to qualify for
Silverstone race
but not to a good start oh it's for
stopping I think I'm up
I think I on for P1 at the
minute beautiful all right it's a nice
lap so far nice
lap
wow that was
horrendous final
chicane hopefully I don't mess it up oh
my God he's nailed
it up at the pointy end oh on Paul
basically means I'm going to be on Poll
for the race I'm on pole 2 and 1 half T
ahead of Max for staing that's the
first I'm going to race five laps in the
sunshine around the new Silverstone look
at that Max
pose is the Hilton if you want to stay
in the Hilton you can just stay in the
hotel just there if you want where's the
clutch I don't have a clutch oh my god
I've actually got jump start I got a
drive-thru don't worry you know
guys
easy I've been here oh I didn't do fuel
let's pray that all of the fuel is in
the car I forgot to change
it I've been hit again God it's
dangerous down the back here Alex took
me
out as you can see 110% difficulty is
pretty tough
oh my God
so I think with the
improved I was was going to say the
improved handling much easier to
control the tire degradation as well
now cuz as although there was a lot
before actually controlling is now
available was not always the easiest but
I think now it's a lot more accurate
with all the tire temperatures carcass
surf oh what an overtake sorry Alex good
job that was the fastest lap of the race
so far fastest lap I'm on
fire all right this is for top 10 to get
back in the points I got straw and
botas well that wasn't very good was it
it says I actually have to serve my
drive-thru otherwise I'm about to get
disqualified oh my God I spun let's
pretend and nothing's
happened and here we
go nothing ever
happened okay Black Flag oh I've been
disqualified I'm out was no oh God Max
one well guys it's accurate was perfect
Max doesn't even celebrate like that
anymore he just has like a little yes oh
my God we're in the Arden forest for an
absolute classic challenge so we uh we
got to qualified from race one um so now
we're on to race two Spa I put it even
on pouring rain surprised they haven't
canceled the race to be honest but
anyway we're going to go straight in I
don't know where I've qualified no
qualifying we're just straight into the
race I'm going to not jump to start this
time
I feel like this could go very
wrong oh my God
Oscar nice gosh Hamilton break testing
me just did a Fernando all right okay be
careful I got damage taken some minor
damage oh my
God she's slippery that's what she
said get out my need to give that place
back I'm afraid that was an illegal
overtake illegal
overtake oh God I've gone
wide oh God yes normally I'm good here
in the rain until Q3 then I end up in
the wall but the best Improvement on
this generally is the
handling even though I just went off the
track the handling is a lot more
accurate a lot more
controllable what I am not doing is not
the most accurate
just oh my
God who is that I think Oscar just took
me out who was that Fernando mate
Fernando mate so it's a lot more
controllable and a lot more accurate
because in the past the grip's just been
too high in the rain now you almost feel
like you're drifting and it's actually
an accurate
feeling of exactly how it should be okay
take it easy on the car we can't sustain
this level of damage it's not very good
I don't know if IOU is
flat I don't think it's is let's try it
oh my God oh my God oh my God na it I'm
actually very impressed the
handling in the rain is one of the
hardest things to get
correct
but it's
very today junior accurate mainly cuz
I'm the fastest one out there so it's
very accurate but uh
the feeling you have of like when you're
sliding over pushing cor Corners the
[ __ ] Corning Corning mate the [ __ ]
Corning but the feeling you get now when
you're you're cornering and controlling
the slides is a big step
better than what it was before you kind
of have a snap you'd lose it easy to
spin oh my God George get out of my way
mate there we go that's not like it do
one mate but you need good car control
like it's not easy you have to correct
the car a lot sliding a lot you have to
be pretty accurate with it all and uh
that's a good thing because it's the
same in the real car so here I go
overtake oh my god I've gone in so hot
damn I just crashed with stroll all
right three laps to go or two laps too
one thing you have to be very careful of
is the the the
Locking super easy to lock the front
tires as soon as you do
it game over ah so catching Hamilton for
P5 dry line
appearing oh my God what a
man he need needs another year in the
sport final lap final LA final lap push
push right I need a Podium here don't I
okay final lap P5 at the minute ah so
track is getting a little bit
drier tires are going away from me a
little
bit I'm in the
gravel all right well it's going to have
to be one hell of an overtake coming up
Carlos
signs I run out of battery
beautiful Carlos just got
absolutely oh my God he's done me well
actually wait one sec quick
flashback boom there we go that's the
one I
think he's still there he's just
standing there menacingly caros mate
all be him I think the Bas was actually
okay just too traffic too
follow they recorded my voice that's
actually my voice a drive day Perez won
well that's it come to an end uh Landon
noris fastest lap by over 1.4 seconds uh
what a beast yes that's my time on Eon
24 it's been a lot of fun so I will say
a very quick shout out to EA and f124
for sorting all of the the S it is
released May 31st and if you order
Champions Edition 28th of May so if you
want it 3 days before everyone else just

is it right thank you very much and I'll
see you all soon
