medium Specialist or perhaps even
Miracle Worker the one and only C Jack
inquires about Halloween it holds a
special significance in his work yes
christu agrees all hollow's Eve is when
it's easiest to open doors into the
world and is also the last chance of the
recently deceased to take care of any
unfinished business Jack is curious does
he hear these Spirits voices all the
time he reveals it's more akin to a ham
radio picking up signals amongst the
airwaves if he doesn't want to listen he
just switches it off cristu is ready for
a demonstration of his talents noting
the energy in the room here is strong he
closes his eyes and takes a deep breath
saying that he's already received
receiving signals he starts stammering
about hearing a p word Peter and the
audience stays silent he changes to
Peterson someone muttering Peter man Cru
latches on to this but it's clear that
he is full of beans and is a complete
fraud after the failure he apologizes
blaming interference of some kind he
supposedly receives a new signal honing
in on a lady in the front row inquiring
about someone called Edmond the mom and
daughter reveal that he was her younger
brother and something bad did happen Cru
Comforts him that Eddie is at peace now
and is sorry for all the pain that he
caus them he's now hearing the word Papa
and his mom cries that was the name of
his precious childhood Stephy He blesses
them both and the crowd Roars in
rapturous hand slapping Jack starts to
throw it to a commercial and there's
brief noise on the screen and christu
suddenly Wines in pain something intense
is here he groans and it's not Edmond he
screams in agony saying that he's
getting the name Millie Gus offers he
had a great Aunt Molly Chris who
shouting Millie back he can see so much
sadness along with an unmarried man with
a wedding ring the spirit needs to talk
to you he croaks and his eyes start
rolling back in his head the studio
lights crackle and explode Cru is still
shaken up muttering she's gone Jack
returns to his host Persona smiling
we'll be right back after these messages
well if those earlier signals were fake
that definitely seemed real Chas D was
not ready for that [ __ ] we move to black
and white footage showing us behind the
scenes and the scuzzy producer gives a
cursory check on Chu offering him some
bourbon he says he prefer water and Leo
asked him to stick around before he can
even answer Pats him on the back and
walks off not even remotely interested
in his well-being got to keep the show
going Jack expresses concern over what
just happened and Leo writes it off
whatever happened it was great TV
there's extra stress added as the big
brass of the network are in the audience
and wants to talk to him he has enough
on his plate without kissing their asses
and Leo counters he's just trying to
keep them on the air they get their
makeup touched up and Cru looks dazed
the makeup artist tries to blot all of
his sweat off and he grabs her hand
growling for her to stop Jack brings his
next guest known as carmichel The
Conjurer who has now changed course
completely becoming one of the biggest
voices in the skeptic movement car
struts out not looking exactly thrilled
to be here he asks if he can smoke and
shows off some classic slight of hand
producing a cigar from his sleeve and
seemingly lighting it with his hand the
audience gobbling it all right up car
remarks they are sure a susceptible
Bunch his mission now is to test claims
brought to his Institute to determine if
they are mere trickery or in fact
genuine sigh phenomenon we see them
outside side of the infamous amville
house car saying that he did invite the
Warren along but they were too spooked
to show that being add and Lorraine
Warren of course who were involved in
the real Amityville case you know
Conjuring and what have you he admits
the world would be more interesting if
these Supernatural kinds of things were
real like bending spoons or talking to
the dead he says staring right at Cru he
needs proof he says and until he gets
something legit he goes around exposing
swindlers for who they really are he
even has a reward for the first claim
actually ever verified a check for 100
grand quite a lot especially in the 70s
christu snears that he doesn't need the
money and starts hacking up still
insisting that he's all right car is
more than happy to dismiss his work
utilizing as he says a bag of tricks
dating back to Biblical times he brings
up how he did flop pretty hard at first
and as for the mother and daughter thing
well even a stopped clock is right twice
a day things get a bit heated and
christu throws his water in his face he
tries to go for the door but cannot
leave the stage as for the many thing
Jack spills that he thinks that might
have actually been directed towards him
the first time indicating that this
whole night is really all about Jack
personally even christu is surprised by
this news and Jack tells the audience
Minnie is the private nickname for his
deceased wife meline along with they
mentioning an unmarried man with a
reading ring showing off that he still
wears his car isn't buying it Manny's
death was no secret and it's a
statistical certainty someone will fall
for the ACT don't be a fool C starts
looking all messed up again and
collapses on the stage grunting he
projectile vomits up black goo going all
over over Carmichael and then ride onto
the lens groy someone presumably his
wife rushes to his side and they get him
back to his dressing room car turns
things on Jack thinking that he staged
the whole thing calling his performance
quite impressive indeed regarding Maddie
there really only are three
possibilities Cru is actually right two
he guessed it or three Jack must have
told him and he knows a little drama is
definitely good for Ratings he brings up
Jack's friends at the Grove which he
hopes to visit one day himself mostly
for their fabled orgies they call an
ambulance for Cru and already the show
is gaining traction the switchboard is
all lit up good or bad it doesn't matter
as long as people are talking after the
break Jack addresses Cru saying he's
currently getting medical attention car
scoffs saying there's no need for that
your jacket would disagree Jack retorts
he chalks up the vomiting to an old
Vaudeville technique spouting dismissing
his performance entirely Jack pokes him
to keep that check handy and Carr has
surprisingly put it in his own pocket oh
you still got it buddy even though
you're Jack brings out his next guest Dr
June the author of the book
conversations with the devil that will
be hitting shells next week he's
confident that their story is wild
enough that it will certainly challenge
more than a few Skeptics out there car
is in Phase looking over it and bored as
usual they play a clip detailing the
tragic story of young Lily a quite
normal house was the HQ of the first
church of abraxis also briefly mentioned
in the opening definitely going for an
Anton Le kind of thing here there's a
bunch of followers dawned in red robes
an ornate knife is laid gently on a
velvet pillow and we learn their founder
and leader is a man called diabo I'm not
sure how or why but he sits down for an
interview explaining that abraxis shows
us there is no good or evil and no
Redemption to boot there is only what we
desire and how to take it the
interviewer thinks that he makes it
sound easy and diabo clarifies the
master does demand sacrifice the cult
came to the attention of the FBI for
kidnapping and fire related offenses and
even more alarmingly they were rumored
to be breeding children for a human
sacrifice according to them anyone that
Witnesses their rituals now falls under
the spell of abraxis and must perform
under his tutelage in August of 78 the
house was sieged leading to a 3-day
standoff knowing that there was no way
to win they doused the entire place
along with the followers and gasoline
only one kid 10-year-old Lily survived
her memories of her time in the house
however were hazy and they couldn't help
but Wonder was her surviving all part of
Dio's master plan or was she merely
lucky what do you think it's the FBI
that puts Lily in contact with June and
her Sai Research Center and they delve
right into their work AI we hear a
recording of their first session Lily
breathes heavily scraping her chair
along the floor June asks who she is
speaking with Lily begins to answer and
then starts screeching June calls for
help and the tape breaks well seems like
she still got something else inside
there they bring out June and Lily Jack
gives her a peck on the cheek and based
on her face it looks like something else
is going on there oh Jackie boy you old
dog you Lily steps out getting an
automatic ah from the crowd and she does
seem normal enough on first appearance
though she does act a little bit off at
least staring right at the camera lens
and when Jack says he's glad to have
them she weirdly says she's glad he
could join them too she hasn't watched
the show before but June has mentioned
him before calling him very handsome woo
